BY FAR THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE SEEN ON THIS SUBJECT MATTER ... IT DEFINITELY HELPED US!! PLEASE CONTINUE DOING THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS!! I WILL BE CHECKING AGAIN IN A YEAR WHEN IT'S TIME FOR ANOTHER BAT
Wow. I haven't even watched the whole video but so impressed with the introduction. These new videos are FIRE! Edit: after finishing the video... The freaking Ghost?! It's a cult!
Great video, my only request would have been to see a Mizuno CRBN1 as we are seeing a lot more of those bats in tournaments. maybe a couple videos where they swing 1 piece bats and another with 2 piece bats?
Excellent video with useful information. I wish Lyndsey had talked more about why Mantra was her #4 option for feel. The results indicate the Mantra is the best option. Based on it being her #4, I am debating between Ghost Advanced and DMND 2 for my daughter, but I also keep double-checking the data on the Mantra. Ghost Advanced seems like the smart guess. Also, Lyndsey has a smooth approach and does not appear to give maximum effort on many of her swings. Sometimes she releases the top hand, other times she does not. I would be curious what the results would have looked like with fewer, more intense swings. Again, this is excellent and I am thankful.
Great thoughts here. She can swing it for sure and was defiantly more form over dinger kind of vibe. We wouldn’t hesitate on the Mantra for sure. It’s a banger. Thanks for watching! Maybe @lindsey can chime in on her mantra thoughts.
Ghost has always felt like it had more pop, not too heavy in the zone, I love the way the grip feels as well. My first thought on mantra when I used in a game was the way it sounds off the bat was a no go, and I didn’t feel it had good pop. The knob also broke off the bat my very first time using it.😅No question why I picked the ghost because I’ve used it my whole life though. But it’s different for everyone. I took over a hundred swings that day on account of a sprained wrist as well where you aren’t seeing ‘maximum effort’! Some daddy hacks may have been fun to see but could have also been even worse outcome, because I don’t try for homeruns!😂 I trust my strength and my quick hands through the zone and it was front toss. All in all will always reccomend.
@@lyndseymadrigal175 thanks for taking the time to reply. It’s appreciated. My kid has always swung an LXT. Someone gifted her a Meta but she doesn’t like the feel as much as the LXT. She also has some finger, thumb and hand lingering pains from cage time so your recommendation on feel is important and has convinced me to go with the advanced. Have a great senior season! Thanks!
@@lyndseymadrigal175 One more question. I hope you see this. My daughter swings a drop 9 like you, but a 33'. Can you talk a little about why you prefer the drop 9 over the drop 10? She is moving up to a 34" with her next bat and I am torn if I should stay drop 9 or drop 10. Also, if you have any thoughts on drop 8's, I am here for it! Thanks again! (Kid is 5'7.5", 155 and has been swinging a 33/-9 effectively for the past 3 years. She will be a junior this season. She doesn't strike out much and I am thinking a 34" l might turn some of her mis-hits into barrels. )
@@jsturner78hi sorry I just saw this! I had been swinging a 33-10 until I got to college. As far as length, I get to the outside better with a 34. And to me all the difference the drop makes is the power. I went from hitting maybe 18 a season out to 34 in one with the drop 9. I tried drop 8 once and slightly too heavy for me, I was dropping my hands a ton. But the drop 8 on soft toss was unreal as far as power.
Did you notice a drop off from the bats performance when taping them? I plan to do something similar this weekend, but was curious if the tape dampens them, or takes away from the pop...
This review is relative only to the batter. Players need to swing each bat on their own. All those metrics such as exit velocity will be different based on ability relative to the batter and not the bat.
I have a 12 year old daughter who just broke her 2023 Double Barrel. With the Echo Connect getting #2 and 3 why did you rate it at the #5 spot? I’m trying to find my daughter something balanced but with decent pop. Any suggestions?
@@lyndseymadrigal175 awesome! What are your thoughts on the Echo 2 seen you liked that one and rated it top 3. And what made you switch off of Easton. Thanks in advance!
You have seriously stepped up your video editing, it's awesome. Looking forward to more great videos.
Thank god someone is reviewing softball bats.

My 13 year old daughter loves the Mantra 3.0, at Scheels her exit velo was 70.2 on hit tracks. 33 -9 she's 5,5

This a good idea. Thanks. Let’s see what we can put together.
And that is how you make a good test of which FP Bat is best for a player type, great work boys and video is looking better! Keep it up!
Thank you! We’ll keep on it.

I thought that at first it was going to. But it felt no different then when I was taking cuts with an untaped bat as well!
Very, very useful. Please continue unbiased themed videos.
We will!
3% no. But can def tell the diff between a balance vs endload.
no cf? no montsa? no xeno?
Good review but no DeMarini ?
Not reviewing for 10u

Same thought. I’m really trying to convince my daughter to try some other then a ghost. Trying to find more info on that bat before hand.
Hi guys! I’m using the Demarini whisper right now and it has decent pop! I used the louiseville xeno last year and loved it as well

Can't go wrong with an LXT for balance and pop.
Good video
