  • Union Pacific Railroad working through the Southern Arizona Sonoran Desert in the beginning of Summer 2019. Hot days and sweaty hikes with UP 1989 the Rio Grande Heritage floating around the sunset route back and forth, as well as Phoenix. Also some nice CN power as well as some NS and BNSF.

Great work. Shawmut is especially interesting to me with the wide split between the original line from SP and the new line. One can spend time between each. The old line is now a long siding, but it has a great historical feel. "Bad Day at Black Rock."

OMG I love this video and the SCENERY!!!!! I like the shot at 15:33. So cool!!! I sent a screenshot to my mom. She moved to Phoenix from Kansas City over a year ago. I wish i could get down there to see the and the trains down there. My poor car wouldn't make it down there and back. I would want my ATCS Monitor equipment and radios and all my camera and camcorder stuff but I don't want to fly and I don't have the money to go by train either and to rent a car.

@@ThroneOfBhaal All the major railroads (Class 1) have computer systems that keep track of where all their rolling stock and motive power are at any given time and any and and all financial data involved in keeping track, so that theoretically anyway, it all balances out, with the accent on "theoretically".
