Asda's own Swedish torch...lets burn this thing

- On a recent shopping trip to Asda I noticed they were selling Swedish fire torches. Couldn't resist it so I bought one. Say's it burns for up to 2 hours. We shall see. So after a skinful of beer on my part, Mrs. Rob The Rover and me set it alight in the garden to test it.

Nice video Rob. I bought one from Asda today for the first time and came on UA-cam to see how best to get it lit and found your video. I'm off in the garden to get it lit (and the statutory few cold beers)

I just found two of these (from another supplier, mind) in the shed. I forgot them, maybe 5/6 years old. Bigger than these, easily double the size. My shed is lovely and dry, too... I expect they'll burn beautiful (or at least, fiercely) now, but I don't dare atm with conditions as they are round my way. Maybe by bonfire night we'll have had enough rain 🤣
Yeah should be lovely and dry after that amount of time. Maybe burn it after next week. Looking at the weather for next week it’s saying rain is on the way.
Don't know if you said right price from Asda, but only £2.50 in Wickes.
I may have to pop up there and get one.

Ha ha cheers mate. As I recall I was quite drunk I think. I don’t usually use a ferro rod. I go to the Steve Wallis school of fire lighting. Stick a great big blow torch on it.

Not Asda’s own …. You can get it for 4.99 out of Aldi / Lidl too
This one had Asda’s label on it last year. I think wickes do em now too.
@@robtherover lidl had a load this weekend but the circular patch has come off and the kindling has gone. ..not hovered tho.
