I was heavily considering rolling on the Melusine banner to get another copy of Muramasa and/or Melusine to get them to NP4 and NP3 respectively (funnily enough, they are the only 2 5* I have above NP1, and I pulled 2 Melusines with only like 200sq on the last banner). But, in the end, I decided on the, generally much more useful, Morgan banner, and I actually got Morgan.
This is such a great way of doing GSSR analysis. I was torn between the two banners you put at the very top, so thanks for retroactively justifying my decision to go for the banner where Qin Shi Huang was my only real miss! (So of course I got Qin Shi Huang.)
I rolled on the Oberon banner aiming for the fairy king and I had a solid reason to be happy no matter who I got on that one. I surprisingly got Oberon so happy on that.
As a Kiara simp whose cult of 700 sw application was just denied last month so I obviously went for arts extra where only bad hit for me was summer kama (already have heavy invest np1 spish). I'm happy to announce that I have joined summer cult and even got Astarea as a happy surprise with her. Now saving for ooku main interlude kiara banner.
After 3 years and reviewing the value of getting anyone else on her GSSR, Skadi finally came home to my main acc. Though we’re getting Ruler this summer, I absolutely required her for my Brochilles to truly shine!
I got super lucky and rolled both Castoria and Shi Huang Di on the GSSR. I am glad I was able to finally get Castoria since I joined right after her most recent banner ended.
Lol, I rolled the Despair banner and won by getting OG Okita. I've been wanting her since her 1st banner in Year 1. Too bad I couldn't get Poster Girl. But yeah, Sabers are by far my weakest class. The only good Sabers I have are ST Arts, so Okitan would've been good there too. I was considering gambling for Melusine, but the odds were too low for me. Honestly, I almost tried for NP4 Spishtar or Kama. My dupes were too spread out for comfort.
Semiramis from Apocrypha is what got me into FGO in the first place. So rolling her banner while aiming for my favorite character Morgan was always going to be a win for me. I ended up getting the rainbow roll for Semiramis AND a double sided gold spark Ivan. Mission failed successfully.
Too many duplicate prizes for me on the Castoria banner, so I rolled Summer BB banner because I had nothing from it. Got cutest daughter (Abby), two Gorgons, CasCu to NP5, Bedivere to NP4. Dang good haul, I'd say.
I took the gamble and did the Melusine banner. But all that came was the void herself. At least Koyan Dark came home twice, with a Taigong spook chaser.

The Arts Knights Banner had a massive booby prize in Beni Enma (she’s already NP5), but I’m a gambling man and took that risk. Walked home with my first Melusine, who dodged my earlier attempts at rolling, as well as my first copy of the Cope Scope.
One small knock against Musashi up there. Ever since his upgrade, Ceasar actually matches Musashi's NP damage at *equal* NP levels, if all his pre-NP buffs hit, and obviously he's much more easy to get NP5 with. What's more, he maintains his lead when considering two copies of the relevant color supports. Obviously, Musashi's kit utility makes her more suited for harder content that goes beyond just NP nuking something since Ceasar's skills are all horribly outdated pieces of jank, but in terms of just hitting a big single NP burst, Ceasar 2x Skadi does win out over Musashi 2x Koyan, at equal NP levels. (Though it does need to be said that if Ceasar isn't at half HP or getting some kind of external buff chance up, there is an upwards of 20% chance that he falls just short or her instead)
These decisions are exponentially harder if you're already a whale with a well rounded account imo. Case in point: I have so little need to actually power pick that I just simply tried to get NP2 Okuni (got NP3 MHXA instead). This decision comes from someone who already has every limited support and some scattered NP5s (including NP5 Arts loopers) in almost all the available banners.
I ended up rolling on the Castoria GSSR. I've already got a Castoria and the Emperor of China, but I've got neither NP5'd so I figured that even if I got a repeat, I wouldn't be disappointed. Ended up getting Reines, who I look forward to utilizing in the future.

So of course I got 'stolfed'. Not the absolute worst result, that would have been NP2 for the Shishou I never use, but still sucks that I missed with my 60% shot. Worst part is, I didn't get Fluffy either, so this New Years event was a double disappointment.
Exact same situation. Despair banner was the only one I had no risk of a dupe on, and I'd have been very happy with anyone except the Monster Energy marketeer. So you know how that goes.

It’s fitting that you put the quick Knights banner in despair, cause I felt angry when Astolfo. I was debating between this and buster Cavalry but decided quick since I was fine with most of the banner. Np4 Scathach would be cool, I like both Okitas’, and I’ve really wanted Sei since she appeared. I was fine with anyone but Astolfo. Which sucked when the one he showed. While it’s my fault for picking the bad banner, it still stings. Because of that, he’ll be sitting at level 1 for the rest of his existence.
It was my first GSSR (Quartz price in my country are very high so I normally avoid buying) I rolled for Moriarty in the buster knight banner, I like him very much, and if I didn't get him the only ones that I wouldn't be happy pulling would be Arthur and Bryn. didn't got Moriarty, but ended up with Ishtar so i'm happy with this pull anyway.
Super helpful guide and the right format to gauge luck… dupes of almost all major supports kept me away from np support banner. Pulled buster for np2 caster nero… at least she is koyan compatible - not thrilled but pleased.
I flipped a coin to decide either koyanskaya or oberon. The result led me to oberon, so i took my chance and actually got him, and i would have been fine to get anyone from him banner since i had no one from it

I run the 80% np hp craft essence so she gets her np off which means an overcharge for Summer Kama. Once her np gets upgraded this month she will be even better. Still, this does mean I have to summon for Castoria on her actual banner. Was really hoping to avoid that.
Same situation but I started about 3 days after Castoria's last banner so I was always expecting to have to wait a year and been saving. Nice to have at least some support in the meantime.

An amazing guide. I was planning to roll for Nobunaga to get more copies bcs yes. Then after seeing this the risk of getting another BB Summer or Amakusa shirou is just too big risk so instead i will be rolling for Skadi banner to either get Merlín wich is still a great Support or even better to get Skadi since for some reason i have alot of quick servants yet, no skadi so it will be quite nice if i could use the 100% of their power like i did with the Buster ones thanks to Koyanskaya
I went for melusine’s banner, since I have a very old and well put together account (been playing since launch) and so the only real loss on it was Saber Shiki. Getting NP2 of Shirou or Melu wouldn’t have been so bad, and i didn’t have any of the other ones I ended up getting squirtoria so I’m really happy with my decision. No more Chloe or Robin Hood for me!
Went for support 1, and got the funny Da Vinci! For a new account like mine (I literally strated on the tail end of 2023 to finally get astolfo) it's probably not the best, but she's fun and cute to hang with.
Was hoping for Skadi but I got my first Merlin instead. Can't complain. Followed it up with a single ticket Koyan Dark. A good start to the year from the gatcha gods.
I had no choice but to roll Oberon, got him. Would NOT suggest relying on it but I was in desperate need of getting him after missing him since he came out.
I got a Dantes spook, which really pissed me off cause he was who I got in the GSSR last New years, thank god I got Okuni during GudaGuda, cause if I missed out on her and Douman I'd have been inconsolably angry.
I rolled the quick extra banner simply because most of the other banners would have given me undesirable dupes. Would have preferred a Taira or maybe a 3rd Dantes, but Caren is far from the worst I could've gotten.
Went with the Quick extra as it has the best chance for a new servant (Caren, Douman or Voyager). Plus, extra NP for Taira, Melt or Dantes is nice. Ended up with my 3rd Molay, darnit.
I pulled on the Muramasa banner for a different reason. My equation was #of hot guys-Kiara/Musaahi faces(they will arrive on my account both NP3 and not a whale) x new units and that banner with Saber Shiki would be my only repeat gave me best odds. I got Squirtoria, though I would have preferred the guys. However I have to defend Shiki a little. I prefer stand alone AOE units and she does a good job. If you're only metric is three term looping sure but Castoria Fergus and Shiki do a good job. Use first round to raise NPs and Fergus and Shiki can clear farming rounds just fine. But I'm thrilled cause I got my first foreigner for Koyanskaya with only the free quartz given
I rolled for Super Orion, because that bastard keeps dodging me. SOB dodged me again, performed a Kawarimi with Merlin, so my Perv Caster is at NP3 now.
I went for the arts extra banner definitely for gameplay reasons and not because it was a guaranted waifu banner. I got a third copy of summer Kama, which was my best case scenario.
ended up with a sherlock. not my primary pick but also didnt end up as a dupe orion. so cant complain.. the invul pierce support gonna be sweet in the long run
I was heavily considering going with Buster Knights #1, since Moriarty is the only unit on this whole thing that I don't have. But I could feel deep in my gut that if I did go with that one, that I'd get spooked by Arthur...again. And I just don't think I can handle that kind of pain. So I ended up going with the super safe option of Arts Extra, since even the worst outcome on that ( Summer Kiara ) wouldn't have been a total disappointment. Got my 3rd copy of Hao-Hao, pretty happy with her.
Nice video and while I mostly agree with everything, I think you undervalue Nobuvenger a bit. If you have the necessary components to enable it, having a all purpose buster looper that only needs a 50% starting charge to do her job is highly valuable. While Melusine is better in general for a variety of reasons, you still gotta have someone for them sabers.
It was curtains for me. I rolled on Support NP One, I got QSH, the one servant I didn’t want from that banner. I guess that was payback from the time where I got Melusine, the one servant I wanted from that lancer banner back at the anniversary GSSR. Jinxed myself fr 🚶🏼♂️
I rolled on the Arts Cavalry banner since that was pretty much the only one where I had none of the Servants yet. Got Summer Musashi out of it, which I'm very satisfied with. Personally I would have preferred Murasaki since I really like her character and design from RAITA, but Musashi came in right after.

I got got this GSSR lol. Most of the banners were terrible for me, with either too many servants in the pool or just having too many servants I didn't want. I ended up rolling on the Buster Knights 2 one because while I would like Sigurd or Gilgamesh, there was only 1 servant I did not need on that banner. So Naturally I got NP6 Tamamo Lancer lol
You see, the issue is my desire for Summer Oki-tan (who i failed to get during the summer) outweighs my sanity, and im rolling on the despair banner cause im out of my mind
Already have Castoria and Crane, so went with the Skadi banner because I don't have any of those servants and ended up with Himiko. Overall pretty happy.
I went for the quick extra banner, as there were no servants there that I would be super disappointed with. My main wants were Douman or Molay (I like Molay aesthetically, don't care that much about her gameplay). I got Caren and Melt, which were both new servants, so that was a solid outcome for me.
Rolled on Art 3 Knights since it was loaded with servants I liked but hadn't pulled and got double Ryouma and Oryou for a new NP2. My Vritra and Summer Melt are both NP1 while Perc is NP0, so landing them at NP2 takes Ryouma and Oryou from a fun character pull to a potentially useable arts lancer looper should the need arise, and it's not like Gudaguda events aren't an annual thing.
Rolled for Castoria, got Mothman. At least I legitimately didn’t have any servant on the banner so I was at least able to get something new! …but darn it, I need Castoria…
I went for Dantes banner bc either I get someone I don’t already have, or another NP lvl on a servant I love 💗 as of right now, thanks to that banner, Voyager is sitting pretty at NP3 alongside my husband.
On decided to go for the Skadi banner since I have more aoe quick loopers than arts, also I don't really like Miss Crane or Van Gogh that much which is I didn't go for Castoria banner. I got Himiko, which wasn't my main target, but I'm quite happy to have it since I have plenty of buster servants that can use her support, which is nice.

By the end of the day it still depends on who you need, which ones you still don't have, and if you need duplicates for higher NP damage.
Ended up snagging Merlin from my GSSR, so I'm now able to run the Immortal Team perfectly self sufficiently

The powercreep with Takeru is tough as a Shirou/Muramasa fan. Happy to save for Takeru when they come to NA.

I got Summer BB after several GSSR attempts in the past 2 years... It took a while, but I finally got her... The year is starting out good so far.

I went for arts aoe extra, cuz I figured that the ones I already had were ones I wanted dupes of, and I wanted basically wanted all the ones I didn't have. I ended up rolling summer Kama and summer kiara, of which I had np1 summer kama, so I'm pretty happy.
GSSR was goofy for me. Rolled in the Melusine banner hoping for Ryougi, so shooting for the lower end side of things tier wise but mostly cause KnK is pretty cool. Turns out I got Melusine
Pulled on despair for the sole purpose of winning any of the two Okitas. I got Saber Astolfo but, at least, that also means I have a back up quick saber.
Well castoria banner it is! Really helps that literally every other banner is full of spooks for me.

Then after seeing this the risk of getting another BB Summer or Amakusa shirou is just too big risk so instead i will be rolling for Skadi banner to either get Merlín wich is still a great Support or even better to get Skadi since for some reason i have alot of quick servants yet, no skadi so it will be quite nice if i could use the 100% of their power like i did with the Buster ones thanks to Koyanskaya

Rolled on the Quick Extra banner and got Babu and Goat. Both new, so I can't complain.
I choose the most safest banner, which is Art Extra, all the servant available there are generally good
I went for melusine’s banner, since I have a very old and well put together account (been playing since launch) and so the only real loss on it was Saber Shiki. Getting NP2 of Shirou or Melu wouldn’t have been so bad, and i didn’t have any of the other ones
I ended up getting squirtoria so I’m really happy with my decision. No more Chloe or Robin Hood for me!
Went for support 1, and got the funny Da Vinci! For a new account like mine (I literally strated on the tail end of 2023 to finally get astolfo) it's probably not the best, but she's fun and cute to hang with.
Was hoping for Skadi but I got my first Merlin instead. Can't complain. Followed it up with a single ticket Koyan Dark. A good start to the year from the gatcha gods.

I had no choice but to roll Oberon, got him. Would NOT suggest relying on it but I was in desperate need of getting him after missing him since he came out.

Skadi is the money (even though green meta is long gone). Got a bonus Lan Ling and surprise Asclap, too.
I got a Dantes spook, which really pissed me off cause he was who I got in the GSSR last New years, thank god I got Okuni during GudaGuda, cause if I missed out on her and Douman I'd have been inconsolably angry.
Can't complain about my choice since it gave me Big Bro Merlin finally

I rolled the quick extra banner simply because most of the other banners would have given me undesirable dupes. Would have preferred a Taira or maybe a 3rd Dantes, but Caren is far from the worst I could've gotten.
Went with the Quick extra as it has the best chance for a new servant (Caren, Douman or Voyager). Plus, extra NP for Taira, Melt or Dantes is nice. Ended up with my 3rd Molay, darnit.
I pulled on the Muramasa banner for a different reason. My equation was #of hot guys-Kiara/Musaahi faces(they will arrive on my account both NP3 and not a whale) x new units and that banner with Saber Shiki would be my only repeat gave me best odds. I got Squirtoria, though I would have preferred the guys. However I have to defend Shiki a little. I prefer stand alone AOE units and she does a good job. If you're only metric is three term looping sure but Castoria Fergus and Shiki do a good job. Use first round to raise NPs and Fergus and Shiki can clear farming rounds just fine. But I'm thrilled cause I got my first foreigner for Koyanskaya with only the free quartz given

I got a third copy of summer Kama, which was my best case scenario.
ended up with a sherlock. not my primary pick but also didnt end up as a dupe orion. so cant complain.. the invul pierce support gonna be sweet in the long run
I went with Buster Calvary 2 since all of them are pretty good (to me at least). Ended up getting First Hassan which is nice.
I was heavily considering going with Buster Knights #1, since Moriarty is the only unit on this whole thing that I don't have. But I could feel deep in my gut that if I did go with that one, that I'd get spooked by Arthur...again. And I just don't think I can handle that kind of pain. So I ended up going with the super safe option of Arts Extra, since even the worst outcome on that ( Summer Kiara ) wouldn't have been a total disappointment. Got my 3rd copy of Hao-Hao, pretty happy with her.
Nice video and while I mostly agree with everything, I think you undervalue Nobuvenger a bit. If you have the necessary components to enable it, having a all purpose buster looper that only needs a 50% starting charge to do her job is highly valuable. While Melusine is better in general for a variety of reasons, you still gotta have someone for them sabers.
Went arts extra for more Hokusai copies. Didn't work out, but being NP2 does help og Kiara out a lot. I use her to farm a lot of stuff.
It was curtains for me. I rolled on Support NP One, I got QSH, the one servant I didn’t want from that banner.
I guess that was payback from the time where I got Melusine, the one servant I wanted from that lancer banner back at the anniversary GSSR.

I rolled on the Arts Cavalry banner since that was pretty much the only one where I had none of the Servants yet. Got Summer Musashi out of it, which I'm very satisfied with. Personally I would have preferred Murasaki since I really like her character and design from RAITA, but Musashi came in right after.

Just got skadi this Christmas banner, so I decided to do the taira banner as celebration. Was hoping for taira but got Dante’s who was my second choice. Good luck everybody happy new year.
I got got this GSSR lol. Most of the banners were terrible for me, with either too many servants in the pool or just having too many servants I didn't want. I ended up rolling on the Buster Knights 2 one because while I would like Sigurd or Gilgamesh, there was only 1 servant I did not need on that banner.
So Naturally I got NP6 Tamamo Lancer lol
You see, the issue is my desire for Summer Oki-tan (who i failed to get during the summer) outweighs my sanity, and im rolling on the despair banner cause im out of my mind
Already have Castoria and Crane, so went with the Skadi banner because I don't have any of those servants and ended up with Himiko. Overall pretty happy.
Rolled on the Merlin banner where the only bad hit for me was Sherlock Holmes...and got NP2 Himiko. No complaints here.

Got another copy for MHXA, I'm pretty happy about it. Maybe I'll 120 her if I get lucky with another copy in Valentine's banner.
I went for the quick extra banner, as there were no servants there that I would be super disappointed with. My main wants were Douman or Molay (I like Molay aesthetically, don't care that much about her gameplay). I got Caren and Melt, which were both new servants, so that was a solid outcome for me.
Rolled on Art 3 Knights since it was loaded with servants I liked but hadn't pulled and got double Ryouma and Oryou for a new NP2. My Vritra and Summer Melt are both NP1 while Perc is NP0, so landing them at NP2 takes Ryouma and Oryou from a fun character pull to a potentially useable arts lancer looper should the need arise, and it's not like Gudaguda events aren't an annual thing.
Rolled for Castoria, got Mothman.

I went for Dantes banner bc either I get someone I don’t already have, or another NP lvl on a servant I love 💗 as of right now, thanks to that banner, Voyager is sitting pretty at NP3 alongside my husband.
On decided to go for the Skadi banner since I have more aoe quick loopers than arts, also I don't really like Miss Crane or Van Gogh that much which is I didn't go for Castoria banner. I got Himiko, which wasn't my main target, but I'm quite happy to have it since I have plenty of buster servants that can use her support, which is nice.
Went into the Morgan banner and got Ivan, at least I’ve gotten my elephant.
