I’m kinda worried if this doesn’t work or anything.. first of all do I need to buy the virtual desktop app on vr? And also r u sure this won’t affect my computer badly? Please reply if u can
Virtual Desktop isn't necessary for anything mentioned here. Also, as long as your PC is VR Ready (GTX 1060 6GB / RX 580 8GB or better) it should work perfectly with Gorilla Tag. Besides, the worst that can happen is it not working with your current PC!
@@HiddenForges The quest version of the game is standalone using a Quest headset only, Oculus PC requires a PC cabable of PCVR and is not reliant on the headset.
@@Not--Leo Oh ok. I was just wondering what you meant. Just to make sure. With quest pc, I will be able to get mods and keep my cosmetics. Also ty for getting back too me so fast!
@@HiddenForges Yep! Just follow the tutorial for Air link or link Cable and you'll be able to use mods and well as keep all Cosmetics you got on quest.
The only way to have your standalone cosmetics on PCVR is using the Oculus PCVR software, you won't be able to port to steam but Gorilla Tag on Oculus PC is basically the same experience as using Steam just you wont have the Steam Dashboard.
The Oculus PC version of the game and SteamVR version is separate so unless you're also banned on quest version you wont be banned on the Oculus PC version, you'll just have to buy the game again there. However, you still have the chance of getting banned for ban evading so I'd recommend waiting until your ban finishes.
@@IDontEvenKnowAnymoreGT Make sure you're using the same meta account on both your PC and Quest. If you're sure you are check your player ID on both PC and Quest if they're the same you should have your cosmetics.
You'll have to be a bit more specific There's over 14 generations of Core i3 and i5 with very different performance, you'd want to worry more about your GPU then CPU for PCVR aswell! Just try it out if you haven't already and see how it goes.
run steam on your pc, run steam link on your quest, click your pc name on steam link, press "start" or some shit like that on steam link, and then it should boot you into the steamvr home.

@@BeansTagOfficial yea but it did not work
Where is the mod to keep your quest cosmetics bc I spent about 100 on my quest 2 one I’m on airlink now so I need my cosmetics back
It's not a mod, you just have to buy the Oculus PCVR version of the game.
@@Not--Leo nah uh I bought it on steam I’m not paying another 20 bucks bucko💀🙏🤓☝️

Can u just use steam vr and the usb cableand not have to use oculus pc
Unfortunately not, you must use wireless Steam Link or Oculus PC Link Cable.
there are litarly no links
okay, how do I get my cosmetics from my oculus account on pcvr?
You have to buy it on the Oculus PC Store. Then follow the tutorial on using Air link or a Link Cable with Oculus PCVR and you'll have your cosmetics.
