Thank YOU for reacting to this song - it's one of my favs, just because of the lyrical acrobats! Em is a wordsmith and/or a walking dictionary - no-one will ever match his rhyme schemes or his brilliance. Thank you again!👏👏

Just watched a ton of your videos. Love the channel man! I'm a huge Joyner Lucas fan and would recommend I'm Not Racist, ADHD, Revenge, and Forever. All great in their own way (I'm Not Racist should have gotten a Grammy but that's just my opinion) Keep up the great content!

    Hello,
As a new subscriber to your channel, I am quite estatic that you may be dipping your toes into Eminem. Watching many new reactors get into Eminem, I'd like to take a moment to give a sort of context to his music evolution. This is a brief explanation I've used in my personal life when people ask me about his music.
DISCLAIMER: As much as I consider myself a STAN, I am by no means the ultimate authority, I was born in 1990 and have followed Eminem since I listened to his Slim Shady LP and have seen him change throughout the years. I also do not claim to have all knowledge of the man, I'm just a fan.
I explain Eminem simply: There is Eminem BEFORE the Recovery Album and Eminem FROM the Recovery album onwards. Before the Recovery album, he was more raw, and if you can believe it more controversial. He was sporting that bleach blonde look and many of his raps center around his newfound fame, his relationship with his wife and daughter and his fights, both internal and external. He was breaking records with 2 diamond albums back to back and his controversies kept him in everyone's mind outside of music. He owned the decade when he came out.
The years leading up to his Relapse album is where cracks started to show as he was battling addiciton. More specifically, he had become addicted to pills during the filming of 8 Mile (a great movie btw). Around this time, many were considering that he was slipping and losing what he once had. He had also lost his best friend Proof, a few years before. Then came Recovery.
Recovery had the single Not Afraid, which promptly put him back on top. It was such a return to force that many consider that this was his comeback since he sounded fresh, bar heavy and still as sharp. He was overcoming his addiciton and as of April 2020 has been 12 years sober. Since Recovery, he has stopped with the blonde look but kept coming hard and sharp with all of his raps, reclaiming his spot as he was away for a while. He had released the Marshal Mathers LP 2 which is where Rap God comes from.
Then came Revival. Before the Revival album came out, he had made a BET cypher that called out Trump and spoke about the anthem kneeling by Kapernick. In the cypher, he draws a line and states that no fan of his should be a Trump supporter. The fallout from that reflected in the Revival album. The album was panned across the board from many critics and people had left him due to his anti-trump stance.
This was the start, as it continues to this day, of many critics dismissing, ignoring and calling Eminem washed as the Revival album was more politicaly charged than his previous work and some considered him being woke. While still selling well, the album was not well-received as many people complained that this was a new and unwanted Eminem and wanted the old one back.
Kamakazie was his rebuttal to the Revival criticism, he came at everyone and disparaged any notion that he fell off, or lost his talent or shine. I consider the album to be a quick one, it was short in the number of tracks and it was specifically geared towards the backlash he received from Revival. Many critics panned this album as well, dismissing it and stating that its just the same old schitck. I personally consider this album as a battle rap album as the tracks were aimed as attacks on everyone and eveything and as always killing every flow, cadence, and ryhme.
And we reach now, where back in January 2020 he releases his 11th album Music to be Murdered By. This is a far more nuanced album, it has a central theme woven troughout and many of his raps refelct that. He also has amazing features with Young M.A,Royce 5'9,Anderson Pak, Q-Tip and Ed Sheeran. Many critics are becoming old hat and still ignoring, and dismissing him, even with his latest album but that is fine. His fans, myself included, can see that this man is still killing it to this day and possibly getting even better with age. Numbers do not lie, and Eminem still sets records.
That is my "brief" explanation, I hope it can give some insight into his discography. I will conclude with 2 recommendations:
    1. Always use a lyric video whenever possible. This is a complete bias view, but many times reactors complain that he raps too fast or can't keep up and a lyric video will help with this. As his fans will tell you, it is a common occurrence to listen to his raps again and again as there many things that one does not get on the first listen. I don't watch you and other reactions to see if you get everything on the first listen. Pause, rewind as much as needed cause when that light bulb goes off and you get it, it is quite a moment.
My second recommendation is more of a list of songs that I'd be highly interested in your reactions. This is by no means a complete or ranked list, just some that are off the top of my head that showcase his range:
    Not Alike ft. Royce 5'9
Till I Collapse ft. Nate Dogg
    The Ringer
    Unaccommodating ft. Young M.A
    Lose Yourself
    Fall
    Cleaning Out My Closet
    Lucky You ft. Joyner Lucas
    Stan ft. Dido
    Saying Goodbye to HollyWood
    Greatest
    Cinderella Man
Love the way you lie ft. Rihanna
    No Love ft. Lil Wayne
Forever ft. Drake, Kayne, Lil Wayne
Thank you for your content and I hope your channel continues to grow.

You missed the part where he dissed women to the beat and yet they still dance and sing to beat. When does fiction and exaggeration bleed into real life? Most of the things he said are real and thats what makes people connect to his music
