That is exactly right! You can legally play mono decks, however you would (currently) always benefit from adding at least a few cards from another colour at competitive plays.
the first chapter starterdeck with wizard mickey and moana on it is pretty good i think. not extremly competitive as it is not focused enough but thats all starterdecks i guess. maybe do some netdecking and see what other people built?
It’s definitely scary to get into. For me watching gameplays where they iterate on the deck between games helped make it feel less daunting (would recommend Savzj’s vids). Do you have a favourite card, you could start from there 😊
Thank you! Your tips are a game-changer for me. Now I don’t have to keep copying top decks and can finally make my own 🙏
Straight to the point, simple video. Just giving me the info I need clearly. Thanks!
Your video editing techniques and execution is phenomenal, beautiful work
Thanks, I am quite new to this, so appreciate the kind words.
This video is great and what I’ve been looking for to help me build my deck!
Before I even watch! Deck Building eludes me gawrsh!!!
Know the feeling 💯Hope this helped a bit though. Is there a deck/card you are trying to make work?
Absolutely loved this video. Thanks for creating it. I plan on sharing it to help friends understand the game.
So happy to hear, thank you! 🙏
Let me know if you/they have any questions about the game.
You said max Color combo is 2; does that mean you can do mono colours if wanted?

I want to get into this game, but idk what deck to start off with that's not to expensive but also competitive.

Can I mix the 1st chapter and rises of floodborn as one deck ?
Yes! You can use any future sets too. (The starter decks actually include cards from previous sets as well)
What is that at the end? A way to play online???
It’s an unofficial client run by some amazing people. You can find all about it at: www.pixelborntcg.com
