Hi there. Is there a way to access the non-bike workouts on the Nordictrack S22i bike? For example, on the iFit app on your cell phone you can see Treadmill, Bike, Strength, Rower and Eliptical workouts. I was wondering if you could do this via iFit onboard the actual bike itself.
Hi adriano6k, unfortunately there is no easy way to do that. I thought there was a way, but noticed you can only access the entire library from a device such as a phone, a tablet, and/or a computer/laptop.
Yannick, if you want to view the non-iFit workouts, I assume you mean the workouts that are on the machine should you let your iFit membership expire? Hi Nelson Love all the work you do on our behalf. By chance do you know the total length of the treadmill belt? Not just the running surface of 60 inches. Thank you!!
Hi Rob, I read this online: Walking Running Belt Treadbelt 22” x 128” Works with Nordictrack Proform FreeMotion Treadmill. This makes sense since the width is 22" and the length would be 60" x2 = 120" plus the extra on both sides that are wrapped around the rollers.
Hi Nelson, in terms of smart adjust heart rate monitoring I just saw on my NT treadmil that the HR zones in iFit are calculated incorrectly. The max HR in my case is 167 beats which is 100%. Each of the 5 zones should be decreased by 10 % down to 50 percent, which should end in 83 beats in my case. These steps in percentage are shown in the settings of the zones. BUT: iFit decreases each zone by only 10 or 11 beats and not by 10 percent, which should be 17 beats in each zone in my case. That makes a hugh difference in smart rate monitoring espacially in lower zones . In my case 50 percent shown as 114 instead of 83 beats! So, is there a way to set the beats in each zone correctly?
Hi Michael, thanks for stopping by to leave a comment. I found this article on the Smart Adjust settings/configuration that sounds as if the Smart Adjust will eventually "learn" your body/heart rate. Let me know if this works... blog.ifit.com/introducing-smartadjust/ ----- From the website... While SmartAdjust is on, feel free to change the speed, incline, or decline of your workout, so it feels comfortable for your pace and fitness level. SmartAdjust learns Over time, SmartAdjust learns from these actions and caters the workout to your fitness level, balancing it with your trainer’s instructions.
@@NelsonMunoz0714 Thank you Nelson for the Link. But during workouts smart adjust refers to the individual heart rate zones. When you reach the appropriate zone according to smart adjust this is shown on the screen together with the range of the incorrect calculated range of beats. And when zones are calculated incorrectly in this way the training load is wrong and in my case much to high. I can't imagine that iFit does such an important and easy calculation incorrectly but I estimate it does. Smart adjust says that it is beta. But correct calculation is basic for this feature. At least the zones should be corrected manually as all known other software offers. IFit should update this bug immediately as it is dangerous too.
Hi Mike, sorry I did not see your comment sooner. For some reason it was identified as spam? Not certain why? I went ahead and approved it as a valid comment. I have a feeling iFit is not putting its best engineers on the SmartAdjust application. The fact they are still labeling SmartAdjust as beta should say something. Hopefully they will make the necessary updates to make it a non-beta option. As you say, it is not rocket science...they should at least get it right, especially when it is something that can adversely affect someone. NOTE: We should never only take the measurements and stats provided by our machines as gospel. They are just approximations. You should always rely on your own feel for how much exercise you should do and if you want specific stats, purchase other feedback accessories to compliment the NordicTrack machine.
@@NelsonMunoz0714 Hi Nelson, thanks for answering. Of course you are right. Everybody should listens to his own body and is responsible for that when using a fitness machine or a sports watch. But the feature Active Pulse (sorry, for some kind of reason I confused Smart Adjust with Active Pulse) should help people to train within their individual correct HR zones automatally. So, like every other cheap sport watch it should offer to adjust the heart rate zones manuelly. And at least, when this is not offered, it should calculate the HR zones correctly. Eg. in my case zone 2 is between 100 and 116. In Ifit it is between 124 and 134. This is 20 percent too high and even lower level 4 instead of level 2 for me. And if I want to do a beginner course Active Pulse leads you in a wrong and higher level of workout. Once I did a beginner running course and my pulse permanently was too low. So I often had to run up to 15 km/h even with incline to reach my pulse zone in a nice and easy beginner running program. So up to now this feature could be frustrating and even dangerous imho. And I can't understand why it is offered in this way even in beta. Also in beta 10 percent of 167 max HR should be 17 and not 11 beats in each zone. This calculation is not rocket science. I also wrote to iFit but I didn't get an answer up to now. I just wanted to warn people, especially people using beginner courses, maybe because of physical problems, of the feature Active Pulse in the actual beta version. Maybe you could point this out cause you are reaching more people.
Mike, if you could post this within the NordicTrack Tips, Tricks, & Hacks Facebook group almost 2K people would see it! I'll be honest -- I don’t use this feature so I was not aware it is not working correctly. Your message would go further in the group rather than buried here in the comments section.
We just got the new Norder track 1750 and I am trying to connected to my TV, I am unable to find cast screen in the drop-down menus as you showed. Can you help with that?
Richard, congrats on your new NordicTrack 1750! Bit truly is a life-changer! Ok the Cast menu? Have you enabled privileged mode? If you have, then go to settings then display and you will find the cast option.
Hi!!! You you have any tips on speed calibration for x32i??? My treadmill pace is not matching my garmin watch/ foot pod pace... so frustrating... I just received the tread... so it’s brand new🙏🏻
I would do two things. #1. Report the issue to NordicTrack as it may be an indicator for something wrong down the line. #2. Set the speed to a specific number and then start running or walking. At the end of the time period see if the speed matches the number displayed. In other words if you have the speed at 6mph that would be 3 miles in 30 minutes, 1.5 miles in 15 minutes, .5 miles in 5 minutes and so forth.
I did report it... they had no answers for me and said that they have never heard of my issue!😡 I will try what you said! Thanks for your prompt response!!! 😊
florence, I would advise you to report it directly from your iFit app. This way you will have an official email date of record of when you reported the issue.

Hi Mark, I had to Google the Oura ring in order to figure out what you were saying. Also found out what HRM (Health Risk Management) stood for. I can tell you from past experiences, connecting any third party equipment to NordicTrack treadmills/bikes/etc., is not an easy task. NordicTrack is extremely proprietary and does not play well with devices from other companies. If I had to guess, I would say it is nearly impossible to connect anything other than NordicTrack products.

Hi Carolyn, and thank you for your comments. You ask a very important question because when you are exercising, you want as much information at your disposal as possible. The only way to have all that information on the screen is to use two separate apps. You can use iFit on one side of the screen and another app like Fitbit on the other side. My split screen video can show you how to display two apps side by side on your screen. ua-cam.com/video/CzfPeplPUlM/v-deo.html .. and here is a video that shows you how to install the Fitbit app: ua-cam.com/video/puT83VL610Q/v-deo.html Hope this helps.
Let me know if this works...
blog.ifit.com/introducing-smartadjust/

From the website...
While SmartAdjust is on, feel free to change the speed, incline, or decline of your workout, so it feels comfortable for your pace and fitness level.
SmartAdjust learns
Over time, SmartAdjust learns from these actions and caters the workout to your fitness level, balancing it with your trainer’s instructions.
I wish you just come and do this for me lol
Hang in there KD. Keep at it...
Oh!! Got it! Thank you!!!
Where did you get your UA-cam apk? I tried installing one but requires google play store so doesn't work.
Hi Alex, I actually don't have a UA-cam app, instead I created a shortcut for UA-cam that looks like an app. Check this video for step-by-step instructions on how to configure the shortcut.

@@NelsonMunoz0714 Thanks that’s a big help! 👍🏻
You're welcome.
Now, if you can tell me how to connect the Oura ring to get the HRM functionality!
@@NelsonMunoz0714 actually Heart Rate Monitor. They actually gave me some instructions that _might_ work. I will report!

That’s a nice trade mil Nelson
Thanks Micah&Jordan. It has kept me same all throughout this pandemic. Allowed me to virtually visit far away lands even though I haven't left my local area. Now if I could just lose those last 15 lbs. lol...
How can I disable Ifit and bypass to the 50 preloaded workouts?
I don't think you can disable iFit, but if you go to "browse" at the bottom, you can find several preloaded or free workouts. Good luck!
Hi Careyann, thanks for stopping by and commenting. Hope you were able to subscribe so you will be notified of future videos.
No need to disable iFIT. If you log off of iFIT you will be able to see the 50+ preloaded workouts. Be forewarned that they are not all videos. Most are actually manual workouts. Check out this video for more info on pre-loaded workouts.,

Hi Nelson, can you please tell me how to download file linked?Thank you!
Hi Rodney, I had to ask my brother about this, as I believe you may be referring to a web site where you can download apps to watch movies/TV shows. I did speak to my brother and he said it has been quite a while since he has messed with this. I don't have any info on this file linked. My apologies...
Incredible... Why nordictrack don't allow this features from original? That is a big point better than other sistems
Hi Constantino. What features are you referring to?

@@NelsonMunoz0714 i order one x9i and one s15i last week.. Waiting coming from Spain .I hope your tricks will work for me! Thanks a lot for now
@@CostantinoLenzi, Ahh yes. They should allow us to add programs but unfortunately the machines are not configured to provide the most up-to-date Android environment for us to add options. Luckily for us, the platform is good enough that it does allow us to install apps like Netflix.

How do you add Heart Rate monitor to my NordicTrack S20i?
Hi Dilbag, once you have a heart rate monitor, it auto connects to your machine. I have the SmartBeat Forearm Heart Rate Monitor and it auto connects. If you have a model other than NordicTrack/ProForm it is a bit trickier and it's hit or miss.
Saweet! I'm guessing the pelaton app won't control the treadmill automatically?
Hi AI L, you are correct, the Peloton app won't control any of the NordicTrack treadmill. In order to get the treadmill moving you have to start iFit and then you can switch to Peloton. If you have Android 7.0 or higher you could have both apps on the screen at one time.
@@NelsonMunoz0714 hello Nelson. i guess Peloton trainers announce speed and incline , so you can synchronize the workout?
Hi @@74stavi. I am not certain why they announce the speed and incline but since we are using the app on a NordicTrack machine, we will need to control everything manually.
Note: If you are still interested in getting the Peloton app on the screen with another app, check out this video.

Is it possible to load Spotify app on the console too?
Hi Russell. Great question. Unfortunately I don't have Spotify but if you can find it on APK Pure or APK Mirror or other APK sites you trust, then I don't see why not. Hoping someone tries it out and comments on their success or failure...

How do you download and sync the Fitbit app?
Hi Tosin, thanks for stopping by and commenting. As for the Fitbit application, I have made a video that goes over the steps needed for you to install the Fitbit app. Let me know if your have any questions.
ua-cam.com/video/puT83VL610Q/v-deo.html
Thank you. Is there a way to have all of the information on one screen when you're doing a workout. You know how you can see your heartrate on one screen, and the speed and incline graph on the other? Is there a way to see all of that information at one time instead of having to swipe right/left? Thank you.

How to use Bluetooth headphones with UA-cam..
Hi Rishi, you can use your Bluetooth headphones with UA-cam by making certain to pair them while in privileged mode. There you should be able to find your wireless headphones and pair them. Good luck. Plz come back and let us know if you were successful.
I loved the content and info. But I am sorry to say the endless bopping and weaving of the camera gives you vertigo with so much constant motion and movement. The camera never holds still to really want to watch the content info..... which is relevent.
Hi Bob, thanks for taking the time to comment. You are not the only viewer to say the camera movement is a distraction. Most of my older videos had me exercising and the footage has the same shaking of the camera. I eventually realized this is not the best way to film UA-cam videos.
