I'm liking what bc hyrdo is doing, except for doing away with free charging at their public fast charging stations, which is why I sold my Chademo adapter. however, it is very good seeing more charging places coming every month out there. The glaring gaps are rural BC especially in the north. Tesla and others are filling in some of the gaps nicely this year and next, but points north of Prince George are still sorely lacking. In the meantime, get yourself an Ev with the most range possible. I already have unlimited range with my home charging station, but when you venture on a road trip, the more range you have in your batter pack, the more convenient your drives will be!
Hi there, great question. The cost to charge at our EV charging stations depends on the type of charger. It's 12 cents per minute for 25 kW charging ($3.60 for 30 minutes) or 21 cents per minute for 50 kW charging ($6.30 for 30 minutes). EV’s are my go to.
Glad to hear it Jeanne!
We bought an EV about a year ago. They are so easy to have and there's charging stations all over the place. NOW we notice them.
That's great to hear!
Are the charging stations free?

Will taxpayers ever recoup the cost of these charging stations?
