So the ones I had on were the “not even slinky”. What scale length is the guitar you had them on? As that can make a big difference to tension and stuff
sorry for just getting back to you, I admit these were some crazy gauges but with that lower scale length I needed the stability. but I have changed now.
Thanks man!
have you tried the "not even slinky" ernie balls? i swear by them for C standard or drop B, just wondering how they compare

@@jamesmcdonaldmusic1783 was actually using it on the jackson minion so super short scale but sounded crisp and clean for drop B stuff
That’s pretty surprising on such a short scale. For me I hit the guitar pretty hard so I have to use the thick strings so it stays in tune for me.
I know that prs is 25 scale but my god a 62?!? 😂 I wouldn’t even use that unless it was atleast A# on a Gibson scale.
😂😂 lol! Well I’ve changed my drop C guitar now because I think those massive strings were one of my issues when I got tendonitis…
Nice.
Bro i wouldn’t go any lower than Drop A# with those gauges. Jesus Christ 48 is what most people have for D# or D, let a lone a G on the 5th string!!!
