Superlative Avro Lancasters albeit smaller than average! They look great, sound great and appear to fly great. Beautiful scale models, well worth all the money, time and effort spent on em. Keep on flying chaps keep on flying.
Many thanks geezer !
I can't be the only one that got goosebumps watching this lol, just a shame this is the only way we can see a group of Lanc's and Just Jane in the air, a huge thumbs up to the guys in recreating these icons
RC NINJA STUDIO thanks ninja
Absolutely fantastic!, thank you for showing the vid, couldn't get over seeing such fine examples of a great aeroplane. Regards John Kinnane Tasmanian Australia
Would’ve liked to see them in squadron formation 👍
Those big Lancaster's fly like the real thing. Fantastic video.
thanks larry
Man! that was awesome !! the only thing that I would like to see is, them to fly in formation and perhaps a few super marines. good show indeed boys.
Great presentation, thanks for sharing! The realism is stunning, terrific sounding too!
Great to see so many giant Lancaster in the air. _Great video!_ *LIKED!!!*
Cheers, Horst
+RCScaleAirplanes many thanks horst, was a great show but the weather was crap - lol - pete
+tbobborap1 forget the weather ... it looks like war time. Sunshine is for people which park their car in the shadow. LOOOL
lol - i agree horst - pete
Do these models come apart in some way for transportation They are very large models. My uncle used to fly them in WW2 He would be very pleased. Thank you for video
Beautiful Avro Lancasters ! My late Dad salutes Avro Lancasters and Crews. My Dad was RAAF and Dad's Liberator B-24 was RAF. fight in Burma.
thanks john
Awesome sight bravo to the owners for bringing them together for the event a fantastic save with the retract failure and bounce made my heart sink for a sec great save the best pass for me was the escorted landing thumbs up
jeff nicholls thanks jeff
Wow that was an Awesome Display I remember having Models of almost all the Planes I see on your VDOs when I was a Kid!!! Now I have a lot of them and can Actually fly them thanx for Sharing
Awesome video. The pilots did a great job. The fellow with the starboard gear failure did yeoman's job of saving the aircraft.
Several quantum leaps beyond my 1/72 Airfix version. Magnificent job boys!
Gotta love the Lancaster in flight whatever the scale! 👍☺
thanks arcadian
Wonderful, glad to see one was Just Jane!! Lovely place ace museum! Think AJ J was the one that finally broke the dam?
thanks ian
Great vid. The only complaint though, is the lack of the Merlin roar!😊. That would have been perfect! Nit picking ,i know
Can't stop watching this guys. Ideal venue. Flying Lancasters at East Kirkby again! Well done, and thanks.
thanks ed
My father flew Lancasters during the war. He would have loved to see that.
Dave Bull MYBROTHER WAS WITH 619 squadron
It's nice to see so many Lancaster's flying together
4:00 Now that gives one a sense of scale, and it's something!
More awesomeness from over there where you are.
Thumbs up lads!
***** thanks lord of darkness
WOW what a treat!
A superb presentation Pete & Deano
Super kool
***** thanks deek
Wicked video chap ! Good edit too ! Number two down did really well to get it down - without wing stall 👍 great flight !
thanks roo
Outstanding to see so many giant Lancaster in the air.Loved it! Great video!
One of the last two flying Lancasters buzzes my town frequently.
Gandalf MacBagpipe Might be 3 soon with just Jane being restored ;)
don't suppose there is a dam in your town...?
Gandalf MacBagpipe The one in Canada or U.K. ? That's so impressive . I saw it on a few occasions in Canada .
The one in Canada. The Canadian Warplane Heritage.
Omg. Just gorgeous!!!
1976axerhand thanks
Nice video, I see and hear the lancaster a lot living in Hamilton ontario. she is a beautiful bird. she brings tears to my eyes when I see and hear the merlin engines. nice to see so many in your video.
A prominent leader of the Dambuster 617 Squadron was John Fauquier from a rich French-Canadian background. One original ex-Dambuster, Fred Sutherland, was Canadian: he died recently, aged 96.
Attention to detail is brilliant. Noted 617 lance with no mid upper gunner position
An action man would look great in it
Que maravillosos jugetes..hobbie..que bonito espectaculo..
Marvellous models, great fun!
Glad you like them!
Great video Pete...Good landing on that one with only one Wheel down !! Nicely saved. Cheers....Steve.~.
***** thanks steve
Great to see such wonderful aircraft flying together! Although, the only footage of 'G' for George, is of takeoff and landing. Perhaps the pilots forgot to slip the cameraman a few quid??? ;)
Many thanks greg !
Things of beauty.
cheers copee
Lovely models very well flown. Nice sight.
I nearly didn't click on this because it isn't what I was looking for but now I'm so glad I did.! Brilliant video beautiful models
many thanks jon, only 2360 more videos for you to watch - feel free - enjoy
@@tbobborap1 well that should fill a lazy weekend or five... Cheers guys have a good one.
Magical well done guys
thank you
3:53 “Hey up! Ian, get the spare tire and the jack out of the boot. We’ve got a small job for thee before we set the old girl down...”
Hermosos Lancaster. El mejor bombardero de la Segunda Guerra Mundial.
They should try adding a cockpit view for every menned position
with bomber scope.

YES
The most beautiful British bomber !
Fantastic, I reckon someone could do a bouncing bomb on water with practice. For sure.
Great models well done to all.Undercarriage collapses in cross winds very realistic happened to my dad 😊
thanks john
My father was attached to a Lancaster squadron during the war. One of their missions was to carry the really large bombs to destroy submarine pens. Getting airborne was a struggle with such a load and, on one occasion the Lancaster came down in a field at the end of the runway.
My father jumped on the crash tender and they made their way to the landing site. When they arrived, they saw the Lancaster parked on a slight incline, the aircrew running up the hill, and the bomb rolling down the hill.
wow - what a great story glynn, have you researched the rest of his career glynn - would make for great reading - pete
Brilliant piloting, fellas,,
Maybe time for a remake of the dambusters movie
Proper Boys Toys - excellent.
It's the mini version of the British airforce
Any idea why these Lancs aren't weathered in this scale?...They all look brand new
Dub in the sound of the merlins and with careful editing you might think they were real ! Nice work guys😊
Glad you enjoyed it steve
Even these model Lancs have a higher payload than most full-sized bombers from the war. :)
lol - thanks
those are awwesome
thanks
Great model Lancaster bombers even one with the bouncine dams bomb.
Fantastic guys!
Pete , just found this one . Sorry it took so long . LOVE the Dam Buster bomb drop . When the kid went to retrieve it , it really showed the scale . The thing looked like a bowling ball . Great video as usual . Thanks and God Bless , Paul .
many thanks paul, if you use my playlist it will help you navigate through the different video / aircraft categories - if your interested that is - pete,
Always interested . Just keep on losing the information in this yogurt container I call my brain . Thank you for the heads up (as it were) and God Bless.
OUTSTANDING!!!
That was impressive!
Outstanding !!
ME109 at12 o’clock high! Hehe great job.
Thanks for vid. enjoyed.
Awesome to see.
Awesome
On the ground they sound like old triumph motorcycles.
Great show. Fantastic model Lancaster's, especially AJ-J .... (...Though the Barnes Wallis bomb should really have been dropped from a much lower [scale] altitude, perhaps it would have bounced more realistically...). Just one question....? Where do you store these beauties? They're a tad on the large size for the average hobby room...lol. Don't tell me, you have built a hanger at the bottom of the garden....
.
I'd really love to see more of my favourite WW2 aircraft - The DH Mosquito....
brilliant
Was the bomb spinning correctly?
The wings come off on pretty much all models
The bombs were barrel shaped and were rotated on the plane by a belt before release.
@@marshallbowen8693 Another thing. The original bombs were dropped on water, which is a lot different than hitting grass and dirt
Fantastic.
those look great.. whos plan did you use to build them?
The reverse rolling Dam Buster Bomb on the Lancaster Bomber would have put on a better show if it had been dropped from a lower altitude. That bomb was meant to be dropped from a scale altitude of 200 feet Above the water, or ground. I'm Just saying. Great Bombers !!! Very scale, and they sound Wonderful !
Just can't beat those 4-engine RC bombers when it comes to the sound as they fly by! I forget the name of the mission and the bomber group that dropped those bombs on a lake (in Austria, maybe?), so that the bombs would skip along on the surface of the water in time to get as close to the dam's construction to blow it all to hell. Was the bomb a ball-shaped device like the one that was on this RC video? Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Rich
PS; I was born 10 years after that war but WWI and WWII were wars that just couldn't be imagined IMO.
Operation Chastice on the Mohne, Eder and Sorpe dam in Germany, the Ruhr area. Hence 617 squadron is called the Dam Busters.
I think these are great but one thing I have noticed is that they respond a bit too quickly to control surfaces. Perhaps it could be an idea to build in some artificial sluggishness to make the response look more authentic?
+JasonJason210 thanks jason, good comment but stop and think for a minute ! it takes you up to three years to build this model and can cost you anything up to £4000 + the last thing you want is an unresponsive / sluggish £4000 + model lumbering around !
so you have to sacrifice scale flying for sensible handling and being able to turn quickly to avoid a crash or other hazards, the guys can fly them more sedately and scale like if they wanted by simply moving the tx sticks gently,
i think when they are flying together they get a bit excited and open the throttles up and have a good time ,
i hope this info helps you - regards pete
+tbobborap1
Sure - I had considered that also. Great job.
thanks
not enough range to use expo to simulate it on the lower end?
Some BF109 are missing! Tatatatatatatatatatatatatatata................
like 10
Fantastic! What is the purchase price?
Not available
Why is it that the "original" is a three bladed prop aircraft and the RC version a 2 bladed prop ? Technical reason ?
yes there is one less blade.
Chainsaw chorus.
amazing
I'm the 200th liker.
...Wow....
Det så rigtig flot ud.
Lancasters taking off like Fokker triplanes!!
To me there were two aircraft that the Brits got right in WW2 and this is one of them the other the Mosquito .
Spitfire,Hurricane?
Curious...Why two bladed props instead of three?
Because three are more expensive and less efficient at this scale.
Can we assemble 1000 of these as well as a 1/6 mock up of Berlin?
Nice models, all. Did Granny J-Jane come out to watch?
yes she did cap, check her out here - ua-cam.com/video/voZXxmZZ5WA/v-deo.html

Along with the Yank Boeings one can see the results of the Lancaster's handy work in every major German city , all of them have a rubble mountain somewhere on the outskirts of the cities to dump all the rubble from the cities that were flattened , the Germans do not like Lancaster's , they were one of the instruments that have turned Germans against wars their past national hobby and pastime .
The Nazis popped-up again after WW2: most of the killers were freed or not pursued; the cartels running Hitler kept their assets and profits; the U.S. govt. and its administrators in Germany were fascist-friendly, the prominent German post-war politicians like Adenauer behaved as if they'd been Nazi 'sleepers' all along, and former Nazis had a big hand in creating the E.E.C., now the E
U., a German-led sort of economic Fourth Reich.
Sounds like a bunch of mowing equipment lol
Beautiful models of a not so beautiful aircraft!
I would like to see some Messerschmitt Me 262 behind them
How do they synchronize the motors , if one is running slower it would be dragging on the others .
The engines can either be physically linked to match r.p.m. or electronics can monitor and match the engines' output: it was being done on r/c planes in the early '60s.
it was a drum and not a ball.
actually clif it was a ball in the beginning called "upkeep" then the wooden casing smashed off leaving the drum which worked better so they left the ball casing off - look it up
Need to contact any of these owners please for a mission... Please contact me!
Where's Jerry then?
Berlin tonight ?????
why do they only have 2 bladed props?
ahh ok im use to flying electric haha. im thinking about moving on to petrol
At 1:20 you see that the Lanc to the left does have 3-bladed props
where is the vr-a avro lancaster
Is a 3 bladed prop not possible?
engines are not powerfull enough to turn scale 3 blade props - thus more efficient 2 blade
tbobborap1 Thanks
Thay ues 2 blad props dew to the model engine thay ues.
3:20 - Pilot must not neglect to retract the undercarriage once the aircraft is airborne.
Johnny Jackrabbit says,. "I'm on it!"
