- For this cover I tried to mix out as much of the guitar from the original song as I could. The solo is still pretty audible though. I recorded 2 guitar tracks & hard panned them

Yeah agree! Most people watching cover videos are musicians themselves, so for instance I saw this and wanted to see if the riffs I figured out were similar, and I'm like chill with camera everywhere haha no big deal!

Freaking sick bro. I love Mastodon riffage...they’re the best! Their style is like no other. The chorus of that song is so sick with the chuggin’ palm mute followed by the high end picking...super dope. Bill is such an underrated guitarist! Such as inspirational dude thru and thru. Love the entire band!

First off, thank you very much for the kind words. Just to better understand, are you talking about the little "solo" (not really a solo but you get the idea) thing at the end of the intro riff? Right before it leads into the verse?
@@siircodyy Yeah, exactly! Out of all the cover videos not many hit those licks as thoroughly and as clean as you have.
I'm gonna do a video of how to play (most) of the entire song. I'll try to have to up this weekend. Keep an eye out for it.
