The Dartwood riding shoes from TCX offer the protection of a riding shoe without announcing their true purpose to the world while you're off the bike. Choose the WP version for essential waterproofing, or the GTX version for the waterproof, breathable experience that's made Gore-Tex famous around the world. Both variants offer Ortholite footbeds, reinforced midsoles/malleolus, side zipper entries, and CE 13634:2017 certification.

I added a shoe insert and now i can walk and stand all day with this shoes
I wish they made shoes just like this with a little more aggressive tread like on their boots
This video doesn’t address any of what people are saying on the website reviews. Clearly there are some issues with the sole and longevity. Why do company’s blatantly try and hide what the true pros and cons are? I have yet to see any content on this channel that was honest and looked out for the buyer. Why would you… it’s all about the sale.
The T Dry started leaking after just 4 months of use - weekend rides.
Would you suggest these shoes for colder weather, autumn and spring season?
Also, I would go with gore-tex, but maybe the other one would be warmer? What are your thoughts?
I’ve had the brown ones for a month and I cannot recommend. Im only 600 miles into these boots and both zippers are stuck and the soles are peeling away from the leather at the toe crease. Reached out to TCX and Dainese (the own the TCX brand) to do a warranty claim. Never heard back after multiple attempts and their after sales support voice mailbox is full. Not a great experience

Agreed! The stitching is absolutely needed. I own a pair and the soles started separating within the first 2 weeks :(

how to buy tcx dark wood black,im from phillipines,it free shipping??
How can sizing be true to size when he said he wears size 10.5 - 11 but he says he wears a 44 in this boot. on the size chart 44 is a us 10.

Yeah i just tried these on, normal shoes i wear size 13-14 with wide feet depending on the brand, I ended up getting a size 12 in the TCX shoes and they fit pretty good, i think a 12.5 would fit better but the store didnt have them in stock at the moment.
They run true to size, just ensure you do the Euro to US. I'm a size 8, usually buy 42 boots which is a US9, TCX 42 is a 8.5, which feel great and can wear them with thick socks. They do also stretch a bit.

That's seems like the idea TCX had, with a bit of a different design. Although the Moods are still available for the time being.
Do these come in an air/vented version?
No Air version just yet, but TCX might launch one in the future.
Does anyone know if the ankle support actually is useful? I tried it out and even though it states that it has ankle support, then the padding was ultra thin
D3O is pretty good stuff, TCX's more casual riding shoes all seem to be CE Level 1 certified so they'll definitely offer up more protection than your standard hiking boot or work boot.
@@JMLueckeA7X thank you for the answer. I appreciate it. I tried the earlier model called TCX Mood Gore Tex which seemed - although uglier - to be a lot more sturdy in the ankles and toes. The Dartwood seems to good to be true!
@@tari0048 Yeah, thank God for CE standardized ratings or else it'd be a lot more difficult to pick. Since they're both Level 1 they seem to provide at least the minimum amount of protection to get certified though.

No, no wide versions available but TCX does already runs wider than average in the width department compared to your average shoe.
