I had planted Kalanchoe once and died bcs of over watered. It's my first try so i just let it go and buy a new one again. Just today i start taking care of it again with a new care routine. Hope it will last longer. Thank you for the explanation and tips ❤
Something is eating my kalanchoe leaves. The plants are in pots in my balcony. I cannot see any insects or snugs. I already sprayed it with Neem oil twice. But the problem continues. In addition, the leaves are now sticky (not sure if that’s because of the Neem oil). I also placed cracked egg shells on the soil. What else can I do? Thank you. 11:36
Hi Pallabi, brown spot can happen due to fungal or bacterial infection. You can use any fungicide avaiable in shops to get rid of them or you can try baking soda or hydrogen peroxide solution.
Hi, my plant has soft leaves, and I am not sure why. I water it once a week, it is in a window where it gets morning sun. I don't know how to recover it or if it is possible to recover. Any suggestions? Thank you so much!
Hi, Soft leaves on a Kalanchoe may mean it’s overwatered or needs more light. Let the top inch of soil dry out before watering and ensure the pot has drainage holes. Place it in bright, indirect light for most of the day, and keep it in a warm, low-humidity spot. This care should help it recover.
Thank you so much my dad gifted me a starter plant and not knowing it was as succulent I planted it improperly. Mine seems to be over watered over fertilized and my dirt doesn’t have any grit.😬🫣 I’m glad I decided to figure out what the problems may be and how to solve them. I’ll keep you updated hopefully it’s not too late. This video was very informative.
thank you!! my kalanchoe seems to be overwatetered. i have been listening to what thr leaves have been telling me, and they are falling, lighter in color, and soft. i watered it about two weeks ago and it still seems to be dropping leaves. the flowers are all dry and crispy, making me want to water it, but im not sure how to fix it 🥺. i believe the flowers may have been sunburnt from direct artificial light. any tips?
@@leratoqueendahliamakgoba5809 hiii, she seems to be doing a little better ? she’s not dropping so many leaves i kinda have just been leaving her alone not manipulating her too much. and some days i do put her in the closet so she can have total darkness for at least 14 hrs because i heard they do need that too, but i haven’t been doing it the past 2 days, how is yours doing?
Thank you for this video. My plant has droopy flowers:( I'm not sure why...I am sure it wasn't overwatering not sunburning I also didn't notice any pests. Please help me
Make sure that all the necessary requirements are taken care of. Such as bright light, moisture, water, air flow, well-draining soil, etc. Could be not sufficient lighting. Check the soil also for any infestation.

I have yellowing of the leaves and they are falling off this happened during my transition from front porch to indoors I allowed the soil to be moist as if the summer rays would dry it out unfortunately that’s didn’t happen so I’m reporting thank yoi
hi Claire, you can save your Kalanchoe. It could be bacterial of fungal infection. You can repot your plant in a fresh soil and fresh pot and see if that helps. Also remove the leaves that have got black spots just to avoid infection to other leaves. You can use Baking soda solution or hydrogen peroxide solution to wipe down the leaves to prevent infection. Make sure not to overwater your kalanchoe.

Can you still save a kalanchoe when it is infested with tiny black dots, some kind of sickness or fungus?

I have a white sticky substance on my kalanchoe it's on the steam
It could be pest infestation. Mealybugs. Neem oil solution is the best for getting rid of any type plant pest.
