For the clip at 4:06, I think the guy picks up the orb and throws it right away, blowing himself up. Because it happens in the animation while the camera is shifting, it is harder to see, but it was a simple matter of user error.
I thought the same thing. I looks like right at 4:50 his character looked like his character was throwing out a melee.
I like that the tower in the Lost City has become the new hub for these

19:10 so on the tree, there is a barrier there that will push you back. Where the Hunter was standing will literally slingshot you as we see here. Multiple Maps have this, color me impressed. That was sweet.

19:50 it's a barrier push, I'm pretty sure. Same as you can do with a sword, but there he's getting inside of the pushback by climbing a tree and got launched with a bunch of velocity because of it trying to take him back into the map, which gave the result it did.
You can see in chat he says “look at this speed boost”
That tree is just bugged when atop it it can launch you. I watched fallout talk about it.
It specifically looks like the mantle animation is giving the push up into the barrier combined with the slope of the tree for the big launch
That's EXACTLY what i was thinking! Pushing against the ceiling to gain a speed boost to traverse the map like that was super clever!
@@Shad0w_vtif you just try and jump on the log the barrier will push you down, mantling lets you up for a split second because you’re coming from beneath the log

19:34 to explain, this is a glitch where if you manage to get yourself next to an invisible barrier and can set it correctly, it will launch you and drag you around the length of the invis wall at extremely high speeds. So that clip is them using it in a PVP map to launch onto the flank and tap people. It can happen fairly often in OOB environments. And in some cases, PvP/PvE
17:50 had me laughing out loud, coughing, half choking and laughing again for a solid minute while i kept replaying it 😂

And it's yet another reason to never use TCrash. Not only is it ass for damage, but now enemies can not only FREEZE AND SUPPRESS us out of it, but SUSPEND us out of it as well.
Thank Atheon for dude launching off that tree limb into the cloudstrike. Launcher bumpers were implemented into D1 for the first time to stop Atheon from being nade walked off the edge of his platform for free loots back in the day. He hit a bumper wall and took flight lol.
That gambit clip is a huge 10. Man knows the invader is comming, just cleans out the blockers and banks so he cant be hit. Then lasers in on where the opponent will be and absolutely smashes the ankles.

Not to mention the fact that the invader was invading with more than 7 motes at 93 points lmfao.

19:10 it was probably the sky box that pushes you down that he mantled above and the barrier pushes him down but the angled floor pushes him away and flung him.
To explain the ogre moment 4:05 , when you die the game automatically attributes the kill to the enemy who last damaged you. That’s why it said the ogre killed him in the clip. As for the death itself, I think the solar orb interacted with the hive shell and thus blew it up, causing a damage tick spike. But hey that’s just a theory.
He could have also just thrown the orb, which seems likely.

If you look closely at 4:48, we can see for a split second, that he does in fact throw it right after picking it up.
He does it like mid-animation hence it looks weird.

Regarding the duality clip, when I was playing a lot of onslaught during Into the Light, the amount of times I died because my grenade launcher shot hit the mask of the brigs is insanity
I felt that "there goes flawless" in my SOUL. I swear those cabal explosive knives are ALWAYS personal.
that traveller ball clip is the first time one of these has legitimately made me laugh - I love running into things like that in a game~

That one branch the hunter mounted has been.... buggy every so often, it can sometimes launch you in a direction if mounted, so it seems the player has learned how to harness that

At around 20 minutes its a thing i think called barrier surfing. You push yourself between 2 barriers to launch yourself
all titans have left is punching, every gun we pick up, every piece of armor we equip has a time limit, and when that timer expires bungie nerfs it.
Speaking of Duality, I've had Caitel step on the corpse of a legionary with the explosive backpacks, sending that flying into a teammate, killing him
At 19:10 I believe what happened there was the guardian behind em either did sparrow flying or hit em with a skimmer grind to carry the moment and push em off the wall. I'm leading more towards the skimmer grind mainly because the guardian was directly behind em before it threw em forward and the momentum from the start of the grind is rather violent where sparrow flying requires more precise movements and setups to toss a guardian with that much force.

20:09 this is legit, *here's how:* that tree reaches the map's height barrier, clambering onto it squeezes your character through that barrier, the barrier pushes you back. you get forced forwards.
the closer to the top you manage to clamber, the harder it forces you forwards. go try it in private matches. to most vets, this thing is well known, but its really hard to make it useful in any way.
Man this reminds me of fails of the week from achievement hunters back in the day

19:18 I saw this on a Wallah short. Basically, there's a soft repel barrier there but only on one side of the log. If you get on top of the log in the right spot, it will catapult you in the direction of the barrier repulsion.

19:11 clip is just forcing myself between the tree branch and a low height barrier with a mantle, only way the game can force you is forward

19:55 There's a push barrier there. By clambering into the push barrier, it pushes back wayyyy harder. Resulting in the slingshot.
8:27 It is the hand, you can hear the glass breaking sound as it's coming out of the ground.
19:15 So what's going on is that this part of the environment has a tendency to yeet you across the map. So he used it to get sent on the opposite side (much higher than people would expect, which let him land two cloudstrikes. Wild use of geometry glitch.
Using the mantle to force myself between the tree branch and the height barrier, the only way the game can force you is forward in that case

So on that crucible map that tree specifically is known to just for some reason launch you that direction. I've seen benny trying to use it on stream to hit clips once or twice. no idea why it happens but that was 100% a planned flank
5:45 that warlock didn't just ica dash, that was snap skating, a method to give about half the speed of wellskating at no cost if your well is on cooldown
Watching you guys react to the speed thing was funny. You can boost yourself by wedging yourself into barriers. Since he mounted, it launched him forward.

I dont play destiny 2 anymore (ill explain why in a bit), but i have a super cool idea for an exotic gun you could cover. Im in med school and were talking about ekg, arrythmias, etc and was studying and thought of how cool this might be. Name it "retrograde conduction". Its a trace rifle that the beam travels from the target to the shooter (drawing in) and does a small healing pulse around the shooter every 10-15 ammo. A vampire type weapon since they recently introduced healing archetypes
Also, if you happen to create this pls tag me so i can see the idea come to life!!
For the Punch Titan Clip, it's a combination of Knockout and Spark of Resistance along with Dunemarcher's perk helping with the AoE kills. He's also Amplified and, given that he's all Arc Damage, very likely has Galvanic Armor from the Artifact giving him additional DR coupled with (likely) T10 Resilience (because Titan).

Shield throw (super or not) has slight tracking to enemies. He was able to jump it (so easily) because he was a friendly . you can do it as an enemy but it is so much harder

The flying hunter used some sort of barrier skate pinch When he mantles he pushes himself in a barrier that propels him into another.. Technically considered exploiting the map and reportable, but I would just laugh and load my next game.
8:47, it was indeed the hand that pushed them off, you can see the hand is there when you spectate their ghost.

I don't have a clip for proof but I did an arc staff super to team wipe in control. The team had been picked of and the game was spawning everyone back in and I saw it so I fired off the super and thought I would maybe catch 1 or 2. Nope I happened to get 6.

Spamming jump on a pushback barrier will let you ride it, you can also do the same thing skating into ramps, I believe it's called air skating.

for the clip at 12:10 it actually hits the top of Calus' head and bounces upwards.
For the weird flying on endless vale in trials. That map specifically has alot of WEIRDLY low invisible ceilings, and the game gets really mad at you when you hit them, especially with blink. My best guess is he chambered onto the tree and smushed his hitbox right in-between it and the ceiling and that sent him into the curve of the map geometry to setup the snipes. I do alotta private matches on that map specifically just because its one of the easiest maps to teach people how elevation works with your radar, how to read radar without tunneling in on it, proper flanks, and just how many stupid goblin spots there are in crucible maps if you're willing to learn them lol and I personally love jumping through that tree's "Y" to break line of sight and give people the slip.

You can absolutely dodge things with the backflip in pvp! Sheikh does it quite a bit, hes got more than a few clips where he dodges things with that backflip emote!
I used to have a good clip on my Xbox but when it updated to only save clips for 90 days I lost it. I was playing gambit an invader came and killed my team and was chasing me so I jumped of a ledge spun 180 and head shot him and the knight behind him with the arbalest. I was terrible at the time so it was definitely the best shot I had ever made. Probably about a 6

I don't know what exactly it is on 4:55 but I had this issue quite some times already
If u got hit with solar DMG in the pale heart sometimes u just randomly explode and mostly this happens near ogres

The ogre death at 4:16~ is caused by the ogre doing damage to him before he retreats to cover he most likely killed himself via the ball because he was prolly holding down the trigger or the ball was skippy
The tree has weird physics. If you land around that spot, it'll launch you away. You don't have to do anything special, just land there.
