The colour analysis thing was always so weird to me, people should be allowed to wear what they want without people saying it’s flattering or unflattering. Love to hear your thoughts though ❤
I agree!! I actually like color analysis, I had it done and it's helped me a bit, but it's so weird and backhanded to just say something about what's flattering/unflattering to another person imo. I think color analysis has its benefits but lately the discourse hasn't been it lol, the unsolicited advice is crappy and doesn't even make sense cause you can only really tell someones colors in person. but yeah ppl should just be happy &comfy if you ask me :))
I think this is a great example for slow fashion shopping - the inspo can be trendy or not, but you're patient and wait until you can find it second hand instead of quickly giving up and buying new ^ ^ Of course not everyone have to do it because fashion is not equitable for every body, but for your specific situation I'm so happy to see a role model for a patient fashion enthusiast :D
I would actually love a video about the colour seasons thing, ESPECIALLY if you feel skeptical about it, because I personally am and it's been feeling like I'm the only one lmao
My mom/aunts/grandma have been into seasonal color analysis for decades and I've been hearing about it my whole life so it's interesting to have it be "trendy" now - I think it has a place and can be fun and build confidence but also people should wear what they want to wear regardless! Loved this video, inspired me to go thrifting this week!
okay, I totally agree about the color/seasons thing! tell ‘em!! also loved the tie-belt removal solution, and putting it in your hair instead! soo cute!
Yes please make a video about your distaste for seasonal color analysis! I actually LOVE seasonal color analysis 😂(it has helped me so much in finding my personal style) but would love to hear your perspective because it can be limiting at times.
i would LOVE a video on season color analysis i've recently discussed it with my sister, since then i've been wanting to hear someone else's opinion about it
omgggg thank you for saying you don't care about the whole colour palet thing ! like yeah I get that burgundy floaters me more but damn it if I wanna wear hot pink I will
Please analyse season colour analysis in a video - I would love your take on it because I love how colourful your outfits are and I’d rather watch a video on it by you than someone else so it would be fun! ❤ I hate how limiting that whole system is. And I really don’t like “my colours” any way. Rant with me! 😤😂
Personally i feel like the color season trend has pros and cons. For me it helped me realize that there are some colors i dont like on myself, and now i can understand why a bit better, and get ahead of the issue when shopping. I have bought so many pieces that i think i love, but never end up wearing and i have realized that a lot of the time its because i dont like how those colors look on me. But i think there definitely is some weirdness about dictating what colors look best on anyone just based on their skin/hair/eye color. It should just come down to what colors YOU like best and feel best for you.
Yes pls to colour analysis vid! And for what it's worth i think the dress colours are super flattering on you so was surprised when you said they werent 😂
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the seasonal color palette thing! One thing I have noticed in those types of videos…it does seem to presume whiteness or at least lighter skin tones in how it differentiates between the different seasons and their descriptions. But maybe there’s some that’s more nuanced in that regard
This dress was made for you ! And can we talk about those beautiful accessories ? You found so many amazing things ! I would love to hear your thoughts on the "season color analysis", because I've heard that a lot in clothing stores, on social media... If I had to stick to a specific color palette, I would be so unsatisfied because clothing is such a cool and healthy way of expressing our emotions or just ourselves (in my opinion). I live for my bright color items ! Anyway I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic !
Damn girl, the thrift god really blessed you hahah! I kept thinking troughout the video if you ever made a video on how you usually thrift for maximum effort, and if you haven't already, you really should. Also! Omg I've also been so into mermaidcore lately, is that something you could style some outfits in? Awesome video btw as always : )
That vest is stunning!! I've been looking for a vest like that as well, but no luck yet 🥲 I'm praying to the thrift gods haha. Oh, and definitely yes to the colour analysis video!
why do i love workwear?! boy scouts, military, spacey sci fi, adventurer, it’s so appealing to me as a movie watching couch potato who hates dirt idky i like it but i do
such cool items beeps!! and look at comet we love her!! I think a color analysis vid would be cool, I actually like the seasons system (at least for myself it's helped a bit) but id love to hear your thoughts!!! Also so glad you bought the dress :)
Oh shit I was literally trying to figure out your season while you said you don't like color analysis, sorry lol. I think the dress is pretty on you and you are maybe a spring, but I understand why being categorized feels limiting.
There are things I am sick of in fashion content, but talking about how seasonal colour analysis is a waste of time is not one of them! (The things I am sick of are mostly 'quiet luxury' and anything that gives rules based on what is 'classy' or 'age appropriate'.)
@@beepwrld I thought I was being recommended all this classy age appropriate rules nonsense because UA-cam knows I'm in my forties and thinks it's time for me to go full beige, but maybe it's just what everyone is making at the moment! So strange. Long live not giving a fig.
Yes please do a video on your thoughts on color analysis. I get so frustrated because the colors I love are not in my "season" and I don't like the ones that are. I actually feel more confident when I wear what I like!
Yessss, totally speak about the color analysis in one of your videos! It made me backtrack on so many of my thrifting decisions with thoughts like "well I think I'm a cool winter or something so wearing that wouldn't wash me out??" even tho the colors theoretically recommended for me are not the ones I feel most comfortable and confident in. Also I'm so jelaous of those shorts, weight fluctuations wouldn't be such a bother lmao.
i would be very into a beepworld critique of seasonal color analysis-- and really any commentary/ video essay content you might choose to grace us with
color analysis as a set of rules is stupid I agree. but learning my colors made me understand why I hate how I look in certain pieces of clothing. I truly had no idea that its because the color was wrong, but knowing this has greatly improved my confidence. it also helps that my favorite colors are in my color pallet or fall close.
Would love to see your thoughts on seasonal colour analysis! Lately I've been really frustrated by falling in love with colours that theoretically don't look good on me, and it would be great to hear a different perspective.
dude i have the same lack of cute small tops that arnt casual cropped ones!! currently going through my annual style shift so we’ll see what we can find in the coming months 😜 now back to the video 💗🪩
You literally thrifted all the clothes I’m looking for! Guess there’s some hope I’ll eventually find the prices I’m looking for! Also yawing the waist tie for your hair is genius! I had a shirt that I recently discovered I could wear backwards to change the neckline and I thought of you because you probably would do that. Also i definitely want to hear your take on the color season thing!
Pleeeaaase give us your thoughts on the whole color season type system. I have been torn about it for years - some aspects make sense to me and others don't - and I feel like you would be able to find some angles that are new and fresh for me. Also: Congratulations to your successful hunting! There are some real cuties in your haul. All the best from Germany!
I love these looks!! I would be…so curious what your take on ‘fashion for working from home’ would look like. A lot of what I see is either super corporate or literally pajamas (which is so fine) but I want to be able to express myself while being comfortable during my workday.
Nice thrift finds! ❤ Please do make that video about the whole "seasons"/"your colors" thing, I have some issues with it too and would love to hear your opinion
I would love to hear your thoughts on the whole color season thing! I know that, personally, when I'm seeking some kind of externally-designed framework for how to present myself, it comes from a place of seeking approval and not having a fully developed sense of what I want or even that I am justified in wanting something without that approval legitimizing it first, which totally sucks! People have been taught so much fear about how we present ourselves, whether that's in accordance with what's "professional" or "flattering" or some other metric, and it's one thing to take a color season and realize you line up with your favorite colors or that you really like whatever palette you're assigned without stressing about unapproved colors in clothes you love, but when people start panicking about disobeying their season, or about not having a season or knowing concretely what it is, t's just another set of rules and restrictions making your life worse! Over colors! Which are supposed to be fun and expressive!
I've generally followed my "type" for almost 10 years now, from Dress Your Truth. It encompass colors, patterns and textures. Honestly, i love it and it has made me so much more creative with clothes! Especially because im not "supposed" to wear black.. which about 6-7 years ago felt so tragic when all my other young mom friends were only wearing black leggings and black tops, i felt like i stuck out so much lol. I don't really believe in only wearing certain colors.. but i do enjoy it myself! I think it helps me have a more identifiable and strong style . So do i want you to make s video about it?? Idk! I love everything you have to say and you have really inspired me ( i went from 0 vests to 8 thrifted vests...) But let's be honest, I'll watch it.
i know it was a joke but it would actually be so much fun if you did a video making outfits based on moonrise kingdom/wes anderson films or really any media with standout fashion! it's kinda funny but i like to pick my clothes based on a character im embodying when i go out, it gives me the confidence to try new stuff, like cosplay/disney bounding but just for real life lol
Colour seasons are like mbti -- not necessarily all-encompassing truth, but rather a fun lighthearted system to help think about yourself differently. It becomes a problem when it's a self fulfilling prophecy or limiting, but can give ppl hints of where to look if they want inspiration to explore.
PS: I think a lot of us have the desire to be heard/seen/understood, and being sorted into frameworks (eg houses, astrology, etc etc) helps us get that sense of related-ness to other people and a part of a bigger scheme (even if that bigger thing is flawed and biased and incomplete etc). Putting arbitrary inflexible rules on one's life can be super limiting, but putting light flexible seeds of labels can sometimes help us relate and discover. That's my initial thought anyway -- it's definitely a nuanced thing.
SHUT THE HELL UP!😱🤯 you started talking about the vest (2nd item) and I was like “lol no way it’s as cool as the vest I just thrifted yesterday!” And it’s THE SAME EXACT VEST! My jaw dropped, what are the chances?! Vintage Talbots for the win.
Yes please! I'd love to hear your thoughts on colour analysis 😊 i honestly think is just something that makes no sense to me, almost like "the fruit shapes" attributed to women 😐
Please make a video about the season color analysis!!! It’s sucking me in! Because it’s right but I’m a summer and all of my favorite colors are autumn!
I liked pink dress on you all your pieces very versatile you are very clever. You also have me looking at the different ways I can wear my clothes. As I have decided to let my hair my hair go grey some colours can leave me about washed out. My answer to that is to wear a nice bright lipstick. It works for me. I agree wear the clothes you love.
Loved getting a peak into your recent pick ups- it's really cool how your tastes have been so consistent recently; I usually keep track of what I thrift, but now I'm actually curious to see if there's some kind of theme going on I haven't noticed! I'm of two minds about color analysis, since I think it's another one of those tools that has a solid underlying logic, but is nuanced enough to be easily misused. Some colors DO look super great on some people and others can legitimately make look terrible, and while avoiding the things that are fighting you makes sense, you don't need to be aiming to look ideal all the time, and there are a bunch of colors that are effectively neutral and perfectly fine. That said, if you've ever watched Trinny, she does this thing where if she knows a color doesn't work for her, she'll put something that does between her face and the item and it's suddenly not an issue. Also, if you consider that color analysis is supposed to be done with your natural hair color and sans makeup, it becomes apparent that it is something that you can readily manipulate/style around and not some ironclad rule (and I think a lot of people do that without even realizing.) If you're getting them done (in person) or working within some of the palettes to match your clothing it could be cool but I think a lot of the color analysis content I've been seeing recently hasn't been particularly illuminating.
I agree that one should wear whatever color they like. If you like a color and feel good in it, then wear it. I like red however, I don't wear it because I have rosacea. Reds tend to make it look worse. I have to be careful with certain pinks and maroons, too. I think your dress looks better without the tie around the waist.
I do want to hear what you have to say about the colour analysis thing. I'm not surprised the whole thing did a resurgence, the timing just feels weird in some way since in my head it hasn't been that long since it was a thing with the older generations. Also it has awoken the old 'I seriously studied to become a makeup artist, yet I have trouble identifying colours and skin tones' insecurity. I'm not too happy to have to tackle that :DD Also loving the red top and the red dress, such brightness and fun with the shapes just really match the energy you give off on your videos!
Slay queen, loved the dress. Taking the waist lace, big brain move. Also, I wanna know about that color analysis thing I haven’t heard of and I wanna know all your thought.
The colour analysis thing was always so weird to me, people should be allowed to wear what they want without people saying it’s flattering or unflattering. Love to hear your thoughts though ❤

If you don't want to put the belt tie in your hair, wrapping it/tying it as a bow around a bag handle works perfectly!!
You should definitely do a seasonal color analysis video. I think you’re a spring and those vibrant pink colors look great on you
def a bright spring. i don’t think i’ve seen anyone brighter than her except maybe katie mcgrath
Exactly what I thought! This color even looks better on her than the hat or the vest
I think the dress colors look great on you! Just wear what you love, if others don't like it that's their loss.😊
okay, I totally agree about the color/seasons thing! tell ‘em!!
also loved the tie-belt removal solution, and putting it in your hair instead! soo cute!
Yes to the seasonal color theory video!
Boy Scout capsule wardrobe 😂 love your channel ✨
The dress you showed us at the end looks lovely on you. You've got to keep it! Also, I would like to see a video about seasonal color analysis.

Love the safari vibe!!

You're definitely my favourite fashion content creator atm
I would love to see a video on season color analysis. I find it a very interesting topic and would love to know what your opinion on it is.

I thrifted my first vest the other day inspired by you!✨
Quickest thrift-flip EVER! Looks great on you and the tie looks much better in your hair.

I'm not too happy to have to tackle that :DD
Also loving the red top and the red dress, such brightness and fun with the shapes just really match the energy you give off on your videos!
Slay queen, loved the dress. Taking the waist lace, big brain move. Also, I wanna know about that color analysis thing I haven’t heard of and I wanna know all your thought.
Love watching you ❤️
