RTE had a little problem when they bought the rights, they did not have a large enough television studio to accommodate the show. Studio 4 is the largest of their studios in Dublin, but it is just over 6,500 Sq Ft, so the had to move to Ardmore Studios in Wicklow where they had sound stages over 8,000 Sq Ft, easily enough size to accommodate the show.

Wow I had no idea it went to Ireland that's amazing! The French version which I also watch is such crap next to Strictly but I'm curious to see how the Irish are doing! (I'm from Belgium (French-speaker) and lived in Ireland for a year)
