Sir i20 diesel 2011 oil change krne ke pahle light nahi thi. Lekin oil and oil filter change krne ke baad oil pressure ki light ary idling pr. Thodi res dene pr chali jary. Oil pressure sensor cleaning kea fr bhi solve nahi hua. Mobil super 5w30 oil dala tah. Usse to koi problem nahi hogi oil grade se? 3 garages pr dikha chuka hu. Kea kro sir? Please reply.

Yes you can use 5W 30 any brand oil. Synthetic oil is not at all required for our normal cars , infact normal oil is best for our normal cars. the only thing wihich is required is we should change oil regularly with replacing genuine oil filter

Hi bro , I have beat diesel and it is giving only 11 kmpl , also the engine is not accelerating from idle rpm from 3 rd gear , I need to downshift and raise the rpm and then upshift again, after 2000 rpm it’s is flying away in higher gears as well, service center guy is saying it’s related to break booster . सब बातें की लेकिन ये नही बताया की ये गाड़ी पेट्रोल है या डीजल?फ्यूल फिल्टर बदली करने से लगता है डीजल गाड़ी हो सकती है। जहां तक ऑयल ग्रेड बदली करने की बात है तो जिनको इंजन की समझ नही होती वह लोग बोलते है की पुरानी गाडी को ३० की जगह ४० ग्रेड इस्तेमाल करो जो सरासर ग़लत है। गाड़ी का इंजन डेवलप करते समय ही कंपनी उसका ऑयल ग्रेड तय करती है। इंजन में जो ऑयल सप्लाई करने की बारीक बारीक लाइंस होती है, उसमे से बिना रुकावट ऑयल तभी जायेगा जब कंपनी ने तय किया हुआ ऑयल डाला जाएगा। मोटी ग्रेड का ऑयल उसमे से उस रफ्तार से फ्लो नहीं होगा जिस रफ्तार से जाना जरूरी है। कई मोटे दिमाग के मैकेनिक बोलते है की चाल जायेगा जो गलत है। ऐसा करने से इंजन पर ज्यादा लोड पड़ेगा, माइलेज गिरेगा। हाई स्पीड पर इंजन को सही मात्रा में ऑयल सप्लाई नही होगा, इंजन ज्यादा गरम भी होगा। इसलिए कंपनी जो बताती है वही सही है।

Lete samay engine oil ka level tip stick pe thora kam dikha raha tha lekin 2 3 din drive karne ke baad phir se check kiya tha tab oil bohut kam ho gaya tha tip stick ek dam dry show kar tha tip stick engine se nikal ne par oil thoda touch hokar aa raha tha. Kya karoon aisa kyu hota hai ? bohut darr sa lag raha hai kaahi engine mein koi kharabi naa aa jaaye. Aur battery bhi low dikha raha engine start nehi ho paya do din pehle hi battery recharge ke le aya kal 30 km drive bhi kiya lekin sham ko jab gari start karne gaya tab battery phir se low dikha raha tha. Waise ek baat hat mera car raat bahar bahar rehta hai aur thand bhi thora bohut idhar.
Meine engine oil kam hone par ek litre (shell 5w 40) add kara hai abhi.
Aap kuch suggest kijiye na please bohut chinta ho raha hai

When you switch to a different grade engine oil for summers, keep the lower grade same. Never change that. The upper grade number can be raise by one grade in extreme summers only. But best is to stick with vehicle specific oil. You could have tested 5W40 last time but 10W40 is not correct. It will harm the engine when the engine cold starts.
Not much 5 n 10 are cold start numbers thinner oil will offcourse run faster and help slightly in indian winters only!

Subah gaadi start karthey hi engine bohut weak start hota hai(engine strokes)... aisa lagtha hai jaan hi nahi. Start karthey hi race dena padtha hai, warna bandh padtha hai.

Your problem may be weak battery or poor compression in cylinder or thicker engine oil like 10W40 or 20W50. If it's not poor compression in cylinder, then other problems are easy to fix. But if you have compression issue, then you may need to take it to a mechanic.

When I release break how disk pad free from roter
No need to worry. It's just different brake caliper designs. Your car is perfectly fine if it does not have springs. The Pads float over the disk at all times. Only when you press the brake pedal, those pads come closer and bite the disk. If brake is not applied, the pressure is released and the pads float over the disk. This is normal. In every service, always lubricate the caliper pins to ensure smooth movement of pads.

Before my vehicle servicing was doing with authorised service centre now a days i am getting service with local mechanic from that time my car panel board showing car with spanner icon always on with yellow light even when engine is on. is this no problem, when i ask local mechanic they told me need not to worry about that. (This is only service reminder which has done byA.S.Centre)

The washer jet is a cheap part. Costs less than 300. Get a new washer jet. Do not attempt to repair. If you insert copper wire or pin the jet nozzle will be damaged and you will have to anyway buy a new one. Just get a new spare. It's cheap and easy to get. Go to honda service center they'll sell it

Hello Sir, Mujhe apni Beat Petrol service krwani h kuch dino baad. 80000km chal chuki hai. 2nd hand li thi, toh mai khud se 1st service krwaunga. Please suggest which engine oil to use, and oil filter fuel filter wagehra konsa dalna h. Local mechanic se krwaunga. He is saying engine oil Barhdahl brand ka hai. Is is good? Also, engine flush nhi hoga. Wo konse brand ka lena hai, unke paas engine flush aur injector cleaning bhi barhdahl ki hai.
No use engine flush,, engine oil 5w30 any reputed brand e.g shell, servo, Castrol,, filter aftermarket ok rhte h

Sir, in my Toyota Rush 2006 model I had used 20w50 grade for last 2 times engine oil change. Engine's tappet cover seal has some minor leakage. Now I want to switch back in 10w40 grade. If I don't repace tappet cover seal before switching to 10w40 grade engine oil, will my engine oil leakage increase? My car mileage is 84000km.
20w50 is already thicker than 10w40, if yu switch to thinner oil it will leak more offcourse
If you tappet cover already has a leak, it already means a gasket inside is worn. It must be replaced and then change the oil to stop the leak. Always fix the base problem before changing oil. Else, it'll make no big difference.

It could be gear shifter bushing. If the bushing is damaged, shifting will be hard. Check with mechanic and if necessary, replace bushing. Also if bushing is ok, it could be synchros. It's a fork that controls the gear. If this is damaged, then your shifting will be harder. Either way you will need to take it to a mechanic and it's not a simple fix you can attempt from home.
