SPREAD THE METAL LIKE A PLAGUE!
Jewel cases are the way to go I hate those cheap paper like folding cases they get wrecked easily and don’t protect the album covers/artwork as well. Love your collection dude keep it up!
I’ve been saying it for years, you can replace a jewel case if it gets cracked, but once a digipak is ripped or worn, its done forever. Thank you!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack yeaaaaaaaa but they look SOOO good mmmm digipak….
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Sweet collection. I'm currently in the process of redoing my CD Collection. I've got some digipaks I wanna replace. One in particular is Dimmu Borgir's In Sorte Diaboli. I ended up getting a 2 disc digibook and the discs were in sleeves. A bitch to get the disc out. Fucking hate it. So I'm redoing that one. The last one I redone was AC/DC's Back in Black now it's in a jewel case.
Absolutely, I try very hard to avoid digipaks.
You and the rest of the world buddy
When Killbot uploads, you know it's going to be a good day.
You again lol
Aww
Watching this makes we want to go out and buy tons of albums lol
You should! I collect, and it is VERY fullfilling.
Its not about how manny its about ones you like 😊.
I love watching killbot, he is always so passionate about what he discusses. It is like talking to a friend that I dont have ya know?
Well said
That’s a bigass collection. You’re epic my man, keep doing what you do. Hail Metal 🔥🤘🏼
As a guy that wants to start a cd collection. This gets me excited.
Its awesome, searching and finding albums pays off big time
it's soooo much fun i swear, keep it up
I keep my CDs in a shoebox turned on it's side with the lid ripped off. It's inexpensive and doesn't look half bad.
>Be me
>Gen X
>Still own over 1,000 CDs
>Most of them burned
I also have a spotify playlist of over 83hrs of metal.
I own a total of 5 CDs, this video (among others) makes my desire for a huge collection very strong. One day
Thanks for getting me into Death a about a year ago. I'm sad that i'll never get to see them live but sincerest thanks anyway!
That's cool that your grandpa helped you build your turning shelf.
He’s a good guy
You have some of my top favorite bands in your collection:
Nine Inch Nails, Type O Negative, My Dying Bride, Skinny Puppy and Theatre of Tragedy.
Other honorable mentions are: Mindrot, TOOL, Ministry and The Project Hate
I got rid of a lot of my CD’s - I gave them to my brother who has one the sickest CD collections I have ever seen
This is the best cd collection
That tower is really cool.
You have a signed Gwar CD! That's insane, luckiest find ever. \m/
I've been looking for that Sons of Kyuss album for a while now. Still can find it for a decent price.
Think I bought it on ebay, $40
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Do you like the sludge/doom metal band acid bath also do you like shrum it was a side project of the bass player of acid bath audie pitre and do you like abuse they where like a cross between acid bath and old school death metal like obituary
Putrid is everywhere
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack I saw GWAR at Bonnaroo Festival in 2010. They played from 10 pm to Midnight.
I love TooL's AEnima Case and booklet. I never get tired of putting the different pictures under the case, and watching them move. I actually keep the Eye in the front, instead of the main cover. I think the Eye looks cooler.
I also have the eye as my cover
I guess I’m going to be the person that admits they keep the dude blowing himself for the band’s entertainment as the front cover.
@@freeparking301 That's using your head 🤣
L7 was what surprised me the more in here. Super underrated band
“You’ve made my shitlist!”
One of my favorite hardcore punk bands ever
* Pulls out donkey Kong album* ELITIST!!! 😅
David Wise is actually a really good musician and composer. He did music for a ton of Nintendo games, including Donkey Kong, Battletoads, Star Fox Adventures, and more.
Me: *admires and wants CD tower*
Tony: it costs $220 and I had to get a new lazy susan for it.
Me: *mind instantly changed!*
May sound like much, but it’s nice to not have to mount a tall wall-unit. It really saves some space. I say this, of course, after my last wall unit fell atop me with most of my albums on it.
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack hm, maybe. I don't have that many CDs right now (seeing most of my money has been going into buying comics, manga, other nerdy collectables) but maybe when I get more I'll buy one.
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Jesus! Did you get hurt? You have a ton of CDs.
@@chemistryofquestionablequa6252 That's a good thing.....
Bonus points for owning the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack. DKC1 and 2 have some amazing music, and also planted the seed for my love of electronic/ambient music. David Wise is king!
Third game and 64 have good soundtracks too.
i respect a man who listens and appreciates at the gates' early material
Really great taste, man. Special shoutouts to Drab Majesty and Daria.
It's always a good day when KillBot uploads
That cd shelf is amazing I’m currently just storing my cds on a wooden plank nailed to my wall
ghetto shelves are the best!
McKays is where I've found so many of my cds over the years great spot for metal 🤘
Hell yes
Jewel cases all the way.
And that's a kick ass collection and setup! 🤘🏼🎸🔥
Love the spinny CD rack with all the different genres!
I remember when we had a Mall with a Music Shop here in Washington. It was fun going through the CDs and Cassettes, looking for new music. I usually get my stuff from EBay, or preorder from various shops if it's something I want when it first comes out. The last preorder I got was Deftones. One of my favorite bands, and they're still going strong, IMO.
I am a teen and got my first cd 5 days back , and this inspires me to build a huge cd collection :)
Just started collecting CDs during quarantine. Wish me luck on my journey!
A couple years ago I had a job cleaning flooded basements. In the throwaway pile was a box of over 100 CDs including most of the discographies of the cure, the smiths and Depeche Mode. Such a great day.
Nice American psycho reference haha
Discovered a lot of my favorite bands through your channel! Pretty sick to see some Queensryche in your collection too! Mindcrime is one of my all time favorite albums, it’s a shame they lost their mojo after Promised Land.
Yeah, especially after DeGarmo left
Man. You are awesome because...we share the same opinion on Ozzy albums. I have always loved The Ultimate Sin most, and usually feel quite alone in that. Also, Mindrot - "They don't make music like this anymore." Boy, you said it. That album is very overlooked and underrated. Grind on, bro! \m/
Hey there Killbot Tony!! I watched quite a few of your videos over the covid lockdowns (love your humor man). Seems like you stopped uploading for a while and thought you moved on...glad your making more!! Then I saw the Exhorder reunion show video and realized you had walked right by me (I was also at the Exhorder show at Reggie's in Chicago!!). I remember you had a camera and had your signature grin (I remember thinking "now that guy is an Exhorder fan" -ha). That show was great...and it seemed like there wasn't as much moshing as everyone wanted to actually watch the legendary death-thrash band. I drove 3 hours myself...but I was used to it from going to at least 10 shows a year in Chicago between 2013-2019. -Devon
Haha! That was a great show. Thank you
I wish there were more cool kids in the world who listen to and enjoy GOOD music such as this.
I don't know why but you remind me of my grandfather.
He doesnt have much CD's but has a enormous cassette collection (approximately 200 cassettes), but he's not into metal at all XD
He mostly has salsa, tangos, boleros, bachata etc.
(Btw he's not dead c:)
Killbot, I subscribed because of what this channel is about. Also, My hair is long too. Not as long as yours but hey its to the bottom of my shoulders. Also, that collection is insane. Kinda jealous but not a bad bad jealous.
New upload!!!!
Although I am more of a -Core fan when it comes to Metal, was still very fun to see your collection. Good stuff.
Awesome collection 🔥🤘🤘🤘
Thanks for mentioning MCkays. I go to the Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga locations.
It's awesome to see that you're back on the videos again here! I missed your content for sure!
20:50 the Legend says that condom is still in that CD case
I love how you goes from obituary to oasis
“Today is gonna be the day…”
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack "that they're gonna throw it back to you"
Nice Expain cd. I know I really was impressed with your vinyl complete discographies in the past. Lost of great cds.
Finallyyyy I missed your vids Killbot
I have very narrow tastes - melodic death, doom and gothic metal - so it's an eye opener to see a collection like this. Thanks for the video.
Love how you say “MINISTRY” like you really love them more than life itself 🥀🥀🥀
The nintendo 64 mention made me subscribe to you
Glad you made a video. I hope you keep grinding
"over here we have Scream Bloody Gore, and here's the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack"
Nice collection
Man
At the time i have 109 cd and my parents think i have a lot of them
Congratulations on a large collection 👏🤘💖
Mckays is so awesome. I went to the one in Nashville and it blew me away how massive it is. Also nice collection and great video.
They should put one in Georgia, been spending a lot of time there lately
He's back, baby!!!
Your videos are great brother. It's encouraging to see young people pick up the flag for real metal and run with it.
I'm seeing your channel first time and i searched for your CD Collection video then you uploaded this video thanks (Bad English Problems)
Welcome to the channel!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Thanks!
You RIP KillBOT ! Rad Metal bro
I own the Judas Priest remasters, and I have not noticed anything wrong with them, except the bonus tracks are put randomly. Like a song recorded in 1986 might be on a record released in 1978 or something. But otherwise, I think they sound good, and they look nice when you have 'em all.
Not sure why “Prisoner of Your Eyes”-which was recorded during the Turbo sessions- was a bonus track for Screaming for Vengeance… putting the two versions side by side did it for me. Originals all the way.
btw, nice american psycho reference with the huey lewis and the news
HOLY SHIT YOURE BACK
I have just over 300 CD's, about 100 movies, a few hundred comics and 40-50 video games. I live by a code of never have more entertainment than you can enjoy in a year so it helps me keep everything condensed to favorites.
Hey! Glad to see you're back. Very cool collection, very neat and organized. Thanks for sharing
Great video Tony!
OML IM SO HAPPY YOU UPLOADED AGAIN! I love you and your videos!!! \m/
Hell yeah some killbot after work
Awesome
RETURN OF THE KING
Glad your back
That was cool and surprising to see you have the John Fogerty Centerfield album. I have and love that album too. That autographed GWAR is awesome too. You have a lot of gems in your collection 🤘
I like John and Creedence quite a bit!
You have a very impressive CD collection that’s very similar in size and scope to my collection. It’s always cool seeing someone else’s personal collection especially when they’re a massive music fan. I definitely agree that for the most part the original mixes are better than all of those unnecessary remastered albums which are really nothing more than a blatant cash grabs. I’ll take an original album copy over a remaster any day. Well, this was a fun video and I look forward to seeing the next one. Don’t be a stranger on UA-cam. Take care dude! 🤘🏻
The longest video I've ever watched in full of someone else's cd collection 🤣. Love Ur tastes brother. Ministry gotta be one of my fave bands too. 🤟🤟
Yay, New Killbot video!!
I noticed you're missing the classic Obituary stuff! I know the remasters suck...thankfully I lucked out and got all the originals back in the day, cept SWR...though I actually don't mind the remaster of that one, I think it sounds great compared to the other reissues in that series (plus I have an original LP ;D).
I have all of them digitally, but its a slow thing getting the physical stuff
No acid bath? 🥲
Nice collection, but I see a distinct lack of some Annihilator. Highly recommend checking them out if you haven't heard of them before.
Very pleased to see you have Kvist 'For Kunsten Maa Vi Evig Vike.' Obscure, but very solid black metal album.
A fan sent me that one, excellent album
Awesome collection man! i love seeing people passionate about the music they listen to.
Dude! I have that cd by Prick. It's so good.
you should do a video on the best (and worst) remastered albums! that would make a great video
My #1 for that is “The Downward Spiral” deluxe edition, though Motorhead’s 40th anniversary of their self-titled also rules
C.O.C's Deliverence is a masterpiece!🔥
Nice to see representation from the younger generation supporting physical media. Being an avid collector myself and for the reasons you ended your video with it is refreshing to see. Also appreciate your blinderless like of whatever you like. To much music out there to be a poser elitist.
my drum teacher from 6th - 7th grade was Dave Formula's son.
Awesome collection! I would love to see your Vinyl collection 🔥🤘
Babe, wake up new killbot and gorgor attack
would love to see that Grief video from you!
Brilliant collection! So jealous XD \m/
so sick. im not a metalhead but i am a music head and i love diving into your musical world man. EDIT: Im still four minutes in because ive been looking up so many of the things you shouted out. Bolt Thrower? Brilliant. Jake E Lee's Badlands is the hair metal ive been missing. Agalloch? WOW i cant wait to give The Mantle a serious listen. Have you ever considered a radio show Killgor?
Maybe if i had help or someone to bounce off of, it could happen
Love your videos dude! Nice too see your collection =)
I got a mental health ad before video ...
That American Psycho reference didn't go unnoticed.
Loved this video. Thanks for shouting out Napalm Death. Also, 'The Ultimate Sin' is by far my favourite Ozzy album.
kickass collection
Awesome collection! Over the years... I've been collecting music of any genre and hate it when thieves rip me off... Love the physical copies also... Thank's man for sharing your collection brother... Grind on! 🤘🎸🍻👊💀
NIN “And all that could have been” special edition is killer~I got it too🕯🥀🪦👼🏻🪦🥀🕯
Dude!! Nice to see a Disciples of Mockery mention ('Prelude To Apocalypse' is possibly the heaviest and darkest DM album ever made!!) I ordered it new from Relapse Records back in 1999 when it was released and bought another copy this year directly from legendary drummer Jim Roe (Incantation, Disciples of Mockery, WOMB, The Primitive) just to have a new sealed copy!! Yes!! Lead Into Gold!! I have my Lead Into Gold shirt on right now actually (got it at the very first Lead Into Gold performance at the Coldwaves Fest in Chicago 2014 with Godflesh!!...such a historic show!!). Nice varied collection man. -Devon
DOM is better than most Incantation albums I think!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Totally agree man!! You could say DOM "obliterates" most of Incantation's discography (ha!)...(Incantation uses the word 'obliterate' a lot -haha!!). No offense to John and Jill McEntee (they are such cool people!!). -Devon
Hahaha you drink Polor Pop drinks too rite on we have a lot of similarities in our kollections as far as the essentials go!! I need to get one of those shelves I have about over 700 CDs that I keep in container storages kinda don’t like having them the way I do plus I got movies and video games and have no room in my current shelf but some stand outs was that John Fogerty I LOVE CCR they are one of my all time favorite bands I need to get John Fogerty in my kollection also love Monster Magnet I don’t have that album I got Powertrip and Monolithic Baby!, love George Carlin one of my biggest inspirations I liked his 90s and 2000s stand ups where he got more edgier and outspoken loved it!!!
Hey, they’re cheap for the amount of drink they give you! Yup, good stuff
great collection, nice to see dystopia & Nausea CDs for someone your age I admire your taste in music
Somehow I guessed there'd be a Swans album in your collection, but I was surprised that Filth wasn't the album in question.
The Great Annihilator is still a fantastic album, though. Almost as great as your collection!
I’ll catch up with all their stuff eventually \m/
Yeah I was expecting filth too! great annihilator still great tho too
12:12 can we expect a review for the new maiden record? Maybe a short video, but they are a great band and this is the first album they have made while I’m a fan of them.
Great collection, don't injury yourself head-bangin'.
Thank you for the instructional video!
@@KillbotAndGorGorAttack Glad I could help you out!
