Beautiful Music from Braveheart my22nd great Uncle my 22 Nd Great Grand father SirJohn I know now why I want to grab my sword and a kilt and grab that broad sword that’s a. huge heavy instrument of protection I recently found this out through Ancestry and DNA as far as the Wallace line goes it’s fabulous and thrilling to know they died for freedom in a horrible way I’m honored by the valor of the Wallace history I’m proud I’m connected even if it’s a very long time back..
To my Scottish brethren....I am a 5th generation American.... 68 years old... 32% scottish, 21% english, 10% norweign, and 10% jewish.... scotland feels like home...I am looking for an older Scottish estate with 7 or more bedrooms and at least 100 acres of land... this will be part of my legacy... a home and the trust to maintain it for the next 50+ years..
It is effectively two houses in one. The older part is the back of the house, covered in pink harling, which was built in the 18th century by the Sinclairs of Olrig. It was bought off the Sinclairs by my great x3 grandfather, whose name was James Smith. His son, also called James Smith, built the front of the house in the 1850s.
