  • A viewer requested more info about the snowshoes. I thought that was a great idea and am happy to oblige. So far I love the 'shoes. I plan to get a lot more use under differing conditions, but I really doubt my opinion will change.
As I noted, I think the price is crazy right now, but hopefully they will drop substantially in the summer (at least if our economy and supply chain don't completely implode by then).

Great information, Looks like they would be valuable in most snowy winter situations. Maybe even life saving. Thanks for taking the time to fully explain the features. The heel riser is a great addition.

I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for suggesting the topic! I'm hoping to get out this weekend and do more fun winter stuff, although I probably won't get around to posting video(s) right away.

Are those bindings good for heavy arctic pac boots, there is absolutely nothing more aggravating then to have a pair of snowshoes that are useless no matter the price if you can't get baffins, sorrel boots, lacrosse arctic pac-boots up here in interior Alaska where temps are typically -30 to -50f where your snowshoes are absolutely vital, can you speak on bindings the boa system, and others for large pac boots and what do you recommend if you have to spend an hour fighting your bindings they are absolutely useless and freeze your tail off doing it!

I can't speak to all heavy pac models and sizes, but I wear size 10 Kamik Canuck boots, which as far as I can tell are basically comparable in bulk to Sorels, Muck Boots and others of that type. The bindings accommodate my boots with ease, and are very easy to put on and take off in all kinds of weather conditions. I too have struggled with bindings on other snowshoes, especially when they get snow/ice buildup on them, so I was very pleasantly surprised with these.
It's possible that I could do a follow-up video about this topic later.

@@republicjim120 thanks Jim, you know my frustrations it's nice to know that I'm not the only one! Having cussed up a storm in the great outdoors! If you can try the boa, and one from each mfg., if I have to find warm leprechaun swashbuckle pac boots I will, they have to have the versatility of being worn on a snowmobile those are just some of the parameters, excellent video!
