Unfortunatly I don't think there currently is a way to scan multiple pages as one file, but if you scan each page as individual pdfs, you could then merge them all together using the steps in this video: ua-cam.com/video/JHuZK9HmWHk/v-deo.html Hope this helps.

That's a shame, it sounds like the scanning functionality of that printer must not be compatible with the Chrome OS scanning tool yet. This is quite a new feature in Chrome OS so hopefully, it will start working in the future, but in the meantime, I think your only option will be to log onto the printer's web interface and scan from within there. It's a bit more complicated to get there, but it should work. To do that, you'll need to look through the network configuration settings somewhere on the printer's touch screen and find its IP address somewhere there. I can't really tell you exactly where you'd find it because I don't have that printer, but it should be somewhere on that screen. Then, once you have the IP address, you'll need to type it into the Google Chrome address bar as though it's a URL and press enter and you should then see the printer's web interface. And there should be a scan option somewhere in the menu across the top of the screen and when you click on it you'll see an interface a bit like the Chrome OS one that should allow you to finally scan your document. Hope this helps.
It sounds like your Chromebook's storage is full. So you'll need to delete some of the files and/or apps on your Chromebook to free up space before you can scan. Here's a link to a video that explains all about freeing up storage space on your Chromebook: ua-cam.com/video/uBwYMw5tAEw/v-deo.html Hope this helps.
My printer *_is_* setup and I print documents all the time from the Chromebook, but when I try to scan - as your video instructs... it says, *No Scanners Found.* The printer/scanner is indeed shown under Saved Printers under Advanced Settings, and it does indeed print from the Chromebook as mentioned above, but still says no *scanner* found. It both prints *and* scans just fine from a Windows PC when I connect that PC to the same network.
That's unfortunate. My guess is that, while the printing functionality of your printer works with Chrome OS, the scanning functionality does not. This is not very common, but it is possible, and that would explain why you are able to print but not scan. Assuming this is the case, I unfortunately don't think there is anything you could do. You could try restarting all the components involved (printer/Chromebook/Wifi router) to see if it's just some strange issue. But if it still doesn't work, I don't think there's anything else I could suggest. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
Sorry, I'm actually not sure if it would work with a scanner that doesn't have wifi as I've never tried it. I think Chrome OS is able to use some USB printers to print, so perhaps scanners would also work. I think the only way to know would be to try plugging the scanner into your Chromebook and see if it works. But if you plug it in and it says "No scanners avalible", I think that unfortunatly means you won't be able to use that scanner with your Chromebook.
You could try restarting your scanner, Chromebook, and wifi router and then try again and see if that helps. But if it still doesn't work, I think that might unfortunately mean that your scanner is not currently compatible with this scanning feature on Chrome OS. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

When I press "scan" a messege appears in my screen saying "make sure there is enough local space to save scanned files" How do I solve this issue?
