You are such a thoughtful nurse and think of so many extra little details that make all the difference in the care of a mama and family. You’re like a nurse-doula-friend super combo! You’re inspiring me to want to do it too! Where did you get your training??
thank you so much for making videos like this! it's super helpful bc i want to go into nursing and l&d but i keep doubting myself, so it really helps to see and know what kinds of responsibilities someone would have on the job! :)
Anna! Thank you so much for sharing a day in the life of an L&D and Mother Baby nurse. I’m an aspiring L&D nurse but I would LOVE to find a job that would allow me to do both. I checked out some of your other videos too, your tips are amazing 🥹💕 I know recording at work is hard and it is ESSENTIAL to be discrete so again thank you so much for taking us along. The only feedback I have I guess if possible would be try to record in a horizontal view VS vertical. That would take your videos to the next level girl lol anyways you have a new subbie! Can’t wait till your next video!
Yes! I know! I 100% forgot to film horizontal because I’m always filming vertical. I was so upset when I realized I filmed it the wrong way. So yes I agree, I will do horizontal next time.
Can you provide a copy of your report sheet in the description? I am starting my placement in L & D this semester and I am feeling super nervous! Thank you!
I didn't see your channel until i was postpartum by a month. I wish i had found you so i could have been more educated on my birth. The hospital i gave birth at was so different compared to what you portray. The nurses were still sweet but they all gave my different information. And they were very assertive about getting the blood test. They woke my newborn up to do it.
I love your content so much! I have always wanted to be a nurse of some type, but it was you who made me want to become a l&d nurse. Any tips or advice for me ❤️❤️❤️
I asked for “sprite and cranberry juice please” after I delivered two weeks ago (after seeing this video). My nurse seemed really offended that I’d asked and said “we have water or apple juice.” 😳
this is making me think if i should be an RN for labor and delivery or RN regularly is there a difference? since im attending to college for RN I wish i had that basinet when i had my baby :) I love your videos is a big motivation and thank you for being there for all the mamas out there.:)
Thank you for sharing this vlog! I’m a new grad and currently applying to both postpartum + NICU units so it was awesome to see an actual day in the life of your unit 🥰 (I’m scared of L&D hahaha)
@@renee187 UPDATE: I got a job in L&D 🤰🏻💕 I have my ADN, and I’ve been in my current RN to BSN program since the second semester of my ADN program. I only have until this October to go, and I’ll be done with my BSN🥳
I deliver in 2 weeks and I pray I have a nurse like you. You seem so sweet and caring 😭🖤🖤🖤
Awww thank you! Sending you good thoughts!
Yuck you want a tim Tok nurse
Ugh me too if you want to just fly out to Canada to help me deliver in June that would be cool too 🥺
I’m not even in high school yet and I’m already looking at careers and this is in my top 3! Thank you for showing this

That is awesome! Take it one day at a time. There is a section on top of my Tiktok page titled “for future L&D nurses” it’s all you need to know
Thanks for this video. This is encouraging me yo become a L&D nurse. 😊
This is random, but I love your heart necklace! Where is it from if you don't mind me asking?

Odd :/
Sprite and apple juice was mu favorite after birth. Tastes like apple pie 😋
The funny thing about the MaMa Moctail 1.0, is this is a drink a strip club I know about used to get customers to “buy a drink” for a dancer. Lol
Will you be my preceptor lol😂. You’re awesome❤

@@renee187 Thank you, you got this!! God bless you as well ☺️
How has work been so far? @@ArjenSarah
Love your videos, I was just wondering what is the difference between an L&P and an L&D nurse?
I’m not sure. What does L&P stand for?
Labor and postpartum
I wanna be a L&D nurse! For the drug test is it a urine? How does it work? Is it random? Or standard for everyone?
At our hospital it’s on everyone unless they refuse
this video reminds me of another video i watched 😂
I’m thinking about becoming an L&D nurse, I just gotta get all my vaccines up to date 🥲 lots of jabs in my future 😅
