I love how many people from different countries seem to appreciate Scotland and are generally complimentary towards us , I'd just like you's too know It's appreciated and refreshing that you's have a kindness towards our Nation, thank you's all ❤️✌️
I never knew how beautiful Scotland was. As a boy, I assumed (you know what that means) it was cold, snowy country, like images of the Highlands. I know better now. Maybe one day I’ll get to visit myself.
2 seconds in and I already want to live in the guard house. Plus it has a tree line driveway flanked with horses. That's my dream! There really aren't enough words to describe how exquisite this place is. How I would love to visit. What a treat to see...thank you for taking time to share. Love the music too!
This estate is one of the very few estates inwhich I would like to live in and one day, I will live in it. I love the space, the greenery around it. So beautiful!
Is their another video that shows what the house looks like on the inside? It's beautiful countryside I was just expecting to see what the house looked like on the inside.
It's something different than the rest of Europe ( not so many historical buildings survived after devastion of war) and it's undeniable pleasure to have it on the doorstep in such a good state.
I see the part saying it is a country estate, and there is the word "hotel", and a 4.7 star rating, so those interested should google it and find out if they can visit it! It really looks lovely and well cared for.
Wow what a breathtaking location! Really amazing, these recordings were really successful! Greetings from Germany and stay healthy!you have a New subscriber 👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
To my Scottish brethren....I am a 5th generation American.... 68 years old... 32% scottish, 21% english, 10% norweign, and 10% jewish.... scotland feels like home...I am looking for an older Scottish estate with 7 or more bedrooms and at least 100 acres of land... this will be part of my legacy... a home and the trust to maintain it for the next 50+ years..

It is effectively two houses in one. The older part is the back of the house, covered in pink harling, which was built in the 18th century by the Sinclairs of Olrig. It was bought off the Sinclairs by my great x3 grandfather, whose name was James Smith. His son, also called James Smith, built the front of the house in the 1850s.

Braveheart music. Beautiful
No, not Braveheart music. Some interpretation of it but no way this vid would last long on youtube if they actually used the score of the movie.
@@flybeep1661 it's a medley of pretty blatant covers of the Braveheart score.

That's from the soundtrack to Braveheart - arguably one of the most beautiful scores ever written. You should check it out.

I hate to say this, but I liked the cottage at the gate better than the main house. It look more castle-ish,
Great Video except Castleton is a village in England lol. It's Castletown that Oilrig is situated.

How to buy foreign or non resident person.
Must not be too great on the inside if all they show is the outside and most of it are wide shots and area shots.
The intro music sounds like poldark
Poldark looks like a beanie baby.
I just look, i can't clean up this building, quitely, no homes around, not really good.
Completely anticlimactic!!
