+mustang774 You're set man! Beer is beer. So long as you hit your temps and have your efficiency dialed in you are golden. How many runs have you done with your cooler? Is it a square cooler or the round cooler?

I´m not to sure about fitting it to the lid. You´re not able to see how full the kettle is and adjust it correctly.

Is there some logic in the pump that lowers the effect as the valve in the autosparge closes? or will it just keep building pressure?

it will just keep building pressure as long as your hoses can hold it, it shouldn't matter. .A lot of people have a valve right after the pump that they turn down just to lower the psi a bit.

If its a magnetic drive pump, it shouldnt over-pressurize. Just spin in place .

its just a float valve, nothing really special about it.
