- Everbearing mulberries are one of our least popular varieties we have. We hardly sell any of them simply because they are very small (the fruit) and mostly tart. So, we're putting them to good use this year by grafting Green shahtoot aka white pakistan, green mulberry, king white, etc onto them. Very easy to do especially if you use cleft grafting technique.
Why is it so easy?. Because mulberry cuttings take forever to dry out once cut. The longer the cutting takes to dry out, the higher your chances of being successful. Grafting is very easy to do. If I can do it so, can you!.

Here in Barbados in the Caribbean we put plastic bags over the scion & grafting union to create the greenhouse effect for buds to push & keep in moisture content too

I find cable ties or zip ties provides really secure grafting unions especially if the root stock is old & thick like yours shown in the vid
WOW you taught me something about grafting the importance of matching the two cambium layers as opposed to the inside part of the branch. The sticky gluey part of the electrical tape doesn't affect the grafting union?
Can you graft onto a 10 feet tall mulberry to change it? Or is it too established?

I have a question about the elongated white blackberry.
Is it possible that there are 2 varieties of that white blackberry?
For Australia I believe there is another variety of that white blackberry but is it called Australian green??
