The TCX Street 3 is a rugged, street-ready motorcycle boot with a casual look resembling your favourite skater sneakers. At home on or off the bike, this highly protective boot may be a looker, but it is packed with some of the most low-profile and effective rider protection available.
The Street 3 is assembled using a full-grain leather upper with a matte nubuck finish that is resilient but will take on a nice patina as you rack up the miles. Although the upper has its own water-repellent qualities, it is backed up by TCX’s T-Dry waterproof lining to keep you happy and dry in wet weather. The leather upper is complemented by a surrounding white rubber sole with an aged finish. We’ve all soiled our shiny new trainers on purpose to make them look cooler, right? It may look like it has been around the block a few times, but the Street 3’s sole is a modern wear-resistant, dirt-repelling rubber compound from Groundtrax that is guaranteed to offer serious stability and grip.
Street 3 owners will also be protected by the latest technology from ZPLATE with their advanced shank running down the centre of the shoe.This latest design gives the boot a more natural, free feeling flex compared to typical inserts, but crucially will protect your feet from impact in all directions.
Like many models in the 2021 TCX range, the Street 3 has newly developed low profile inserts in the malleolus area from D3O that have ‘Non-Newtonian’ characteristics. This means that the molecules within the armour flow freely in their standard form, but their viscosity can change to become more solid under force. In English: the Street 3 is super comfortable to wear but is set up to take an impact and keep you safe!

Im confused with size on your website, it says US 9 is 42, but on TCX page it says US 9 is 43?

Is there any data on d30 for ankle protection? I always thought you needed rigid not just for impact

Hi Andrew for someone like me whose 8.5 would and wide feet would it be better for a 9 or would you get away with a size 8?
I'd probably say size up for comfort, this works in most cases. Can always wear thicker socks!
Is the fit the same as the older x-street models? Those tended to be a bit large and wide which suits me.

I have a pair of the old version.. been wearing them for about a year and they are my favorite sneaker!! My only complaint was they didn’t have enough grip... but these new ones look like they fixed that problem.

@@psipsitronick9250 but why would TCX lie about it being grippy? groundtrax can grip on any surface, mybe your not wearing em enough to get rid of the new shiny layer from the factory like new motorcycle wheels have
You're right and I thank you for your input. But I've worn'em a lot since I love'em apart from that - for me severe - issue. So much that I watch the meteo each time I'm tempted to wear'em. So I've been wearing'em very often since I bought'em. And the issue, if not as noticeable as the first days (so you're partly right) has continued. I found a work around : I avoid putting my feet flat on the ground, which assures a better grip - which I test each time by checking the grip... Don't know why but it's better this way... @@steve00alt70

I’m so bored of the beat white sole, a little jealous the ladies version gets a crispy white sole. You would be able to dress these up office casual if they just gave us a clean white.

0:04 My Ikasu TCX air are slippery on wet ground. Very very dangerous. It’s incredible they fucked up on such an issue with their so called Groundtrax. I’m mad about it.
Why don’t you post my 3 star review on your website? Looks like customer support ignores my requests. Quite dodgy urban rider. Left a bitter taste for sure. Beware everyone and asks yourselves why nothing on Urban Rider has anything less than a 4 star rating. I’ve submitted the review twice and both times not posted but my 4 star review for another product was. Hmmmm....

what was the issue with the shoe?
I do not see how these shoes can be considered "motorcycle boots" given their low height. Most of the video focused on style with no mention how they will protect you from breaking your foot or ankle should it get caught between your bike and the pavement. They do look comfortable but I find proper quality made leather high top motorcycle boots can be extremely comfortable as well.
