I’m a mustang owner but as an 80s kid I grew up watching the VR4s on the road in middle school. I’ve always wanted one. This is such a crazy nice example. I actually have found a guy that has several in his front yard he works on and I’ve always wanted to stop and ask him about the cars. Great work guys!

When I worked in Millington TN at an auto parts store. They had an annual 3000GT meet up at the motorsports park down the road. The first year I knew about it was a bunch of people coming in needing various parts for them. Which we didn't have at the time. The following year I talked to my manager and we ordered in the parts to keep in stock. The one that stood out the most was CV boots on the rear axles. No one could get those at the time so we just ordered in all the different sizes we could and just got them as close as possible. Not sure if they still do that meet up but it was awesome just seeing all the love for the 3000GT/Stealth in all the different submodels from base to RT and VR4.
Such a rad build by a super cool guy. Much respect!!! You hardly see any of these all done up. I have a feeling you’re gonna start seeing more now after people seen this.

Been thinking of going the same route with s13’s as you did with your 3000gt with the custom parts. There’s some parts in our cars that just aren’t made anymore and I’d honestly like to recreate them and share them. Thanks for the inspiration and the push. Best car ever made had a buddy that had a red vr4 That thing was fast!!! I remember doing about 110-120 on a 30mph with him. This thing is an absolute monster of a machine!!! Way to go man!!! You made it work and made it into something owners can also enjoy. Hats off to you!!!! Epic!

One of my uncles had a first-gen vr4 back in the 90's(i believe the color was 'Fuji blue') and it had all the bells and whistles. As a kid, I felt like a badass riding shotgun in that car...and I've been in love with em' ever since. The passion that Mitsubishi put into designing their GTO really shows, even when next to modern cars. It's a timeless design that really speaks for itself and I'm thankful my generation got to experience this era of Japanese muscle cars!
Totally awesome! Totally underrated 90s tuner. One of my favorites is 98/99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX and of course 94/95 Mazda RX7 FD with turbo 3 Rotor swap.

I'm 42. Legit my very first dream car was a VR4. Being from Texas I could never find one. But I did get ahold of its little sister the 2GB GSX. '97. But due to economic collapse I sold my baby. This is an amazing build and video.
I owned a black 92 gto TT in manual and that thing was a beast, lots of power mods put it to 450hp, 70-100km 4 wheel spin in 2nd. Wish I’d never sold it.

My dad and I built a 91 Stealth TT. 450 wheel. So hard to find anything for these. We live off 3SX. Great job on a great build! And for putting in the work for off market parts!

Iac valve might be clogged with deposits easy fix is to get a new iac valve and tps sensor
