Yummy thank you
Similar to a Greek Tzatziki or Turkish Cacik.
1:46 You can serve it Raita way😂
Yes and No ....Yes it's similar to what she made here with Greek Tzatziki or Turkish Cacik ...But No because Raita here in India is made in several ways some people put a ton of veggies like beetroot, carrot, roasted Sesame seeds, Pomegranate seeds and of course with all the seeds of cucumber but remove excess water to maintain texture ...but she was spot on with Roasted cumin powder...may be add black pepper and pink salt and use homemade yogurt for good gut health benefits
I forgot Boondi Raita 😊....u will never find anything close to that
Is it sweet yogurt or
❤️
Why remove the middle bits if the cucumber?
you don't want the seeds in your raita ;)
I've never seen it done this way. We normally just chop up the cucumber and throw it in. Never seen the cumin added either. Must try this.
@@lukasnikanorovas8798 Whats the problem with seeds?
Here's the tricky part, how do you make all natural indian yogurt or daihi which is the main ingredient for raita?🤣
Sorry, but using natural Greek yogurt is a fail for me.
I suppose daihi can be harder to find abroad, so she must've gone with what she could find.
@@jakethesnake95 you can ferment milk by putting in salt and tightly sealed and leave it overnight at normal room temperature.
@@santoshsharma483 is the cow Indian? And milk?
@@kinglseythomas3861 silly question
Then don't make it. My mother is from Gujarat. We now live in Africa we use store bought plain yogurt. No one makes curd at home
Learn how to pronounce it!
That is not how Raita is pronounced.
So?she's not indian yet she is trying.
Such an obnoxious comment.
As if anyone cares what you think, I made it and it is delicious :)
