Wassup Freestyle Ice Skating Community! In this Q&A we answered the questions you & other Ice Freestyers have asked us on our XEO Lifestyle posts on Facebook and Instagram about T'Blade and how to customize T-Blades!
If you have more questions you can always post them in the comment section below this video!
What does the 'T' in T'Blade stand for?
The logo of the Red Flame and its t’blade name means in full “Thermal Blade”.
The heat of the blade is one of the main advantages of the t’blade system.
Due to the very low mass of metal (blade thickness is 1 mm) the contact area may heat up faster and to a greater degree than traditional blades during skating. Due to the low mass of metal the blade heats faster and becomes hotter (+40%) than a traditional blade which improves the gliding on the ice.
In conclusion, a higher heat of the blade provides better maneuverability, easier acceleration and reduces speed loss.

I would add, that the 9mm, 11mm, or 13mm or above is not based on the degree of sharpness, a new 15mm runner is sharp. The number is in relation to the depth of the hollow. The lower the number, the deeper the hollow.

Very nice video, well done guys ! I have been looking for informations on t-blades for a few days without finding anything interesting and now with your video I almost have all the answers ! The only thing that I still don't know is if I can change the holders by myself on my Graf Ultra G7 (46 EU). Normally they allow me to change holders by myself easily to put the t-blades one. But... I don't find any tutorial or advice for it. Is it risky ?

i got a problem .. so i have a t-blade skate, but i want to change the boot itself, and i can not find boots to buy online, only in one store in the UK. Well, those are Bauer Vapor X200 boots, and were removed from a regular hockey blade. can i replace my old tblade boots with the vapor? are the holes in the same position? according to my old ccm regular skates, no. but it would be much cheaper to buy just the boots. #savemoney thx for the help folks!

hey i want to buy t blades, but I've already looked at the website and I have size 42 and my holder is 263 mm, but there is only size 264 mm, when I go down there is only 256mm. Would go to the holder of 264mm to put on it?

+Björn Beyers True, for Ice Freestylers it might not be that important as they are not really into speed but more into the edge control. Nevertheless, it is written in the video description and the blog post what the 'T' of T'Blade stands for. Btw, it seems that you have watched the video very carefully! Thumbs up for you!
