Just made my first GameStop subs-missions as well. I went with my Star Wars CCG cards and sent in just about twenty. I figured all my $20 and under stuff can go to GameStop. They were friendly and able to help me with my subscription also! I would recommend
I just sent my first pea cards in with GameStop gotta agree it was really smooth process and telling you what is happening like when it got shipped when it arrived and stuff like that is good but I agree they could have just put it in the box and it would have been better.
I sent my first two submissions almost 2 months ago, the cards are back and are still waiting but PSA has been alittle slow with OK-ing the final process to allow the store to give them back, I did check them out tho back JP alt arts one being a 9 the other a 10
@fridge_cr295 man. That's a good eye. I looked at the card closely after you said this, and the dot isn't there. I think it was just glare from my light or something.
I just sent 26 cards through GameStop for my first submission. These were the best cards ive ever pulled over 15 years of collecting and they put all 26 in one bubble mailer. Not a fan of that but what was i supposed to do? Still have yet to get any type of notification that PSA even received them yet and this was 10 days ago?
@DerekL2005 that is awesome. I hope all of them come back as high grades. The updates aren't as streamlined as they probably could be. No worries, though. They are taking care of your cards. The process just isn't polished yet
@DerekL2005 i was super nervous at first as well, but I'm already 5 submissions in, so at this point, I'm really comfortable with the process. I just got my second return back, so I will be making a video on that soon.
Congrats on the return! I just got my first PSA return back from GameStop and it went really well. Mine did come in the PSA box unlike yours, though, so I'm not sure why your store didn't give you the box it was supposed to come in.
@@WolfOfWellsSt apparently they were back at the store at about 30 days, but it took an extra week to receive in the system because the manager hadn't done it before since mine was one of the first at his store.
@Trey50Daniel ahh gotcha! Thank you very much! Mine still show as shipped in the app and I dropped them off Nov 23rd. I know I'm being a bit antsy but I had hoped they would show as "psa processing" by now so id atleast know they made it to PSA safely. But thank you for the response!!
@WolfOfWellsSt my experience is that unfortunately there's still a bug or delay in the system sometimes, but I hope your cards come back and hopefully all 10s!
You don't have to worry about cards being shipped to your house when you aren't home. They ship them back via fedex so you just reroute it to a nearby holder like a walgreens or whoever is in your area that participates in the program and then you can pick them up at your convenience. They will hold for 5 days.
I’m in no way defending PSA. However, after taking a closer look with PSA cert verification pictures, the lugia appears to have surface blemishes on the rear(quite obvious on the pokeball), whitening in top right and bottom left left corner, also has something going on with the edge on the top right aswell. 8 was definitely the answer here. The Charizard has some very minor chips in both right corners, some surface blemishes on the back and a scratched holo foil. The Pikachu has minor whitening around the entire edge of the card, has a pretty big surface scratch in the middle of the card on the rear. Also, these are just what I see from a single angle still image, I promise I could find more deficiencies if I saw the card in person. I believe PSA does pop control, but not here.
@3rdpartyilluminatireptilia886 wow. I'm impressed. Very well done. These cards are older cards from my personal collection, so I knew I wasn't going to get a high grade on them. But very good observation
Whats the cost of doing 8 slabs. Im really starting to wonder why psa is so hype the cost is ridiculous online 25.99 a card. And i notice alot of the rares and older cards always get a 7 or 8.
Congrats on your first tens bro! I was wondering how the GameStop submissions were because it seemed more convenient for me. Thanks for that. How was the price if you don’t mind me asking?
The price question really depends on your personal situation. If you are someone who doesn't submit a bunch of cards throughout a year, then the game stop method to me is a better option. It's 16 dollars per card to grade. The benefit is that you don't need a subscription, and you can send as many cards as you want for the same cost of 16 per card. If you go directly through PSA, it will only cost 15 per card, but you have to send a minimum of 20 cards at a time, and you have to be a member. That means you have to pay for the yearly subscription. If you wanted to send less than 20 cards to PSA by going directly through them, then it would cost 20 dollars per card. Sorry this was kind of a long reply
Wish my status wasn’t stuck on shipped since 11/13. Makes me sad to keep refreshing and no updates. It’s 12/8 now. Really want to know my grades soon I hope but at this rate idk
@ yeah I hit that refresh 100 times a day and nada lolz. It’s a habit now. I really wanted them graded cause I was hoping it would help towards car downpayment but idk. I’ve been 2 years without one.
Complained because he got a bag and not a box. Game stop employees have to take it out of the box to verify the cards sent and to also check if it was damaged during shipping because they insure your cards. It’s their job. @Handlinyomommascheeks psa is the most used company. Most people prefer psa for resale. If you want to have some of your personal cards graded and have no plans to sell them, then grading with a different company like degree grading is a really good option.
@jasonbuenafe2893 yea. I wasn't a fan of that but other people have been having a different experience. Maybe if I was to submit more than the 8 that I did i may have gotten a box. I'm not sure. Some other people said they got theirs back in a box so I will need to test this out

@freddyespinoza144 That's awesome, man. Congratulations on that return. The quality control at pokemon is honestly quite bad. Other card TCG'S like One Piece and Lorcana EXT. seem to have much better quality.
I did something similar, 2 10's, 2 did not even get graded at all, and a bunch of low grades. Now on my 2nd submission of 10 cards I got 5 back as 10's and everything graded. You start to figure out what to look for :). I have a 3rd submission in and 4,5,6 10 cards each ready to go now. I hope that by the 5th one it will only be 9's and 10's. Mostly 10's.
When u submit just do it with diffrent people like u do 5 and u family.meber do another 5 so u get diffrent people look at them and also if u in the usa and have a psa close by go in person
