    What happened to the arrow, circle and box that were in the bottom left corner?

      So you can't change the text box color of the text anymore?

    You don’t show how to use the square or circle to put a border around something in the pic. That’s the whole reason I came here.

      I do believe I have some videos on that in my playlist iPhone check it out

    Once you get the rectangle with the moving dashes how can you turn that into an actual box if you are trying to highlight something? Shit is so fucking frustrating

      They don’t make it easy

    Only if you have a previous iteration of the software, you can always pinch and spread the photo out to see closer detail but the magnifying glass is no longer there unfortunately

    The markup used to have a light background. Now it’s dark makes it harder to use especially if you older.

      Yep they’re always changing it. Have a happy holiday and thank you for watching.

    It’s BROKEN. Now all the colors are TRANSPARENT. I’ve been using this for years. OPACITY IS BROKEN.

      Try powering down the phone and then power it back up and see if it comes back

    Unfortunately, Apple changes the software each time they do an update, and some of the features disappear

    What happened to the magnifier option under markup?

      We lost that in the new iterations of software, unfortunately

      @@TomLeeman What do you mean by "We lost it" ? I run contruction crews and my guys always send me pictures every day from different jobs.... Magnifier tool was everything to me in order to zoom in and show a close up detail, but now somehow apple lost it? Is there a way to get it back somehow?

      @@MaestroShket You could use the magnifier tool that's in the Control Centre.

    So …. I’ve used markup before but it’s recently changed where if I choose a shape it “greys out” part of the screen in that shape. I’m assuming it’s to highlight a particular area but I can’t seem to figure out how to JUST highlight and not crop it to the highlighted area. Can you make a video on that ? 🙏🏻

    • @TomLeeman
      @TomLeeman  9 місяців тому +1

      I’ll take a look at it and see if I can figure that out and make a video for you?

      @@TomLeeman- thank you ! I’ll be playing with it in the meantime. 😊
      So I’m getting a better idea of what I’m doing but I still think a video would be helpful & appreciated because I can’t be the only one fumbling with it !!

      How do we put a rectangle or other shape without fill and make the perimeter of the shape thicker? I did this all the time before upgrading. Now I can’t figure out how in markup to do it.

    • @hoopoe_
      @hoopoe_ 6 місяців тому +1

      @@raybovaird When you insert a rectangle or other shape, you'll see four small circles at the bottom of the page. The two circles on the left let you control the colour and thickness of the border and the circles on the right control the colour and opacity of the filler. Set the border thickness to about 6 or 7. Tap the third circle from the left to open the colour picker and then tap on the small circle which has a line running through it, which means 'no filler'.
