not me misspelling polyester throughout this video lmao
Also so sorry about the mic fuzziness in the second half
It's interesting to see how much your personal style has changed since this video. The outfit you felt was the most you just looks so different to the outfits you have put together in more recent videos (although, these are for a different season, so it might just be that)
I think the issue with the pink babydoll top is the scale of the pattern. For something that unstructured, I think you have to go either ditzy floral or big statement flowers that disguise the pattern repeat. The medium-scale print is just a bit awkward, and seeing the repeat makes it look "cheap" if you know what I mean.
It looks pink camo-ey
The styling of the lavender tie dye top was genius, it made me want a top like that. Would love to see more mystery box style challenges!
I totally agree but at the same time for some reason I kinda lowkey want the top too haha she makes it look soo good
Would definelty love a no theme or different theme :) Some of the flower tops were really reminding me of middle school in the 2016 era, at least that’s what I wore 🤷♀️
i would love to see another of these videos !! i find this so inspiring for trying to style some of my own outdated clothes
I'd love an unthemed one - even more chaotic energy please! I loved the way you styled that last piece - I really thought the tie dye shirt was unstylable but you made it look cool!!
i think that floral babydoll tee could be cool if you dyed it!! maybe if you tried a deeper color or brown- it could maintain the pattern but make it a little more subtle. regardless you did an incredible job with styling it and all the pieces
I was going to say this!
I would love to see a video where you and some of your fashion UA-camr friends take turns styling each other for a few days. Maybe if there's enough of you it could be like a challenge to guess which friend styled which day?
This would be using clothes from y'all's existing closets for the most part!
That’s such a fun idea! I’ve loved the collabs where Beep and friends thrift for each other!🌼✨
The reason why the v-neck top felt softer has to do with a number of factors. For one thing, it’s probably a polyester spandex blend, which would make it more stretchy and therefore more comfortable-but polyester comes in sooo many different forms, depending on how the fabric is made.
This really shows that it's more about the styling than the pieces themselves! You can pull off anything with the right attitude.
Yes!!! Do it again with a different themed bundle. And I love love the floral top you kept and styled with the loafers. Sooo great.
I love this as a video concept because it feels like a way of donating to goodwill while having fun
The low risk low reward statement almost reminds me of certain people I’ve dated… haha I wish my goodwill had these bags they seem so fun!
I remember wearing baby-doll tops in the late 2000s -- that waist seam would always hit the weirdest part of my bust. I think that's when I developed an allergy to peplum tops too 😅
Beepworld video before bed?! Night has been made!
love this idea, it's so fun! if it's accessible for you, maybe consider donating the items to a women's shelter or somewhere where the items will be given away for free? this was 10 months ago so maybe you already do that now anyways but thought i'd make the suggestion 🥰
The way you styled the babydoll shirt with the harness was my favorite outfit.
That tank with bralette combo is 👌👌👌👌👌
This was so fun! I would love to see another with the non-themed bags.
In defense of 4th baby doll piece, I loved it xD and 6th one is also really cute! Kinda funny but thats a good vibe
Loved how you styled the 4th! And all of them too uwu
Some interesting looks 😉 Was just thinking…lol it might look weird…could you put the two light pink tops together, to make one top?…the wrap $88 dollar one and the tank top one, since the wrap one is all open 🤷♀️😁
i live in new zealand, i do this type of thing all the time because all of our opshops is filled with "unstylish" clothes! it's so fun
Outfit number 2 is so good oh my
those tank tops were also my high school vibe, what a throwback 😅
Look 3 is definitely a favourite! And I totally feel you with the shades of pink that look like skintone, I have one like that as well! I actually thought the babydoll one was really cute, but then again the pattern and style together make me think of something I see on little children all the time...
Look 4 was genius ❤
i think the fact that the light pinks match your skintone is actually a great thing! it's like a perfect nude colour for you, i think you really suit it!!
My favorite outfit was the last one. Good job.
I adore these videos. You style things in such a unique way!
You’re so talented styling those pieces, hope you do more of these videos soon 😍 immediately subscribed
You did so good taking something off and turning it into something so good. I love how you show us how you build it and don't just instantly come at us with the finished look and I love how you talk to us all the way through. Some people just play music as they show the final looks and I notice I stop paying attention when they stop talking. Probably because I always watch as I multi-task so music in my mind apparently means not important. 😮❤
The pink baby doll shirt is cute, but the print reminds me of pink camo 😂
That was the exact vibe I was getting!
ooo what if you put the skin colored tank OVER the white puff sleeve? or over a darker color tee to break up the color (if it’s not too tight of course)
loved this! would totally watch more vids like this (themed or unthemed)
it was very fun to watch and I would love to see another one! ruffle pink over bra the best for me!
You rocked this! Loved watching!
I actually love the shirts that fit with your skin tone, they're super flattering and could let u do some really interesting neutral and light looks
I'm gonna say the issue with the strangeness of that flower print is down to the use of black. The general vibe of the print and the other colours is muted and blend-happy, not gutsy and "contrasty", so overuse of black linework is hurting the soft vibes, without being heavy and gutsy enough to take the print in a pink goth direction. I think having the print fully on show is tough, but your thought that it might work as something quite different is useful. A drapey gathered a-line, or other non-full-length skirt, might get away with a delicate print like this not being entirely pleasing, because the draping fabric would likely blend it all into a sense of "some kind of cherry blossom or something" that's more forgiving than seeing the print clearly laid out over to see well, as it is here at chest-level. Still not the best skirt - but yeah - it'd work.
Loved this!
Loved this so much! Def more like it please! The fun you had with it completely shines through - what a joy 😊
You did so well! I would've had a hard time styling these items haha. I really like the second, third and last outfits, they are effortlessly cool ✨️ would love to see a part 2 to this!
I would totally love to see another one of these videos!!
you should definitely do this again, theme or no theme!
Loved this and would love to see another one!!
for my style, i'd dress the top 2:30 in a poet shirt/late 60s vibe bc I love george harrison! I would layer a bishop sleeve blouse underneath and then I'd tie a scarf in a late 60s style too ~ cute video!
loved this video!!
I love your videos and this idea!
Loved this video idea!
Such a fun video. Would love to see you style more of the mystery bags 😄
i loved hearing your thought process while styling all these outfits! very fun video :)
great video concept, really enjoyed
Outfit 2 and 3 are my fave 😍 very impressed with how you made outfit 4 work so well as well!! I think with outfit 5, maybe wearing a top underneath it would’ve made it more visible, but I guess cos it’s too small for you, that may have been a little tricky
i think with the babydoll shirt it was the neckline maybe? like it feels like its super high to me idk! because the bottom half and sleeves were cute imo
what a fun idea liz!!! omg! so excited to watch!
great job! Love this topic. I would enjoy seeing more like this.
Definitely make more videos like this! Was super fun :)
I liked more of the pieces than you did... Also that black strappy thing you added to the outfit really made the outfit. I think a brown suede jacket wld really enhance ur wardrobe.
I am not a pink person or a ruffle person or a floral person. But the way you styled these thrifted pieces is amazing and creative! I would love to see a Norm Core thrift bundle video! ❤
I loved the second outfit❤
Definitely need this as a series!
pls do more of these! i love seeing where your mind goes to styling these random pieces
The second look reminds me of Claire’s outfit from the breakfast club
I don't know why but I really wished the purple tie dye shirt had shoulder pads! I feel like they would elevate the look and emphasize the fun sleeves
I think the babydoll top is kinda cute. I would style it with some micro shorts and add some trendy shoes like a ballet flats with socks or kitten hees and a funny bag. Damn, now i want a top like this for myself
Yes! Do it!
Honestly, I loooved the video, please do more of them 😍🙏🏻
Yo! Welcome back HaMICtaro!
lol "polly & esther" is a clever brand name
Yayaaa! This was fun! I will suggest the mystery bag to my local thrift shop!
It feels like styling does way more than individual clothing items. Which means that with a bit more creativity we can create great outfits with whatever we find in thriftstores or even in our closets - instead of going on a wild chase after specific pieces 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
agreed with you on the babydoll tee, but it actually ended up being my fav outfit out of the bunch!!
Ahhh! I think you styled these all so well! My favourite piece was the fitted T-shirt 😊
LOVED the fantasy outfit 😍
your hair is so pretty 💖
I love these types of videos 😊 that last outfit with the purple white top was fire!! I'd really like to see you do this again !
More please!!!
Sis you are giving grown up Kim Possible with the purple tye dye look and I LOVE IT 😍
That pink babydoll top is giving camo if you know the one. Like the one that’s got the sticks and leaves in the print lol. Love the way you styled it but I definitely can’t not see that camo when I look at it 😂
i think for the babydoll shirt, the pink is super pale and faded, but the flowers are quite bright colours that stand out a bit too much? it feels like the whole pattern should have been faded to look more cohesive. also from the front it essentially just looks like a tshirt that was cut into two and ruched at the second half. there’s no structure, no synching or flaring, it just falls like a tshirt! that’s my take, totally get why it’s your least favourite piece~ loved the video ❤
the polly & esther brand is sold at ross, i have a cardigan from them i wear all the time :-)
If you like that Max Studio top (I think it looks very nice on you tucked in and could see you finding creative ways to layer with it!), it could easily become very wearable as a top if you hand-sew on one or two silver metal sew-on snap fasteners so you’re able to securely close the front! 😊
My friend and I once bought a $10 mystery bundle and the cashier gave it to us for FREE. We hated all the tops though so thank god she did... she was looking out for us that day.
I've never seen something like this in SoCal. So curious!! 🙌
fabric note - the polyester tee probably feels better than the polyester ruffle vest just because it's knitted instead of woven. a little added softness just from the structure of it maybe?
Oh mai gaaaawd, please do part two, maybae with not themed mystery box, so that it would be even more exiting and dopamine-inducing to see waht you got:Dd!!
this video was so fun i love the idea!! im a big fan of all eras of fashion including the 2010s!! loved every top but the nude eyelet ones eyelets just kinda look off to me!!also the fact u can see the animal print on the floarl side is so cool imo its reminds me of gyaru fashion!!! my fav look was def the 2nd one!! obsessed with the pop of color in the bag !! ur accessory game slaps so hard!!
Actually, all the tops look good, but I agree with you about polyester. I'd love to see another box. My favorite is the floral tee.
whaaaat i've never seen a mystery bundle at the thrift!!! i also really liked the double neckline pink/white top moment
Wow, ofc I want more of these! And also, your mind. You could really style your least favorite item and LOOKED GREAT on you. Omg. You witch-fairy-godmother. Waiting for the next one :))) and hope your prediction happens if I get a mystery bag myself :’)
I actually have that last tie dye top! Haha. I love the way you've styled it, it's given me a really great idea on how to wear it (it's been admittedly sitting in my closet for a while now). Also for the eyelet top, you could always dye it to make it less your skin tone, so that it would be a good layering piece. The baby doll one looks like maternity wear, which is fine, but its in a way that looks like you're expecting and not just wearing a top that happens to be maternity, if that makes sense.
The pink top looks like the pink camouflage kids clothes you see at bass pro shop or cabelas to me.
Look 6 is so smart!!
This was fun! The local Goodwill's around here don't do mystery boxes but I could never; I am so picky about materials, especially in summer. That floral tee was super cute though! Poly can feel so different depending on how it's processed, maybe it's a brushed knit? I enjoyed this but I'm not sure I love the idea, even though it's sustainable since it feels a bit haul adjacent; I'd just rather see you stick to styling things you're actually into or to a theme that feels more intentional (not that I'd stop watching or anything.) Maybe a styling the items you wear the least or outfits around one item or something like that?
i really like the concept as far as styling. I think if it becomes a continued thing on the channel it may be worth re-selling the items for couple dollars on like FBmarketplace or something rather than re-donating.
I think the baby doll shirt stands out because the pattern and shape looks like a pediatric nurse shirt. Also that shade of pink.
I don't think it's ugly, but it does remmind me of going to the pedriatician haha
you remind me of kathleen illustrated so much
Yes to another mystery bundle! I wonder which are the other themes they have 👀
please do more of these videos this was so fun to watch!! id wear the babydoll top with white very wide cropped trousers and white platform sneakers like buffalo shoes. personally i love a loose on loose outfit and i think id keep the other pieces solid colours so the top doesnt have to compete lol
I would try the deep v backwards, since high necks and open backs seem to be a thing?
hi! love this video sooo much. The one poly tee was maybe a rayon? so a softer blend?
also that one pink one that baffled you looks like when they do real tree print in pink lol
Love this idea! The outfits came out beautifully; here’s our “honorable mentions.” Outfit one is a personal fave, it gave ‘Art Teacher nearing the end of the week,’ and the bag matched that vibe perfectly.
Outfit two’s drawstring bag was a great piece to pair with the fit; as well as offering inspiration to us on the LR team, we have some semi similar bags we’ve been trying to style.
(Outfit 4) The scarf + harness combo on the top paired with the double skirts?? Love! I agree it achieved the “Fairy” look you were going for.
(Outfit 5) I really enjoyed the layering of the two tops and think it completes the outfit extremely well.
Did you pick a mystery bag that specifically had your sizes, or how did that work?
Overall love the video; from content to production everything looks great.
Just curious, how did you put up the white background in the other room? And do the lighting? It looks really nice and showcases the outfits really well.
