Hi Rory, My Husband Scott and I own the Frewville Motor Inn. Thank you. Your review was honest and Well structured. I think I maybe the Cleaner who forget to check the Milk in the Fridge. OH DEAR! We are in a great location and do our best to Make this Older, economy style Motor Inn the very best it can. We listen to feed back and address issues as they arise. Safe travels.
This is an excellent review of the motel and the facilities provided as well as the access to food and other services which are nearby. The information regarding transport is very helpful especially regarding the frequency of the service. Thanks Rory for this very helpful review.
You can walk to the Akarbar hotel and the Frewville food land which has been voted the best supermarket in Australia, for fresh local produce. It may not work with those curtains, but you can use the hotel coathanger with the clips to keep them closed if there is light coming in. Also the bad shower, is sometimes caused by the water-saving washer in the showerhead, something the hotel should remedy.
3:13 Thanks for another great review, Rory. Particularly since the pandemic, the first thing I do is wipe down the door handles, light switches and remotes.
As soon as you opened the roo door i had dejavu. I had to stay in a few hotels/ motels in Albury last year. Worst one was located in a pub. No heating and this was in winter. The shower was awful too. I ended up having the quickest cold shower in my life in the morning. The year before i stayed 10 months in a hotel for work. In the end it felt like home as i bought a microwave and extra tv (wifi/bluetooth capable) and other things to make it more comfy for myself. Kinda miss the place as it had everything within short walking distance ( convenience stores/ bars / restaurants/ laundry )
Interesting hotel review, looks really affordable and reasonably close to shops which is always good. Look forward to the next one as I’m planning to head to Adelaide in late September 👍
For a Motel it was surprising how nice it was. The price point and location is excellent if you don't have a car its great to be able to walk to shops and maccas. Despite the milk in fridge it did look clean and well maintained. Thankyou to your GF for being in your review👍
It’s a great cheap motel that’s handy for the city. I’ve stayed there a few times, but not for a while. Looks like there’s been a big upgrade done.I generally stay on the southern side of Adelaide, and all those hotels along Glen Ormond Road are generally pretty good. I travel to Adelaide every 3 months for medical appointments. I’m always looking for a cheap, clean basic room, and somewhere where I am already close to the freeway next day to start the 500km trip home south.
Walking south towards the end of Glen Osmond Rd is an awesome Korean charcoal BBQ. I used to go there when I was living in Norwood. Now that I have moved into the country, dont come to this part of town very often. Thanks for the memories!
I think the light issue and noise for people walking past would have bugged me a bit. In covid-19 times, things like remotes do really need to be cleaned properly
First off, love this review. Would love to see reviews of upmarket hotels - I know they cost more, but give more escapism to the viewer (especially to people locked down in Melbourne like myself). Really interested in seeing Little National Hotel in Sydney for example - #1 Hotel in Sydney on Tripadvisor, and it looks like you can get rooms for $200ish a night.
You’ll see hotel indigo Adelaide The fantauzzo in Brisbane Double tree by Hilton in Perth etc. in the coming weeks/months I can’t review 10 hotels in one video 😀 And I do have family in Sydney and Adelaide so I don’t always stay at hotels
Yikes, you'd think in these times they would be more thorough with the cleaning, I think some places even cover remotes with plastic now. And the milk, although it seems minor for a hotel I think that's a really big error. During a pandemic I'd expect everything to be thoroughly sanitised in an accommodation place.
at least you were able to have normal parking if needed it. i guess an older style hotel will never be perfect price is good value other issues faced always come with the stay. the only thing you can do is to tell them about issues you had.
Be aware you used to be able to buy single use tickets on the bus before. Now you can’t, so make sure you buy a pass at a newsagent or the railway station. However the driver will still let you ride without a ticket. Currently trains do offer tap and pay though.
your hotel reviews look like more of a real estate😂😂😅😅 your detailing is spot on (jk)!!! good to see your reviews man u need more subscriber i dont know what youtube is doing.... btw isnt a motel review i mean u should rename it😅

Good review mate! Impressed with how thorough you are.
Thank you 😊
Actually looking for a good priced room in Adelaide so thank you! Looks like a winner for us 👍🏻
Love your reviews don’t know why it only took me now to subscribe.

There's no train station nearby when I went
Yep the location was absolutely great even without a car! 😁

Thanks Rory. Your motel review was very useful.
I am really enjoying your full and frank accommodation reviews Rory. I think you have found a good niche.

Yeah, Well problems with old motels
Real old school motel there Rory. Good to see they are still around. The milk left in the fridge is so Aussie not wanting to waste not.
Haha sure sure 😂
I mean it was empty

Loving your hotel rooms. I think I'll give that one a miss as I'm a light sleeper. Looking forward to seeing your next hotel review :)

Yes most certainly do cover remotes with plastic these days. I was surprised they didn’t do that here.
I’m from Adelaide. People generally stay at the motels along this road if they have come in from the country for appointments etc
Adelaide has nothing much to see because it felt like a mini LA
Nice video and also if u stayed in a hotel neared South terrace u can go on tram!
Great video mate😊
Thanks for liking my comment I really appreciate it😊
shower could do with a steamclen in the grits? plastic around tv remove?
It is nice they provide dishwashing liquid...you don’t see that often, unless you stay in a cabin in a caravan park.
Did you check out the Foodland down the road, has been voted best supermarket in the world before
No I didn’t!! I opted for the woolies 😳
I’ll check out next time !!!
when you first walk in the door whats the stand thing leaning against the wall ? my partner and I can never work it out
It’s luggage rack, so you can put + open your suitcase there, instead of putting it on the floor or on the table
@@RoryDing thank you ! we thought it was for adult activities ... uncomfortable adult activities
@@bicyclingbum1551 LOL what the? 😂
Are thinking about going on Qantas is new routes to Townsville
Not at the moment
Love the vids rory
Hi Rory, what is the new software you're using, and what type of camera do you use in your videos? It looks very compact.
Hi It’s Final Cut Pro x 😊
Very detailed review. I would stay in the CBD though if I was going to Adelaide. This place is a bit far out.
I’m gonna stay at Hotel indigo Adelaide in late June 😊
I've driven past this Motel many times. Pretty standard for the price. Do you use a UV light to check for biological matter?
I just ordered one
I’ll use it from the next hotel review!

That's pretty good! If I went to Adelaide I might come here. Did you film the Qantas flight from Sydney?
Nope!
@@RoryDing Ok then!
It’s just a normal Qantas flight
I don’t find there’s a need to review another Qantas flight atm 😂😂 everyone knows what a Qantas flight is like
@@RoryDing Yeah it is haha.
In NSW we have, as you know, the OPAL Card. Please advise: What method of payment is used in Adelaide/SA on buses, trains and trams? Thank you.
It’s called Adelaide metro card

Do you live in adelaide hence why you dont normally stay in hotels?
My gf’s from Adelaide
Stuck in Melbourne due to lockdown
Yes we are😥
Stay safe!!
Hi Rory, I live in Adelaide and I'm just curious as to why you stay in the suburbs and not stay in the city?
I paid $328 for four nights
City were over $450 on those nights
And Frewville is very close to the city
Obvious you caught uber
@@MitchellBPYao That was he's girlfriend
you should of stayed in the city mate...much better hotels to choose.
It's not bad except for the shower. I don't like pitch black room at night.
Have u heard about the Melbourne covid outbreak
First
I can't tell if this is a joke or not.
