Yo. Super clean and I'm pretty sure I know why I don't have many yellows and pinks left in the lot. Only one small critique, and it's only because I know you'll take it as that, and only that. (It's the "business" side of being an artist!!! ;) When I draw objects that appear both in the scope of the liquid and outside of the liquid, i like to offset it by just enough to know that it's not matching. It really makes the appearance of the object (roller arm) behind the liquid (in this instance) to have that natural distortion from the light bending. (For the newer artists, put a pencil in a half glass of water. It's the easiest way to see what I'm trying to explain. And, it'll be instantly recognized) This sounds very "art school" and a bit ridiculous. But, when it comes to art, i believe we should try everything we can. It makes us be more comfortable with being creative, rather than being expected to just create. I love all of your work and the "brain" was a great way to loosen things up a bit. And, of course... If i didn't remark on your drop shadows, killer backgrounds, and those f'n FILA zipper pulls, i would certainly be remiss. Looks dope! Can't wait for you to see my version of your art! Quite a few "Easter eggs" in there. Be well. Big ups!
Yeah mate good tip. I somewhat rushed this tbh, I'm not really feeling it at the moment. I'm thinking I'm going to have to do a radical shift in what I'm doing. I'm preferring just using blacks at the moment so that might be the direction. Maybe I just need a spell on the wall, that's sometimes the solution. I can't do too much on paper or canvas until I start getting bored and not wanting to draw anymore. Such a solitary activity, the opposite of what painting is.
@@CUTEMKUltras it truly is a monk's life that we have to deliberately choose. It's tough as ffffff... But, I hope you trust when i say thank you, I really mean it. You've given at least one guy someone to draw with. I appreciate you man. Just an aside: I noticed that you do the exact same thing that I have done forever when you're drawing with a marker. Why can't we put the cap down? If it's a "locating the cap when finished" issue, why don't we put it on the back of the marker... Where it fits? ;) I've caught myself clutching a cap in my left hand and looking for it for ten minutes. ;) In short, I've developed a strange habit of grabbing a napkin, or facial tissue, and holding that in my left hand. Sometimes two. I've noticed that my hands (especially my non writing hand) don't hurt half as much as they used to? Sometimes I'm only using the pen for a few lines, and that's fine... But ending the day with clenched fists is for the younger crowd. Just thought I might share that with you? Definitely subdued the habit of gripping that tiny cap. Also, I have not yet had the time to watch the last flip video! I'm hoping to get to it tonight. I know that there are soooooooo many treasures in there!!! Again brother, thank you for what you do.
I put a small piece of art in the package I sent you. On the front it says "Embrace the chaos"... It was in reference to our VERY BRIEF conversation about straightedges... ;) But, I think it's got a lot of different meanings. If all you want to do is black work right now ... Now is the time to really get into it. Your comic book styles are excellent and I ALWAYS see the step up from the last piece. We are not to criticize or own work. It's inherently ours and an intentional motivation. Do what motivates you and the crowds start to form. (Seriously, i just did an entire piece using only browns i was so f'n bored... Now it's one of my favorite pieces. The irony is not lost, i just laugh it off now. Always sending my best to you man. And that's the whole point really right, trying $#!+? Apologies for filling up the comment's section. ;)
