the thing i love about the GO!!Light up! cover is that with the choir chorus it feels like Eva herself is making a Plea for Dante's humanity and Sparda is the main demonic voice that combine in the end for Dante. The mix here puts more emphasis on the instruments and LittleV's vocal and inserts the fact that Sparda lived as a human with his voice having less of a demonic growl but still carrying a serious depth.
I'd say that during the last part, in the original version, it is easier to understand the angelic voice rather than the demonic voice since Dante chose his humanity over his demonic side during the ending fight with Vergil. In fact, the song itself is a summary of Dante's point of view in the game. First, he goes with his devil part with Vergil and loses because of his rage and hate. Then he accepts hit humanity and embraces it with Lady telling him what a family means (indirectly) and the last part is the humanity and demonic side of Dante. When Dante fights with Vergil, he does it because he wants to find the right thing but he also wants to beat him because he is mad. And in this case, his human side won and the song is perfectly translated to have a more clear voice with his human side rather than with the demonic side

That's what my mind thinks of when I hear this version of the cover of devil's never cry.
