Rachel take two.....
Right here you have two things that are a huge turn-off for 99% of people
1. They compare you to their ex. Don't ever do that - either saying it to that person or even thinking it. Different people are going to have different qualities, good and bad. There are going to be traits your current partner does better and other traits they do worse than your ex. In the most simplistic terms, apples and oranges. They're people, and you're comparing them like they're objects.
2. They're unsure if they should be with you. That's not to say you should be getting too attached too quickly and thinking about marriage on the second date. But you're at least sure that, right now, in this moment, you're sure that you want to be dating them and no one else. It might lead to getting hurt. But closing yourself off because you're afraid of getting hurt, or because you "want to keep your options open" is never going to allow you to open yourself and allow a healthy relationship. Make a choice. Ride it out. If you decide it's not for you, then break up and walk away.
