Great find. I always find a little spray of WD 40 and a microfiber cloth is a great way of giving the vinyl a nice clean. ( You should see the muck on your stylus on the first play) .
Hi Chris, I'm gonna have to come to Bristol and do a bit of record shopping. Dont have anything like that where i am. Nine Below Zero, what a find, I'm envious. Great video, cheers.
Always great stuff. By the way , I played “ for the whole world to see” by Death the other day … surely the first punk album ! Absolutely brilliant album
I got Wild Frontier when I was 16 then somehow lost it when I was at Uni and have never seen a copy since. I streamed the title track last year and it was a really emotional experience hearing it again. Didn't know he'd used a drum machine on it. Cheers Chris.
It doesn’t appear in shops very often. In fact not much Gary Moore does in my experience. He was a wonderful guitarist who I was lucky to see a few times including with Thin Lizzy. One of the best. Cheers James
Hi Chris, Michael Hoenig is really very good. Manuel Goettsching/Ashra Tempel Records are all highly recommended. Inventions for Electric Guitar, released in 1975, is phantastic. Also try Hoenig/Goettsching - Early Water, a collaboration from 1976. It's not that well known, but brilliant. You have to take your time for this. Agitation Free is incredibly good. Kind regards, Andreas.
wow some cool pick ups i would have got all 5 of those myself for that money, cheers chris, picked up 12 myself at a local record fair, not like one i had been to before but full of bargains but you had to dig, cheers again
My colour press of Teaser sounds really good-I do out all my albums-new or second hand-through a sonic cleaner before playing for the first time. Would be interesting if that would change the crackles you hear?
Don’t have a cleaner. Tbh I stream more stuff nowadays rather than always play the actual records. I won’t get coloured/fancy vinyl again. The quality of the actual vinyl isn’t good enough. Picture discy
Hi Chris, Carl Sentance was in the original line-up of Persian Risk, a NWOBHM band with Phil Campbell from Motorhead fame. Well worth checking out their early stuff.
Nice mixture of Stuff Chris Paul Kossoff Tommy Bolin Gary Moore! Etc superb I need to search my originals out! I agree about the Heep album but they did some staggering material! 👍Keep them coming Chris! I agree pic discs coloured vinyl awful a lot of the time!
Hey Chris! Colosseum valentine suite is great record. I had copy with a NM cover and a VG record and then found one with a NM record and a battered cover and just swapped them out and now have NM copy. I think Valentyne suite is there second release and ‘those about to die” is their first. That Paul kossoff record is starting to get a cult following as Iv seen a few channels showing it off. I have a Japanese promo copy of bb kings completely well, the thrill is gone is one my favs. ✌️
Those about to die - have heard of that one. I like the Kossoff Lp. Free have started to really bore me of late. I find this better than the last few dull free albums. The BB king is decent. I prefer John Lee Hooker and Muddy Waters. Cheers Martin, Chris
@@TheVinylOrchard yes muddy waters and John Lee hooker are the godfathers of blues. Have you heard of ‘black cat bones’ which has Paul kossof before he joined ‘Free’? A lot more blues rock based and kossof is amazing in it.
Hi Chris another fantastic video glad to see you got a few good bargains at the Bristol record fair I’m of the same opinion as you in regards to the fascination with the vertigo label and the vertigo swirls don’t even think there’s any music on that particular label I would listen to I need to get a little bit into the band uriah heap or at least listen to some of their stuff have a brilliant rest of your weekend enjoy your Sunday lunch and certainly look forward to seeing your next video STEVE
Cheers Steve. I have no idea why there is a fascination with vertigo. Off sailing tomorrow which I’m looking forward to. Rugby tonight! Cheers fella, Chris
@ not bath then ha lol your obviously in my neck of the woods south West London area if it’s at twickenham been a few times to watch England 🏴 good luck 🤞
Love the music of Nine Below Zero, I remember the first time I heard them on The Young Ones TV show performing 'Eleven Plus Eleven'. Awesome! 👍🏻
Great little band! Cheers Jonathan
Great find. I always find a little spray of WD 40 and a microfiber cloth is a great way of giving the vinyl a nice clean. ( You should see the muck on your stylus on the first play) .
Might give it a go. Tbh I stream stuff more than play records nowadays. Suits when I’m able to listen to music. Cheers David, Chris
love that Michael Hoenig album. I have loads of coloured vinyl recently never had a problem with the quality.
This is more picture than coloured.

Bristol is excellent for record shops and the fair at the beacon is very good
Always great stuff. By the way , I played “ for the whole world to see” by Death the other day … surely the first punk album ! Absolutely brilliant album
Will seek that one out my friend!

Do you rate the two blues albums he did? I enjoyed them at the time but didn't buy them.
@jamesgriffithsmusic really like them and got both. He can play great fusion too. What a player.
It's no wonder it's crackles when you touch it with your fingers
??? It crackled first time out of the sleeve. Hopeless
VALENTYNE SUITE is their second album ,their first is....those about to die................
Researched that after the video and found that out. Is it any good?

Didn’t know that. I know of them! Riding high?
@@TheVinylOrchard Yes ... he had a spell with Krokus too. Been around a bit.
@kevinglover-f9j didn’t know that. Great voice

The Uriah Heep one was pretty disappointing tbh. Enjoying the others. Fancy vinyl - never again. Cheers Ian, Chris

@martinsvinyl1985 barbed wire sandwich? The band that went in to be Leaf hound?
@@TheVinylOrchard yeah that’s the one 😂
Got the Canned Heat and The Colisseum.
Agitation Free 👍
Never heard anything by Agitation Free
Have you ever tried to restore an album. There are videos out of people using sandpaper etc. Does anyone know if that actually works?
Just clean them and that’s it. Ultimately I’m not that bothered. If I want crackle free I just stream. In fact that’s how I listen to most music
It is crackly....he said with his fingers all over it.
🤣
I think it’s pronounced Sim zick
Cheers Vernon. Not enough vowels for me! 😂
@ yes but, a great Scrabble score nonetheless
@vernonallen3370 😂
