Super helpful! I love that you have experimented with summer vs winter, and with soil vs pure vermiculite. (Result: winter is the time, and pure vermiculite or other sterile growing medium is the place!) And you explain all the steps AND their logic really well. Much appreciated!
Such an excellent video from someone who know what they're doing. Much appreciated. Now, to find a tree!
Exactly I summer pruned my Mulberry in August about 20 or 30 cuttings and they all started producing fruit after a couple of weeks so I hurried up and pulled all the fruit off hoping that they will root it's actually ongoing as we speak hoping that they'll root
We started in a potting soil with sand and ground soil; they are rooting, would you recommend transplanting in Vermiculite at this stage (four weeks)? (Mullberry in a 5 gal bucket covered with plastic)
Sand works just as good. We don't use it because it's too heavy and vermiculite is easier for us to get. I would keep them in your media. Repotting may damage the tiny new roots at this point.
Love your videos! Very clear and informative. Keep up the hard work!!
Your instructions and wisdom are very helpful. Thank you.
Excellent video! Answered all my questions before I could ask them. Keep up the great work.
Hi there,
I like your detailed information. My name is William Ho from Singapore 🇸🇬. I have been trying to buy Pakistani Mulberries but with no luck 😢. I have 2 other different varieties of Mulberries for 3 plus years but not the Pakistani variety. Can I ask you for some Pakistani Mulberries cutting if you can spare them? Oh ... I don't mind if you can sells me some. Thank you 😊 & have a nice day. God bless 🙏
Best to wait until this upcoming winter. I can hook you up with some cuttings.
Noted with thanks 😊. Much appreciated 👍. Have a wonderful day 😀.
Thanks for sharing the good information and writing on the comment section below helps us a lot for searching the right products. 👍❤️💚
Can aloe vera or honey be use to dip the end of cuttings as hormone replacement? Also getting cuttings that have only three nodes, how many nodes to go deep in soil in my case. Thanks

Hi, thankyou for the great video and tips. Do you think this process would also work for Morus Nigra (black mulberry) we have a beautiful 120 year old tree here that we want to propagate from
Love mulberry my favourite 😊
Thanks for sharing video 👍😊
Hi. Did you ever have issues with the mosaic virus on your mulberry? My 5 gallon plant seems severely impacted. Any idea on what my options are other than digging that tree out? Thank you!!
No cure for mosaic virus. No we have never experienced on mulberry trees at our nursery.
Thank you for your excellent video! My farmer friend down the road has a hedge of these to trim so I’ll be following your guidelines and sharing the bounty.
Those are humongous compared to what we have in Florida. Nice video.
I have berries trying to grow on the nodes already after 2 days of starting the rooting process on my Shangri La mulberries. Should I cut those off until roots have started to form?
Very clear and informative. Thank you!
I don't know much about pc's neither Instagram
Would this also work with Peach trees?
This is a HOW TO video. What was the actual success rate? Let's see your follow-up! Thanks!
i got update videos in the channel. Also if you follow on IG I recently posted an update vid as well.

This wet and dry rules, do they apply in very dry regions? I'm in the part of african tht get's very dry this time of the year. Soil dry very quickly by day. Can i start cutting is soggy wet mediums?
cuttings will work even when the plant is active (not dormant) so yes you can go ahead and propagate. It's just easier to do it when they're dormant.
you do not make any holes in the plastic bag for some drainage? Eva
No need
Where do you get those bags & what are they called?
I want to buy some cuttings from you, especially if they are already rooted, is that possible?
Ofcourse, but we don't have enough to post online for sale unfortunately. I will try rooting some this summer and see how it goes. I have bigger 5 gallons if you're interested.
Absolutely. How or where can I send you a private message so we can share information, and do business?
@@qctropicals please let me know how can we exchange information so we can make business
I'm interested as well. Just planted three black mulberry. Have two others. Three years old. Not sure what variety. Tried cuttings with no luck. Will try again. Would like a Pakistan mulberry. Located in Minnesota. I have hardy hardneck garlic if intrested in barter. Will pay cash also.
so easy to propigate>>>MUCK water draws the roots out quickly...I keep some on hand all year round>>>>>>>>Water or soil>>>its not really a big deal>>SO EASY either way>>>right now>>i am using sand>>>>>and root hormone is really not needed>>>>>willow also helps

Where do you get your grow bags?
Thank you for sharing your valuable knowledge. You gave me the missing link in rooting cuttings. Contaminated soil. I would like your opinion on using coarse river sand , which I would sterilize by heating it in the oven? Gratefully
I would love to buy pakistani long white mulberry

Hey what part of Arizona are you located in? I wanna buy it. I also live in Arizona
What month should i plant the cutting?
Plant rooted cuttings in ground or do the actual cuttings?
How long does it take to start fruiting?
if grown from cutting/grafted, usually the following season.
Thanks for sharing Bro. I subscribed
Do you have any of these trees to ship to Florida yet 😃😃😃
Do you have a video of how you trim them down to keep them shorter?
I have one I'll post in the next few days.
Excellent content. I will come by your nursery soon.
I just graduate from agriculture and I need experience . Right now I just need a recipe to make good soil. and how and what to feed the soil or plants or fruit trees, Thank you.
you can ask your questions on our fb group or instagram. I also offer virtual consults through our website.
Hello I’m in Tucson Az what month should I start making cuttings? What month did you make your cuttings? Thank you
If you're in AZ, wait until late January or so to make your cuttings.
Very interesting. I would like to get some scion cuttings to try to propagate by grafting to my white mulberry tree.
I have two large white mulberry trees that do not produce fruit. I can air layer some branches and use them for rootstock.
When is the best time to order that type os cuttings?
Thanks I like your video’s.
We sell scions on our website during winter months.
Hello my first time ,do you sale the plant ? I would like to buy some
i sell them locally yes
@@qctropicals thank you for reply , I live in GA can you ship ? I will follow your video to propagation
How can we order from you?
you can order from my website, link in the description. Unfortunately I don't have any small sized pakistans to ship at the moment. I have bigger sizes.
Thank you for share god bless
wow! i hope to have that plant someday...
I do have a question. Does the roots have any issues trying to circle in the bag or does it get planted before that can happen? Thank you
no issues with roots encircling bottom of containers. Only problem you'll have is they will try to grow out of the drainage holes of your container.
Thank you for sharing your wonderrful knowleage, it’s very clear and instructive, I love to give it a go but wondering if the climate it’s to cold for it.
Yeah!!! I like to get some, what's shipping cost to Maryland? many thanks
Did you still need some?
Can you please post a video of transplanting the rooted cuttings to bigger pot with soil?

@@qctropicals Hi, when will you post the update video? cant wait for it
@@gtl6 They're taking forever to root this year. Lost a month of growth this year due to the day/night temperature fluctuations we had here in AZ. I had to move the cuttings in the garage because the greenhouse wasn't maintaining temperatures at night. I'll post an update video this week for sure!!
@@qctropicals great thanks

Arizona
how can i contact you to purchase cuttings?

Tip :
When doing 'cuts' for cuttings, do a straight across cut under the Node = bottom.
Do a slanting cutting just above a Bud = top. Rain and water drops off the cut and it doesn't tend to rot off (!)
.... That way if you prune and cut stuff, and get interrupted, (forget!) The 'top Slants', the 'bottom is Flat,' to the ground.
Hope this helps all gardeners to make cuttings : ' the right way. !!! ' 🤗
Funny there so many theories on the angled cut. If it's at the bottom it's more surface area to root. If it's at the top above surface and angled it let's more bacteria grow and kill it. Probably best thing as he says here...right or wrong do something. If you cut straight across top what's the chance it's so flat that water stands. Even if you use a laser level
@@charliemagoo7943 Top slant, bottom flat is right. It is best to actually wait to cut the bottom at an angle just prior to planting though. You'd be surprised at how many cuttings perish due to horizontal top cuts.
Thank you for the video! Is the mixture contain only vermiculite and pearlite? Does it contain anything soil or coco coir? What is the ratio you use to make the mix?
100% vermiculite
It's not pakistan mulberry it's native Indian mulberry.
Sack the cameraman for messing up the sound by fiddling about with his hands on the camera
That's is indian fruits 😋
Can I buy a few scions from you as I live in South Australia and man are they hard to find!
