The post apocalyptic asthetics for Shadow's city escape is a really nice touch.

It was so good, it revived the franchise.
Amazing how much can be done with in game assets and texture swaps. A+ for creativity and having metal run uphill is a nice touch!

@@secoTheSonicFan So why don't they profit from the Adventure fans once? There's clearly a fan demand for a return to the Adventure style or even an SA3! Yet Sega simply don't! But why?Because it's too much hard work for them? Or because they're too busy trying to appease the Classic Loving, Modern Hating Purists, like they have for the past 10 years or so?

This is awesome! This game takes me back to the nostalgic years. Very unique and creative, by the way. You gotta do more variations of all the stages with the other characters.

Love what you’ve done with city escape. And I love that you played with various obstacles and vertical past election for certain characters that incentivizes skill. Favorites are Knuckles using his drill dive attack to avoid spike balls in the air and Metal Sonic Mission to stay fast while doing the reverse of each level. I would love to see this in a Sonic port to modern hardware

Never thought I'd hear a song from a Scooby Doo movie in a Sonic game. :). I generally hate Scooby-Doo, but I liked the movie this came from that's for reminding me. Goes good with Sonic's sound track. Really liked Amy's music mod too.

I love how there's a voice mod to replace shadow's homing attack sounds but not to replace Amy's reaaaaally annoying homing attack sounds.

i assume empty capsules to help with the more Mario-esque platforming.
I'm gonna be the guy to say it but I 100% believe Metal Sonic in Multi player is the fastest out of both Sonic and Shadow whereas Amy just has more attacks with less rings in SA2.
Amy's jumps are also far worse than any of the other Speed characters. She relies on her hammer to get the most height.
That's true. Metal Sonic has the fastest accelleration. But when used in one player, it's slower for some reason. Though he also gets faster top speed and higher jumping.
@@tuluflulu Yeah especially on the jungle maps, I use to like going high speed and pop the shield barrier for the lulz. Iirc one of the space maps you can skip a good section with him too.
