Jigging For Cod (Skrei) In Norway! 2024 Season - Episode 1! Clumsy Hands And Major Sea Sickness!

First day of the season, out testing the boat and equipment. Sea sickness is a troublesome friend, you just have to deal with it... Total quota of 27 tons of cod this season, will it be completed??
The Skrei is a unique kind of cod, spending the entire life in the vast Northern Ocean. Excluding a few late winter/early spring weeks, where the Skrei is visiting the coast of Northern Norway to spawn. This is the only time of the year where smaller vessels have the opportunity to catch Skrei.
