@@LondonHasFallin I buy local farm produce whenever possible and I don't complain. I complain about my Gov't that is the root cause of inflation, not the farmers.
This would be a great episode to see on Mike Rows Dirty Jobs. It is good to see that Americans are hard at work out there providing the sustaining food we need to survive in our everyday lives. Live long and prosper.
Amazing work Lukas, you and your brother are both young guys with many skills on the farm. Please be careful with the powerful machinery... Good work 👍 Au
The cat was cracking me up, not too phased by the bobcat being close by….Without much clearance in tight spaces and getting between the poles in the barn with what looked to be relative ease, some skillful and impressive driving. :)
Good shit! It’s amazing what kids can do when they are raised in this setting. My sons are 6 and 8. They are already operating skid steers, driving hay trucks, etc.. Keep up the good work and don’t let this messed up world we live in ever get to you! I will be showing this to my sons this evening. Subscribed!
Thanks Lukas I enjoyed your farming video. Everyone here, the subscribers "Like" Lukas's videos, get that algorithm going for this channel. This boy deserves a few 100k subs or more.
I am amazed at young people who are outside learning and getting exercise nowadays after we hear of so many teens staying in their bedrooms all day playing video games and getting fat. You are getting experience and learning skills that will pay off your whole life. Congratulations.
Very educational for us who are not familiar with modern farm life. A lot of costly machinery is required. My great grandfather had a farm. When he died, land was divided among his one son and three daughters, my grandfather receiving the largest part. Grandfathers six children did work this part primarily for the family's needs. That generation was the last of the farm. Part of that land was sold to a man who built a few houses to rent. The rest was reserved for each of grandfather's children to receive a parcel when they got married. That's where I grew up with aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents. We had one huge playground with a stream and woods in which to play, and a gravel road (now paved & named in honor of my grandfather). Today those parcels still have the same houses with new occupants, and many more plus an apartment building surrounding them, and a church where the old farm house stood --20 miles south of Washington, DC, on US Route 1. Urban sprawl took the farms in that area. It's heartbreaking.
You're doing a great Job Mate. I bet your pop is well proud of you . If city folks just reolized how hard farm work is as they shuffle around the suppermaket.👍😉
That was some deft maneuvering with the bobcat. Sped up, it looked like it was just an extension of your arm, the way it moved, very cool. I can only imagine how many skills you develop growing up on a farm. It's actually good to know some things never change!
Great video good job of editing. Many decades ago I grew up on a family farm. This reminds me of some of the ‘fun’ tasks involved. At least you didn’t have to shovel all the manure out by hand. The equipment breakdown was a typical added touch. That was another common event. Lots of required farm equipment equals lots of stuff to fail. BTW that was probably hydraulic fluid leaking.
Glad UA-cam recommended me your videos, only just found your channel. I’m from the U.K. and got interested in farming after watching ‘Clarkson’s Farm’ on Amazon Prime. Really enjoy the vibe of your videos, very informative, educational and relaxing. Looking forward to more videos! 👍
Isn’t it refreshing to see a young man doing honest, noble work instead of hanging out on the street corner or becoming an “influencer?” There is hope for society.
It’s hard work and long hrs. 365 days a year. I worked on a dairy farm during my freshman, sophomore, junior and senior year. During the summer I’ll put more hrs in and saved up enough money to buy my first semi truck after I graduate from high school. I started my own trucking business at that time. Working on the farm was a learning experience for me and the hard work that’s involved.
I have always lived in a big city so it's interesting to see what goes on at a family farm. (enjoyed the cow milking and all the types of machines involved). 😀😀😀
Loved youre video have had some times on family farms and loved it i live in outer suburbs if it wasnt for health issues i would live on farm quite happily 🇦🇺🇦🇺👍👍
Self minded from intrction and bringing up. He knows how to bath eat and get to it. This young man is desperate need to make it happen. Lord bless us all and spread the poooo! Smells like money. Keep your powder dry. Love who you may love and be well. Onward 🌈 I'm proud of you.
Off topic, but means a lot for me: at 9;46 in the video, an absolute wonderful piano music starts. What artist is it? Can you give me a clue how to find him/her on Spotify or somewhere.

Just come across your videos and have been catching up on them. How about doing an "about me" video, tell us a bit about yourself (without giving too much away)
Typical farm work. I remember as a kid working on farms. Think about the direction being right for you. But try some other jobs too. Just keep it as an option for a few years and see what the options out there. Some walk away regretting they did. One of the things that will need to change is the black water and poop y hay spread shouldn't be done. It's a debate, but it caused an explosion of bubonic plague again.
Love to see a young man doing a great job, without whining. I feel like most off the people in this age is lazy and spoiled. also way to influenced of social media. Must say you are very handsome and hot as F...

Thank You and your Family for your service ,without Farmers we wouldn't have Meat and Grains to eat. The work of a Farmer is hard.👌

OH!!! I had written about cows before looking at the film or title!! "Calf Barn"!! I put the cart before the horse didn't I?? Old age to blame!!!
Do you have dairy cows? How many?
Yes 190 milking
Nice shots, don't like the Hilly-Billy music 0:43 😮 😢

One of the things that will need to change is the black water and poop y hay spread shouldn't be done.
It's a debate, but it caused an explosion of bubonic plague again.
It’s spread by rodents. So if everything is high and tight it’s not a problem.
😍
Augean stables
How do you handle the smell?
I’ve smelled it all my life so it doesn’t stink
was that a 7120 you were spreading with at the end?
Yup
What is the jazz piano piece that plays starting @9:45
I’m not sure
You should train them to use a toilet. You’d save a lot of time cleaning the floors.
