Is he the Hitch of this film? Hitch supremacy still reigns. On paper this movie doesn't seem like much but making a romantic comedy that's not irony poisoned to death or infected with Judd Apatow was so refreshing that it surprised me. And a question. Have you guys seen the other Gosling classic The Nice Guys? Banger.
Nearly the entire bedroom scene with Ryan and Emma was ad-libbed. Ryan is very good at it. Steve says Ryan is the King of Charisma. The part where Gosling giggles after the fight was ad-libbed. You should really watch the speeches where Gosling got the Kirk Douglas Award this year.
