Every time I hear Korean music or Korean singers, I am amazed how much musical talent exists in this country. I love absolutely everything they do with music. I appreciate the love they portrait for this art and the magnificent way they feel it. I found Korean people in general very educated in music and their enthusiasm for it is delightful to watch. Is too bad that a lot of people in this world don’t know about the Korean music industry. To the great people of this nation I say ‘THANK YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC. It has been a privilege to enjoy your incredibly beautiful music frequently. I wished I spoke the Korean language so I could also appreciate the lyrics. “Korea, one of the very best countries in music in the world”. Jaime.
Thanks to BTS, Kpop is gaining popularity globally. But, the one's who paved way are TVXQ, H.O.T, Shinwa, Super Junior,Bigbang, etc etc. Don't worry, there popularity will spread eventually. 😁
Korea is amazing - must be something in the water that produces so many great vocalists and musicians. Btw, check out the Philippines - they also have a huge talent pool (that sometimes gets overlooked because they don't have anything as influential as Kpop at the moment) - if there is a country that loves music even more than Korea its Philippines
@@jamesrawlins735 I agree. I listen to lots of Pinoy songs and I watched tons of them hitting extremely high notes. They're more talented than Korean in vocals I guess... Morissete Amon in one of my favorite, and also Charice (who is now Jake😒)

I grew up listening to a lot of great Pinoy singers like Lea Salonga, Sarah Geronimo, Regine Velazquez, Marcelito Pomoy - just too many good singers.

I heard that but I would think her family spoke primarily Korean which is why she can be fluent in both languages. To master both dialects that way was impressive. 👍🏻
"Almost is never enough" was her first audition attempt ever. She was nervous. This NY State of Mind performance was her second performance after some gentle coaching.
+Minh Le Yeah, "like" or "um" is common all around the States. Schools are starting to try to fix that lately, but it's still pretty pervasive. "You know?" "Right?" are common ways to end sentences too haha. I'm guilty of that.
I LOVE how this young girl can put so much pure, raw emotion into this song. She is singing it from the heart, which can be very difficult to do. I am in awe of her talent! What a beautiful, gorgeous voice!

i used to live in NJ and she sounds like literally every korean-american girl ive ever met (her regular voice not her singing voice)
She gave it a new flavor😊, and that's impressive. She knew the original song that's why she's able to sing it perfectly.
This was great! It was actually the Glee version, so it seems that's the version she's learned
These kinds of voices should be on the charts in North America, hell, put her on Ellen for the exposure.
