      Only way I'd improve this rock creek is to give it the 12" from the SL/Platinum, and a black headliner.

    I had one, honestly they are nice cars, but the transmission is absolute trash! If Nissan would fix that with the ZF transmission like they did on the new Pathfinder it would be an absolute hit.

      And the new Murano got the Pathfinder’s transmission too.
      They have no excuse to not put the same transmission in the next Rogue.

      I bought the new pathfinder instead of the Rogue, it has been okay so far, couple downsides: it eats trough brakes and tires, I’ve drove 72,000 miles in 3 years and so far is I had to replace the rotors and pads 3 times and the tires twice, also the AC system has been a constant problem, Nissan fixed it multiple times under warranty, but the issue kept returning, they replaced multiple parts of the AC system, its a still ongoing issue! luckily I’ve got the extended warranty with the car when I bought it brand new, having that said, I’ve seen the prices on these new parts that they had too use and it’s a ridiculous amount of money so if I didn’t have the extended warranty it would have been a lot of money out of MY pocket! So do I like the car? Yes, it honestly drives great!
      It’s a very smooth and comfortable ride, the car handles decent in corners for a suv, the engine is butter smooth and has plenty of horsepower to overtake somebody on the highway.
      Would I buy another Nissan after this one?
      No, It’s good but not as good as the other Japanse car brands.

    We just bought a 2025 Rock Creek edition in Boulder Gray Pearl several days ago. This color reminds my wife on the Brooklyn Grey BMW X3 M50. My first impression is its feels a little quicker than our previous rogue. Really have to watch your speed because it doesn't feel like its going as fast as you think your going. The steering is way more responsive compared to previous Rogues. I like the buttons and analog gauges because its less to fail compared to a digital screen. On the gauge cluster it shows the oil life expectancy at 8,000miles. I do not recommend running it this long for oil change intervals especially since it has a turbo. I would suggest no more than 5,000 tops but 3,500-4,000 miles ideal. Also change the CVT fluid every 30-35K not every 60K and it should be fine. We bought a factory extended bumper to bumper warranty through Nissan 8 years 100K because I do not trust this 3cyl turbo and with all the new technology in these car I wanted peace of mind for my wife. The cabin air filter is much easier to change out located in the glove box compared to being underneath the dash on previous model. We traded in a 2015 Rogue SV premium package with 117K MSRP $29,400 Trade in value $5,250. It was a great car for my wife. Hopefully this Rock Creek Edition Rogue will last a long time.

    The vehicle looks good...
    I watched another channels review which included some very mild off-roading/ dirt-roading. It appeared to do well.., for what it is.

Our AWD Mercedes GLA uses 93 octane and advertises 27mpg combined despite being smaller than the Rogue, and our lifetime economy over 37K miles is showing 25.1mpg. Nissan had to replace it, very disappointed that happened so soon, but otherwise no quality issues so far.

  • @BoopSnoot
    @BoopSnoot 21 день тому +1

    17:55 This is actually not true, if you give it gentle throttle it'll hold RPMs. In my 2 years experience, the transmission won't shift if RPMs are at or below 2,500rpm, which with normal gentle acceleration it'll just hold 2300 rpm or so all the way to your highway speed. If you give it more gas, then it'll start revving and fake shifting instead.
