That Madeline Bell record looks awesome. I remember that song. I knew all of Janis's friends drove Porsches but was not aware that she had one of her own. All those albums looked interesting. Annette Peacock has a great album cover. Thanks for showing the records Chris!
Thanks Chris for contributing to my thread. Showed some cool stuff where the majority of it is new to me. Fantastic! Have enjoyed your channel for some time, and added this video to my channel playlist. Have a great weekend 😎
Hey now Chris👋🏻what a great combo of threads.....that info you laid out about Marilyn was quite interesting, ended up working in a bookstore how fitting(why did I say that?) hmmm gut? Intuition!? I I I dunno 🤨😳 yum white label promos
Chris, when 3 threads collide, the lamb shall lie down next to the lion. I never realized the McCoy Tyner influence on Marilyn's playing style, until you read her quote. I was always puzzled by the photo of Crispell eating a piece of pizza or a danish. The larger photo, in black and white, is much better. John Betsch played for years with Steve Lacy, he took over the drum chair after drummer Oliver Johnson was found dead in a park in Paris. I love the connection between Marilyn Crispell and Annette Peacock, we've talked about that before.
Very interesting records, Chris! I love the Booker T. And Priscilla records. I just brought one home a few weeks ago and really enjoy it.

Thanks Ed. You had a really good idea for thread, so I was glad to participate.
Ed, I just realized that I forgot the female artist that I had seen live, which would have been Linda Ronstadt around 1974. Sorry, Chris
@christopherkibler511 No worries Chris! Wow...Linda Ronstadt live back in that time period must've been great. The 70's were prime Ronstadt. 😎🎶
Hi Chris - Some really intriguing records in this video. Your videos are always educational!
Brian, I think that you are exaggerating a bit but thank you.

Thanks Lis. The whole back cover was an interview with Marilyn. Take care, Chris

Michael, I was not familiar with John Betsch.
I'm still trying to figure out what she is eating on that cover. Hot dog? Toast? Something about that violin that just sounds haunting!
I'll go with toast. Thanks
great entry, need that crispell, she's a force on the piano not unlike cecil.
