i play music when I'm building things in games, and i was building a tower on me and my friend's modded minecraft server. and this song now holds memories of towers and good times.
With Olimar it's a more urgent tone (the beat, the rythme and even instrument shows it) we only have 2 week while in the main campaigns there is no limits whatsoever
I love the parallelism with this track, as it reuses the tutorial theme from Pikmin 3 in a way that is beyond simply for nostalgia's sake, but to create this subversion of expectations. Like, this is a tutorial theme turned into the final trial.
I figured it would, but it was super cool to see this track go from a lighthearted one to an intimidating one! Really fits with The Final Trial area track with one, where there was this happy melody that had a menacing piano and droning piano. Personally, Final Trial is more of an unnerving theme but this one did its job good imo!
I feel like if Giant’s Hearth and Primordial Thicket were in Olimar’s Shipwreck Tale. The Giant’s Hearth’s theme would’ve combined some parts of the Forest Navel and The Final Trial up and remix it. Primordial Thicket on the other hand would’ve probably remixed some of the Wistful Wild’s theme.
WHY DIDN'T WE GET A FULL-ON HOUSE AREA EARLIER?! When I make a Pikmin 3 Deluxe mod, it'll be focused on house exploration. Kitchen level, bathroom level, living room level, et cetera.
@@redpikdman the "near water" thing is a programming oversight - it's actually triggered by the geyser in the water, which is internally classified as an enemy
This is the non extended version, it’s just longer because the theme changes depending on what you are doing, like if you are in a battle or collecting a ship part, so this theme is all of them together.
The Forest Navel doesn't have a theme for Olimar's Shipwreck Tale because it's referenced in the final area's theme. Besides, this area has the least water out of any area in my opinion, so it wouldn't make sense for one of the most watery places in the series have it's motif in a dry area.
I like how this version is a little more on edge since you already know what's going to happen to Olimar by this point
I put it on 2x speed and now I'm just imagining olimar sprinting through my house and stealing everything I own lmao
the thievery
you should see the shipwreck tale speedruns
Do not accidentally Crush The Pikmin.
It actually plays sped up at the last day.
I'm imagining like thousands of purple pikmin just stealing my entire setup

Why are all of the good area themes hiding in Olimar’s Side Mode.
Because the campaigns soundtrack is going for and atmospheric approach while this is more inspired by the active melodies of the older games.
basically the music is more upbeat because you have a time limit (in days) while in the main story you don't
With Olimar it's a more urgent tone (the beat, the rythme and even instrument shows it) we only have 2 week while in the main campaigns there is no limits whatsoever
i dont like the atmospheric/ambient approach of 4's soundtrack and i am very glad olimar's shipwreck tale exists
That’s what I’m sayin

Off topic but,
I think The bosses of giants hearths would be Empress Bulblax and Crusted Rumpup
And Thicket would Be foolix and a new boss
Giant's Hearth and Primordial Thicket do have pieces of Forest Navel though
@@thewhomp14weird, i never really heard any of it references in those themes though

could u do the sun-speckled terrace (olimar) theme? thanks 4 ur work
It honestly feels as though the song has a sort of mocking tone to it
Because all of his efforts went to waste and he died no matter how hard he tried and just to wake up knowing time passed by years
wish i could've appreciated the complexity of this theme while actually playing the game. too bad the music is so goddamn quiet.
I thought that there wasn't area music while I was playing the game, I thought it was just ambient nature sounds

The audio balance is always kinda messed up without proper headphones

they're groovin 🌼
Is this The final Trial motif?
I dont think so
from 0:20 - 0:40, the xylophone(?) in the background plays the same melody as the chimes in the final trial theme
This gives me FreakyForms vibes
This ones weird am I missing something is it referencing to pikmin 1 or its a original track
i think its a reference to final trial
im pretty sure the piano in the beginning is the same as the one that plays when youre near water in FT

You can also hear the piano in the first game’s challenge mode, as The Final Trial in there has enemies.
are you gonna post the variations that depend if you have 3 or less of if you have 2 days remaining
