RAGING FIRES - IMC with Skies Clear?? - VOR Approach - Diamond DA40 NG - EYZ

Interesting flight today, up to Wiarton to fly a VOR approach. My first attempt.....not elegant execution, but gained a lot of knowledge in how they work and how to fly them......unbelievable smoke from the forest fires raging in Alberta and Quebec was impeding visibility to the point where we were almost in IMC with skies clear !! Thanks for sharing . IFR training can be allot of work i am also currently in training in an da 20 on steam gauges .
