Have you ever checked out the Rowin Noise Killer Noise Gate? It’s a pretty affordable Noise Gate pedal and retails on amazon for $32.99 and used is even cheaper. It’s true bypass and also has a little switch to toggle between hard or soft effect noise reduction. It even has a full metal casing. I hear a lot of good things about it especially given how affordable it is.

I have to say that the house of Fricker outdid themselves. I’ve used the ISP Decimator, the Boss NS-2, the EXH Silencer, TC Iron Curtain & Sentry, MXR Noise Clamp, ZVex Loop Gate and the Rocktron Hush. The Cock Blocker is the best one I’ve ever owned, at least for my purposes. The only other one that I still have is the Boss NS-2 and I’ve modified it with the kit from Monte Allums.
