If your diamond or below all you need to do to rank up is play DELIBERATELY! That means you have to think and be able to give a reason for everything you're doing. Assessing your deaths is only one part of playing deliberately. The best way to tell if you are playing deliberately is by checking how often you look at mini map or press tab. In general the more times you are paying attention to these important factors the more DELIBERATELY you are playing. Best of luck to you all

@@sadsimp9994Playing DELIBERATELY means focusing on playing the best you possibly can at all times. Who cares about what you did the past 12 rounds or what your teammates are doing. I can already tell you're hard stuck in a low elo because you immediately are looking for scapegoats instead of trying to take my advice to heart.

@@expiredyams as often plat and below players like me consistently can have good games, but not be able to do anything about the seemingly rng based teammates we are dealt with. Is it pure luck until the lobbies skill level goes up?

Thnx man this is exactly what i wanted to hear. It makes a lot of sense. Im stuck on Bronze 2 after deranking from Silver 2, and still struggling to get back. I think the point is to stop trying to rank up at all. Every game is a lesson.
I love Sena. I used to be a hardstuck gold 2, after watching Sena I jus started to rank up a lot faster all the way to Diamond 1 in a span of 2 acts. So I highly recommend this guy!

I used to think that I am hardstuck gold 2 also but in the reality it took me almost 40 victories or less to move to plat 1 today, I literally got to plat 1 then de ranked to gold 3 and got back again to plat 1, the hardest part on my account was that each time I peak gold 3 78/100 for example, I find myself playing vs plat 3 and 2 and with a team just average meaning not good but I made it today ! Hope anyone else make it too

I moved to plat 2 and I then deranked to gold 3 after doing a lot of consecutive defeats because I think that according to the journey I pass, I can’t do good scores, and how that influences a lot ! Limit of what can happen is to get hard carried, but even deranking gold 3 still playing vs plat 3 and diamond 1 enemy ! That’s outrageous 🤣

recently i learned how important game sense is like looking at your map remembering where enemy players are and your team where the other team could push and ect so i started looking at my map more and it helped alot for rotateing faster predicting where enemy's could be and for better angels to hold i recently started playing valorant i only have been playing for like a month so i have a lot to learn but i highly recommend looking at the map more it has helped me a lot

'tips to rank up' that everyone is telling but dont help.
One tip that has helped me rank up is - no need to force queue or spam queue. Rather than playing 5-6 matches of comp everyday i would suggest to play just 2-3 matches. But in those 3 matches put everything and give your best. No backseating. Full comms and do the best that you can do.
Even if you lose all 3 of your matches you aren't going to lose on your elo and rr significantly and maybe next day you'll win all 3.
Personnalité playing 12 game per day got me from silver to 3 to diamond 1 in one month
If I talk about my self i usually play as you said and i was hardstuck gold. TBH i played for 8-9 hours daily, during first 1-2 comps my aim won't be good but after that my aim would reach it's max point of perfection and hand movements too. I did this for a month playing 8-9 hours and I reach from gold to Ascendant in between 1-2 months.
I think playing 6 matches winning 3 and losing 3 i will be almost at the same position where i started.

i play but if i lose 2 games, then i stop. if its a good day, win as much as possible, 2 losses wont be a big loss and even if you just go 0-2 its still easy rr to get back
my parent let me play 2 hours per week which is like 2 comp games for a week and cause of that im bronze 1 in sg. and i cant rank up cause of no com teammates and i cant even assess my gameplay to improve cause i get fking 2 hours per week

I started in Iron 3 and naturally ranked up to Silver 1 by just enjoying the game and learning mechanics and lineups. Now I’m Silver 2 after a year but I have improved drastically since. The only tip I don’t apply is by three-stacking so maybe that is holding me back.

Lemme ask y’all a question. Now I know this isn’t going to get many replies but I want to ask why you guys play this game. I play it and I want to rank up too but if you think about it from the bigger perspective, what are video games made for. Fun. Stressing abt rank or wanting to get better at a game which is what I do is not that fun speaking from experience. When you first started playing Val was it with friends or by yourself. What is it now. Personally, I changed to 5 stacking with friends and it just makes the game more fun. Chatting and not really caring whether we win or lose. That’s just me though.

I haven’t played games like csgo or valorant in a long time. The most I’ve done is play like cod over the years SOMETIMES. I have around 35-40 hours and I’m currently gold 2 and climbing. My buddy who came from cs go, had gotten gold 3 as his first rank and duo-queuing with me he is now play 1. Now with that said. I’ve been doing lots of warmups and routines and also playing even when it’s just me. So when we do play together, the consistency of my game sense and aim, shows. Versus his where he might carry the whole game but the next game bottom frag and make plays that don’t float with the team in a game sense way. Playing with different minded/skilled players helps put you in positions and plays where you can learn versus using your duo to crutch on for the same kind of plays all the time.

Warm up routine made huge impact on my gmply. My warm-up routine that made my game mechanics really great in just a few days is: 5-10 minutes of the range, 1-2 deathmatch (idc about the score and my kills, the important part is how can I improve my movement, peeking advantages, and precise head aim placement, because if you have good aiming placement = easy kills), 2-3 tdm to apply all of the concepts, and lastly, 1 unrated game before I go into competitive. With these warm-up routines, I built a foundation on checking and making my mistakes less with each game and each round. I can also tap heads easily now since I already know how to counter different enemies who have different playstyles. I can also now see my improvements since I'm no longer crouching, no longer spraying, and have made my tracking of heads before I shoot even greater than before. Last but not least, my mind is not on autopilot anymore since it is now more aware of what can happen in the game. Now I'm always topfragging my games with a HS% of 30-50%. I know there is still a lot to learn, but I'm happy that I can already see improvements in my gameplay. Knowing that I can now face higher elos in my everyday games makes me confident enough to know that I'm good, but I know there is still a lot more to learn.

I have to admit that this video actually teaches me, firstly it clearly exposes my life in valorant at the beginning of the video, secondly unlike other youtubers useless guides, he mentioned it step by step, which deserves more likes
a huge piece of advice imo which goes along with good mental is to stop blaming teamates. Whenever I solo que i try to keep a mentality of focusing on my own gameplay and what I can do better because at the end of the day even if your team is throwing theres nothing you can do about that.

Here’s my advice. If you want to rank up, you’ll have to put in the hours. Watching videos are good every now and then but being consistent with your practice is key.

Thank you! Ascendant is tough because people have decent mechanics. Stack with 2 friends that you can rely on and make plays together. The teamwork will throw most players off and keep improving your aim + mechanics and I'm sure you will be able to rank up, I believe :)

I don't think people will stop playing Jett entirely, but I'm sure we will see some agent variety coming. We'll have to see how it plays out.
