It took me MONTHS to sell my painting but I just sold it today for $380 !
wow
Omg how ??
@@vxoley1944 I just kept relisting it on eBay !
@@fitwint3894 smart! I'm proud of u, way to make the big bucks! 😀😀👏✨
Well done !
I'm a professional full time artist... Alyssa promise me you'll never say that you're paintings suck... There's no such thing.
Dries Ketels thank you:)
Hi Dries I just viewed yiur videos on Saatchi
For a sec i thought you said her painting's were ugly and i was like wait what
@@justthoughts8872 Hope it was helpful!
Hi man Im a professional Artist too.Im living in Brazil ,and I Want go to USA cause is better to sell my arts . do you live well there?
5:54 Nooo, I literally almost teared up when said that. Your paintings are amazing, dont be so hard on yourself ❤
I am an artist for 18 years painting and i have so many frustrations in terms of selling my art online. And some of my arts are sold in my one on one transactions and I am happy to hear same experience as mine. good for you my friend, because you tried it once, but for me i tried it many many times and i sell it in a very low price, just for me to survive in art. Thanks for your video
Great thing about art, is someone will like it. Start your bid at 50.00. you will get bids for it. Also spend some more time actually painting. Glitter was a good touch. Something personal. Re list them at 50.00 and seal them as well.
How come every artist says "Oh I have bad artwork" or "Oh it doesn't look good at all" but to everyone else it looks amazing I even say my art sucks almost all the time
Some may be insecure about their artwork or don't feel that they are good enough even though they receive compliments some artist dont feel satisfied with their work and I say this sometimes as well with my artwork.🙃👏
Mainly because you know you can do better then what you made and are ashamed of it or not proud. You dont want poeple thinking that's your 100% percent and let them know that you made mistakes so they don't think you make similar paintings/drawings that you arent proud of.
The biggest critic of ones art is their self
Because we see our mistakes that others dont notice.
@@moonyxxstars you're right about that
Your paintings are much better than many of the paintings I've seen on tiktok! The market is so saturated that it has to be the videos that these people are making... If you enjoy painting, PLEASE do not ever stop!
Art is subjective, so you don’t suck - it’s art. All you need is that one buyer that will resonate with your style; but, it does require lots of exposure to find that person. Keep going.
You definitely started your bid too high. I was shocked when you said $99.99. You are certainly a talented artist though. 👍
there are crazy people on there who would buy it if they were to see it and if you're lucky, one of those people will run into it and is willing to pay the price
@@personinspace4286 Wishful thinking.
that’s the whole point lmao
U should see on tik tok I saw a person one time sell their art work for more then that price 0-0
So far I am very happy with *MyOnlineSelling. Com* The suppliers list is impressive! It helps big time that they have already checked them out so I can contact them with confidence. Also, I am a beginner and have lots of questions and I can honestly say the salehoo support team is super helpful - good vibes. And that's my 2 cents :-)
You're a good artist! Don't give up too soon. Just keep trying new things and see what works.
thank you! i will! :)
you should try to make a really big painting and sell it. Yea but eBay has a lot of scammers people will bid 15,000 and its just scammers... but TRY MORE!
Shamiksa Thapa good idea! i’ll have to try that!
How do they scam on that?
@@irmalair1 on Ebay you can bid as much as you want but still don't have to pay for it. A lot of people have hacked PayPal info as well you just have to be careful
@@shamiksathapa53 would anyone actually pay 15,000 dollars for a painting?
@@ninabean5278 tbh u never know
You did great! My advice would be, always paint for yourself! Always. Stop trying to figure out what will sell. Be true to yourself and always keep your paintings put back and eventually they will sell here and there. You can make high resolution prints of your favorite paintings for selling. Find the things that you love first, the styles, and subjects, and do it for yourself. Everything that is meant for you will eventually come to you ! People that resonate with you and your art will find you and your journey through life is for you. Keep focus on your talent and through time you become better everyday. Make your talents essential as important and essential as breathing, walking, talking, laughing, loving, and living. Always paint for yourself!
Peace to you!
Your paintings are great Alyssa, keep up the good work. You earned a sub😉.
Don't feel bad, I'm a professional artist and still have a hard time selling my art 🤣. It takes a lot more than just making two paintings. I think if you keep at it you will sell art if you want to. $99 is pretty high for a begginer artist for those small canvas boards. I think starting out charge about .50 cents per square inch, so $40 for an 8x10 😉, when you start selling a lot then you can slowly raise your prices. Good luck 👍 💓
Your paintings are good, especially the way you displayed them. You are such a sweet person to watch.
You're fantastic this is exactly the kind of motivation i was looking for
What app did you use to edit your paintings on the “gallery” thing? Can’t find a similar one on AppStore or is it only an EBay edit?
This is the most authentic video I have seen for selling art on Ebay. I am an amateur artist, but I have been selling my work for over 30 years, and art work seems to sell in its own time, some not at all. I do some canvas, which I have sold sveral of, but I do mostly a craft art of painting half bushel basket bottoms. They have sold in a series of almost all at once to several to one, to none. The peak time of selling is from right after Labor Day, until Christmas. I have sold most of my art in that time frame. Art sells itself, but it has to find that right person to like it enough they want to give it a home. I went through the anquish of watching video junkies try to get rich or popular on youtube so they will make a video about anything for popularity. My money is on over 99% of those claiming they made thousands off of selling online, art included, are actually trying to make the money off of the youtube video, and lied over how much they made. I have went on countless art selling online sites like Fineartamerica, Artpal, etc., who make it sound like they are doing you a favor giving you a free platform, but trust me, NOTHING is free. To get your art to be seen on these sites you have to pay, and to keep it there is extremely expensive. I sell my basketbottoms for $25.00 a peice, to be fair to my customers local. I tried to keep them cheap online, but, everyone wants free shipping, that shoots it up, then there is trying to get it noticed, that raises the price, so online, I put them at $75.00. This proves to me the best method of shopping is hands on and local. Online shopping is great for those items you would never see anywhere else, and in the case of art, that is useful. Ebay was full of fake bidders, they put a high bid in, then if you sell it to them, they dont respond, you check the account and it has been closed. Then you have to start over. I also had hackers try to get into my account. After talking to Ebay, they assured me they could never get to my finances, however, kids do hack into other peoples accounts and make fake bids, just for fun. To me, you have WAYYYYY to much time on your hands to do that, and must be socially retarted to even want to, but, thats the new world we live in. I respect this young lady for her honesty, and I hope her channel does well for her, because UA-cam really needs to start monitering the truth behind its videos, if you make a claim, you should have to show legit proof of it. But keep in mind iif your going to sell art, if it looks to good to be true, it usually is. Never count money, until its in your hand......
Never do auctions always do buy it now
This is like the most honest review I ever seen. Thank you for that. Btw And your art is BEAUTIFUL. ❤
Make more paintings and preserve them properly.. Still post them up
It's all about loving the art
Perhaps one day you'll get an offer
Do you guys know if an Ebay business account is forcefully needed to sell your art? or can a standard (personal) account do the job? cause I know that the business one requires permits to sell and stuff like that
🥺you need more hype
thank u👉🏼👈🏼🥺
I’ve found great suppliers that I’ve been working with. I really like the fact that suppliers are already pre-screened and I don’t have to go through the run around of figuring out if these people are legitimate. And there’s the forum so if I ever get stuck, I can always talk to someone.visit *MyOnlineSelling. Com* for more info
Your painting is attractive , I entered the video when I saw them 😩💗💗💗+ I hope sb buys them.
your paintings dont suck love... you are very talented just keep doing what your doing :)
You cannot expect people to buy and love your art if you yourself don’t like it
Yes you can. Sometimes our preferences don't match our style.
In my experience, yes you absolutely can. Just say to yourself, “even if I don’t like it, somebody else out there will”. There are some paintings on my shop that I don’t like much and I’m STUMPED on why they’re so popular! Conversely, I made paintings that I LOVE that less people care about, and that stumps me too. Don’t hold yourself to a perfectionistic standard of confidence that prevents you from putting yourself and your work out there.
You are an artist. just keep going on . You are so lovely 😍
Hi I'm thinking if Investing in art work paintings could u recommend what are good ones for that also what is the best way to store them I would love if u could give me these answers or make a video on it please
My brother is a glass mosaic artist and does oil pastels also. We have a hard time selling his work also and they are unreal. Its gotta be the following
I think I'm inlove while watching this. I do love arts too 😍😍😍😍
You’re paintings are beautiful ❤️❤️
You really don't suck I think you're artwork was very pretty to be honest. Please don't give up on this. I loved the video!
☺️
I am trying to paint and sell them on eBay as well but now I’m thinking it probably won’t sell
Can i see it?
hey your paintings were great! I liked them both!
Hiw do you make sure ti not get scammed? What little experience I've had with ebay I've been scammed twice.
Looks like you had fun painting them (also you said you like to sometimes) and that makes it worth doing :D
I just did this and i'm still waiting for my painting to dry! XD
strawbxrry same
Same here
strawbxrry had you already sell it?
Sorry for the grammar..
how does it went ?
Honestly amazing. Everyone starts somewhere please dont be hard on urself. I dont sell my canvases and im only now trying, my work is based around psychological ideas, and im using tiktok to promote my ART PRINTS, i let them know they can email me about original canvases, however i mostly want to use ebay. Its just how u promote it tbh w you. My work use to be so bad haha!! Use to do anime and rlly bad sketches& now i work with abstraction and realism (: tiktok does rlly help, but u have to actually promote it and that means investing money. Therefore more ppl who like art watch it
I like you paintings!
Love the vid!!! (u have a new subscriber) I am looking forward for the next vid.
How to sign up on ebay, I mean im not a good artist but I want to sell some of it for school finance
This is so interesting! I have taken pictures of my paintings on my phone but how do I get them on ebay to see if anyone will want to buy them or place bids on them?! I would love to see whether or not they will sell.
Ur channel is so good ❤️
thank you😊
I bought them online, they ended up sending me a second shipment and I just wanna sell the copies for a quick buck. I ended up not really liking the canvases tbh but I'm sure someone will
To gain more views, try eBay advertising at 9%-13%
How do you put the picture up on ebay and image it
I sell pokemon cards on ebay and I have 15 sales so far the best thing to do is put it on a 10 day auction starting on Thursday eve so it ends on Sunday eve which is ebays busiest day when most people are shopping, start at a price that is high then reduce the auction by 5% every time you relist when it doesn't sell. Because I sell a collectable item I just work out the average price it's sold for and go from there.
Make sure you set up your seller hub so it doesn't auto relist otherwise it won't always end on a Sunday after the first listing!
The more listings you have the more likely you'll make a sale overall, theres been a few times I've listing a card and someone has checked out my other ones and bid on another one on my page too.
Make sure to take into account shipping costs into the price if you're offering free shipping! (which has got me more sales!) and in your case the price of paint or the canvas you're using!
Thank you so much given information maam thank you so much Again I will support you keep safe always keep smile 😊
i did a drawing.. it's got 164 views but it's not selling lol
its at 800+ views, still no bids !!!
Schrodinger's Cat same here
www.ebay.com/itm/233612598078
Schrodinger's Cat it’s not available that’s why lol
@@schrodingerscat3912 I looked at the link u gave me and I was about to bid intill I saw the shipping so maybe could u make the shipping like free or like 3.00$ then I would buy it.
You’re painting is not ugly and I’m a new subscriber but keep grinding
This what i needed you just can't paint anything for money and call it a day! You need to give it value! Plus you price them to high! Any art collector knows there job if and can tell which paintings is worth something! Just lower the price and keep them on ebay and keep making more until you get the hang of it! You can also sell them at actual art gallery online!
I love the colorful one!
Greets from Germany.
you only have 400 subs this seemed pretty professional, keep it up and you'll be big.

You're amazing Alyssa and thank you for ur informations , I started to sell my drawing cuz of you 😅 ,,, peace from morocco ✊🏾❤️🤗

your very beautiful and talented! great video
Hi! I'm trying to get a friend to sell her art online, any recommendations anyone? (Make a website? Ebay? Amazon? Etsy?)
You and your paintings are lovely, dear. Hang in there!
Idk how u don’t have that much subs I gonna sub
Yes, I will sell mine on eBay !
I think that it's ok to start sell with high bid, just everyone choose how want it... I like your video and the way you explain something and just make video. Good luck with your art💛☀️🤗
I put one up for 500 and have had tons of offers up to 850 I believe it's all about timing and passion.
Hey don't say you suck, you don't. we love it.
How much does eBay charge you to sell your stuff
Here's another angle, there are ppl who sell crappy artwork on eBay who DO actually get legitimate bids and sales, it's called the twilight zone
Keep it up girl. Keep positive
Paintings are beautiful and you are pretty ❤️
thank u🥺
I just started doing UA-cam arts channel and its kind of fun. Ya at least it keeps me busy during this pandemic time. I wanna see more of your art work. Be safe. By the way, you are the only one who responded my comment (❤️). 😂
i'm a digital artist.. would i have the same luck with digital art?
do you mail it
Thanks for keeping it real😌
Keep up the good work 🌻
Hello how do you take the photo of the painting and upload it as if it was on the wall with a frame? That’s pretty cool.
hi I used pixel lab app from playstore to do it! hope it helps
I sold stuff on amazon and eBay the first time I ever sold anything on amazon without any ppc I sold after 1 month you should of been more patient maybe you’ve got a sell ♥️
Wow, what a beautiful work of art. I'm not talking about the paintings either.
ahaha right
Hey how did you edit the painting in a gallery!! Cool!!
I pretty much just used photoshop😂
So Beautiful
I love to paint but those canvas are small and that starting bid was way too high. You are talented but if you're not a professional, famous artist, it's gonna be hard to get someone to bid that much for a painting on a canvas that small. I do wish you luck tho,
Your paintings are good you seem to be a very talented person don't give up on the first try eventually you will be successful . It takes time and persistence but you'll get there God bless
You're paintings are amazing! What is the background music at 1:40 ?
U have to have an aesthetic and actually want to do it for a living.. keep trying if u want to be a painter. But this video was honest so i appreciate it
I sold two paintings in one hour. The secret is don't sell something that you'd find in a high school art class or craft video cause no one wants those. Next bid at least $50 to add value not $9 or else no one will see worth in buying cheap art. Draw attractive yet modest women with unique landscapes. Bids will build each hour and sales will be quick. Also try medieval style,African art, grecco or western rich people want those. Poor buy abtract.
“Love the video and the YT channel. Do you know how to automate listings?”
I just came across this video, you still painting? You have a lovely personality btw.
I just did the same video on my channel and I'm glad I watched yours now! I think it's really because those Tiktokers and other youtubers have already a fanbase to rely on. So it isn't saying anything about your art!! It's just hard to get anything seen in the internet, when there's so much out there 😅 Anyway, loved the chill vibe in this video and just subscribed 😊

I think art has no objective, measurable value. Your paintings may seem ugly for some, but all it takes is to find one person who will fall in love with it. For that person it will be the most beautiful painting in the world. If they happen to be rich, it won’t matter whether you are asking 99 cents, 99 dollars or 99 thousand. Most people agree that the famous Black Square is ugly, but its last sale price was 60 million.
